Happened to be at the store at the right time and bought a crossbody for travel on sale. Used it in Berlin and found the bag very useful: multiple pockets inside and outside, sturdy and strong magnet in the flap. Bought a Fanny pack but I haven't used yet. Loved that you can customize your bags with the free embossed tag. On a second occasion, bought a packable backpack on sale. Can't wait to use it. I like bringing an extra packable bag in my travels in case I need more space for souvenirs. The padlocks were on sale, two for $20. Been using one daily at work. Love the ease of using it. Thought it would be handy to have a passport holder around my neck at the airport, so I bought one as well. On a third occasion, I bought a small cellphone charger for travel. I still have yet to use it and find out how long it can last. Service? Very satisfied. Elizabeth was awesome. Another lady helped me set up my code for my padlocks. She was very helpful. Park near Michael Kors. That would be the closest parking. Tumi is behind it in that area. Came here to get a travel duffle but I left with a tote, a backpack, and a crossbody! The store was well kept and Carol was the associate that helped me. I could not make up my mind for the life of me. It's hard choosing a bag! She was so sweet and patient with me. Anything I wanted to see, she would bring it down and take out all the stuffing to show me the pockets. Then she would put it on a luggage so I can see how it looked attached to my carryon. I even asked her to try on a backpack for me so I can see how it looked on someone else and she went with it. I'm glad she did because when I saw it on her, it look so cute that I had to get it. She even chatted with my Daughter as I was wondering through the store. The store had some sales going on. From 25% off to 50% depending on what you were interested in. They had so many selections of really nice luggages, totes, travel accessories, wallets, sunglasses and other stuff. I love Tumi. There is close to none after sales service. I was given the run around when asked about the 5 year warranty on my V3 roller bag. I purchased my bag in Oct 2019 and since I'm out of the 12 months "worry free" warranty I was told I'm screwed. You know it'd be nice if I even got a courtesy credit towards buying another piece of luggage. You don't need to treat your loyal customers all nasty. I'm totally disappointed and will never recommend Tumi to anyone. A little empathy for a customer and a bag whose seen 2 trips during COVID19 will go a long way. I've got one Tumi travel bag that has gone though many trips domestically and internationally. It's been a handy bag to carry all the necessary travel needs, like my wallet, passports, etc. So I walked into this store looking for a backpack. As I peeked through the window, a few backpacks caught my eye. Knowing that I'm on a tight budget at the moment, I walked in to take a gander at the prices. As I suspected, their prices still reflect the quality of the merchandise they have. I still walked through the store to check out the other selections, but couldn't justify the need for.some bags I thought were good to have as well as was a good deal. read more

Parking is difficult at this outdoor mall of stores. The directory is difficult to read without east west north and south of indicators. Upon entering the store it is a small space, very clean neat and well organized. I had a piece of luggage destroyed by an airline yesterday and needed a new garment bag for a trip the next day. Wendy P., the Assistant Manager came over to assist me after another young lady helped educate me on weight & capacity of the bags. Both were professional and courteous, Wendy has excellent product knowledge and double checked all the pricing to make sure I captured all the savings. I purchased a garment bag and a Bluetooth bag tracker. The staff even cleaned my bag with their recommended fabrics cleaner. This is the only store I have ever shopped at that will not let you return merchandise with a receipt. The sales girl explained that the receipt states this fact so I try to explain I got the receipt after the purchase was completed. And even then, the sales associate did not mention the policy. So she then tried to show me the little sign by the register behind all the crap that was on the counter after she cleared the stuff. I told her most stores will return merchandise that has been unused with the original receipt but she continues to argue with me that not all stores follow that policy. Yeah, not all stores meaning only this store! I will never shop at a store that deceives its clientele and argues with paying customers so they don't have to return money. This store and staff really do not have satisfactory customer service. Even tumi's website will return merchandise for a full refund. read more

I have shopped here on numerous occasions, but it was my visit this week that prompted this review. Pros: 1) The return process was very easy. I returned a crossbody bag, which I bought two weeks ago and was an impulse buy. I never used it, so I kept all of the protective padding on it. I gave the associate my receipt and processed the return with no questions asked. 2) The sales associate who helped me was great. I told him that I had my eye on a carry-on piece in black that is only available through full retail stores. Even though I knew it wasn't on sale, he checked the website for me anyway. I asked him if it would be cheaper to buy it in Hong Kong since there's no sales tax there. He gave me examples of how much more TUMI bags are in China, so his piece of advice was to buy it here stateside. I asked him why some of the items in the store were not available at all online, and he clarified that some of the items are made only for the outlet stores. This explains why an internet search turns up nothing for some items. He also said that these special outlet items may not have as many fine details (stitching, finishes) than the full retail items. So the outlet items that you can find online are either from the previous seasons or are discounted non-black versions. Cons: 1) I went in on a Monday evening. The store was relatively empty and even when I was the only one there, the sales associates left me alone. Maybe it's because they knew I had a return to make? It's very unusual for TUMI sales associates not to say hello even when it's busy. This doesn't lower my rating because when I was ready for help, the sales associate was very helpful. 2) I regret not getting the associate's name! Summary: When I'm at the Citadel Outlets, I always visit TUMI even if it's just to browse. I appreciated the extra help during my last visit, and as thanks I'm writing this review. :-) read more

I am giving this Tumi outlet location highest artist because of the wonderful service that I received. I needed a new suitcase because my husband and I are down to only one between the two of us. Truthfully I wanted another Briggs & Riley that is the only brand I've been using for the last 10 years. However they rarely go on sale and it's just after Christmas. So I popped in to this location as well as a couple of other luggage shops at the citadel. In truth we've looked at luggage all over Los Angeles in the last month. It was a service that prompted us to purchase from this location. We weren't actually going to buy that day but the sales gal told us she will put one of the items we were looking at on hold for us as a courtesy. Within minutes of leaving the store my husband said, "when are we going to be back here? Let's just go get the suitcase it's a good deal and she was so nice." We walked back in and he purchased the bag on the spot. Even on the way home my husband said I love your bag and it feels good to buy something I'm a good person. I was a loyal customer and recommended Tumi to everyone but not anymore. I would have paid for the repair on my backpack. I know it's out of warranty but wasn't given any options. I Was told I can get a credit towards a new item. Not the response I was looking for after waiting two months for an answer. Repairs are simple and figured a company like Tumi should have no problem.
