I purchased three luggage's from Uresh at the Samsonite store at the Citadel Outlets. I first met Uresh about four months ago while shopping for future luggage. I didn't purchase any luggage back then but his demeanor and professionalism were so great that I just had to come back to purchase from him at this store. He was very detailed in his recommendation as to why we should choose the luggage that my wife and I went with and we couldn't be happier! I love Samsonite, especially their awesome warranty! I've dropped off bags here and there over the years and it was always a hassle free experience, with amazingly quick turnarounds (like I'll get my luggage back, all fixed up, within a week)! I would like to make a special recognition for Chris, he is the hardest working man there! I was in the store this past Saturday and it was really busy. Chris still was very courteous and friendly and was able to multitask like a superhero. He was ringing up customers and also helping the people needing repairs filling out their repair tickets. Yenifer the store manager gave me the transaction number and asked me to call the next day in case that I will still have this charge posted. Anyway- when I called them, they didn't took any responsibility, asked me to come back to the shop (although I told them few times that I live in NM and not in LA). Today, my wife and I came into the store and began looking at luggage for our upcoming trip. The store was a little busy, and they had one employee that was helping everyone. That is when we met Uresh. From the moment he approached us and introduced himself, he was very kind and polite, he wasn't pushy and we did not feel like he was trying just to sell us something. His professionalism and the way he took his time explaining everything to us was unheard of. Even though we were taking longer than others and there were many other customers in the store, Uresh was very patient and kind towards us. We did not feel rushed and actually felt like he truly wanted to help us. My wife even said, when he talks to you, you feel like he knows you and truly cares like a parent. We were unable to make a decision between multiple sets, and Uresh told us that he will set them aside and we will be able to get some coffee and walk around to take more time to make our decision before buying our luggage. That was truly something unexpected from a sales person, and honestly it was greatly appreciated. We ended up coming back and purchasing a set; and even afterwards, he spent his time going over warranty information and how we need to register everything. He was truly the best sales person I have ever encountered and this is coming from a person who has been in sales for over 25 years. Would give this place 0 stars if I could. Came in to replace my daughters suitcase that was broken. She used it 3 times and a zipper broke. Samsonite claims to have a warranty and I have been advised to take it to company store. The first time I came, the store attendant told me to take the suitcase to the repair shop in Woodland Hills. Did that. When time came to pick up we tested the repaired zipper and it was broken still. The shop advised they would ship it to factory for repairs. The factory advised us they could not fix it and will send us a replacement. So far so good. Replacement came and it was not the same type of suitcase. It was smaller, not expandable, not scratch resistant and with single wheels. My wife contacted the factory and we were advised to take the replacement to the store and pick something there. When I arrived at the store the attendant explained to me that if I wanted a suitcase similar to the one that was broke after 3 uses, I would have to pay $90. When I attempted to explain to her that at this rate I would rather buy a piece of real luggage, like Briggs & Rilley with life time warranty, she got upset with me. I told the attendant that I do not need a replacement suit case factory sent me and wish to turn it in, she refused to accept it, even though it was still in the box. When I asked to know her name, she refused. Then she informed me that she felt I was rude and offensive and she asked me to leave the store. So there it is. Not only their products are overpriced for the quality you get, the customer service and run around you get is pathetic. Do not buy anything at this store and avoid Samsonite. Buy brands that stand by their products. read more

A Murse, A Murse.. I have a Murse! aaah yeah! Yup, I have a murse. My murse goes everywhere with me. He carries my necessities such as laptop, wallet, keys, cell phone, samsung etc.. His name is Fred. I feel bad for the previous poster. I had the opposite treatment. My Samsonite associate did not fit the description either. I explained what I was looking for and I was told about the deals they had. I had looked up similar bags on the internet the previous night and the most reasonable I found was over $200. I was told I could try out the bags and even place my belongings inside, including my laptop. My buddy and I were also given a large table to sort the bags. I did this for about an hour and made a huge mess. I ended up picking out one and, of course, picked up after myself. Leather Carrying Bag-4 Stars! I just searched on the internet for a whopping five minutes. The cheapest I found (identical) was for $280. The one I chose was marked with a "suggested price" of $300, marked down to $129, and I was then told there was an extra $20% off. Wow. Super nice bag and I am a fan. I am so a fan of this place. Very handsome and elegant murse while being sturdy. A very well thought out design with many zippers and compartments made ideal for your personal belongings and keeping things organized! Two words, HORRIBLE SERVICE. Especially the women and an oblivious assistant manager. Bought my product, felt so so disrespected; therefore, went back and returned the product, AND surprise surprise was disrespected again. First, as we entered the store there was no greetings from the employees, not a big deal. When we had a couple of questions about a product all three of the employees in the store seemed very annoyed and was unwilling to answer the questions. The assistant manager was right next to us when one of the employee was checking us out. The employee very rudely placed our item in the bag, and left it for ourselves to reach by the cash register to lift the item we purchased which was a rolling business bag. After feeling terribly demeaned, I went back to let the employee know that we felt that her attitude was not appropriate. She then replied, "okay." with a very heavy tone of attitude. Mind you, the assistant manager was standing right there when all of this happened. After Leaving the store in terrible anger, I turned back to return the item. I would be stupid to spend my hard Earned money and be treated like crap. Addressing the problem with the assistant manager, he replied, "I did not seen anything, I am sure that she did not mean anything. I am sorry." The apology was not sincere and there was no attempt to keep me from returning the product. The worse part of everything was that the employee who provided the horrendous service just stood there as if she did nothing wrong and did not apologize. Don't buy samsonite expecting any warranty. I tried to claim one when the corner of my 320.00 hard case luggage was dented (not by me but during a flight experience) it looked like a sledge hammer was taken to it. And the latches don't work right. After several attempts at help I was directed to a "warranty" dealer 25 miles away. He said that he would send it in to samsonite, but they don't cover airline damages. Think about that one for a minute..........where else would damage occur??? read more

Talk about Customer Satisfaction! Since traveling more than ever, I had become accustomed to the fact that luggage gets damaged and it was easier to buy new luggage than the hassle of getting it repaired. However, when the wheel snapped off of my Samsonite suitcase, I thought I'd try to get it repaired. The shoe repair man said that he was not able to, so I contacted Samsonite. They told me to bring it to The Citadel Samsonite store. I brought it in, told them that I purchased it at Macy's, but that I couldn't remember exactly when. They didn't ask for a receipt, or need any paperwork. They told me that their repair shop would contact me once it was repaired. I was expecting to go pick it up, but they shipped it to me!! Unbelievable, they repaired it with a new wheel & shipped it as no expense to me!!! I'm sold. It's Samsonite from now on. Thank you Samsonite! Customer for life! read more

DO NOT BUY ANY MOLDED SAMSONITE SUITCASES!!!! Samsonit will not stand behind this suitcase. I bought 2 from Costco and used them about 4-6 times and I have to struggle to close it when I have packed.
