I stopped by today to save money assuming it was a closeout liquidation store. It was not. Everything looked regular price (mind you all items are marked with a marker & most of the items have damaged packaging). I wanted to purchase some toys but they were priced out as the same price online. When I talked to a lady who worked there, I told her if she can give it to me at a cheaper price. She said no because she researched the item online when pricing it out. According to her, she had marked it 50% off of the online price. When I told her to google it, she looked it up on eBay and was showing me prices that other sellers had. She used the price of the most expensive seller to mark the item off. Mind you this toy was the same price in Target as they were selling it as. I did not want to argue with her so I left empty-handed and annoyed. If you are looking for deals. This is not the place. Everything is old and has damaged packaging. They want you to pay full retail price for these items. This is not a liquidation store. If you want to save money you are better off buying stuff on Ross or Marshalls (like me, which is where I ended up buying the toys). Also, the warehouse is so tiny and disorganize. It is a safety hazard entering that place. I'm not sure why they are not following OSHA guidelines. You have to be very careful walking in the back. In addition, it seems like they are overstocked on so many items especially old items. I mean at the prices they have everything there I am not surprised. They really need to re-evaluate their business plan or at least change their name in order to avoid misleading customers. read more

This place absolutely sucks. Lured me from offer up with an ad stating the item was $89 and got me for $150. I wouldnt have bought the item because I needed it there and then for work. The place is filthy and trashy. The lady had the nerve to insult me because a clump of garbage was stuck to the item, so I took it off and threw it in a bucket. "What are you doing you're making a mess?!" You must be freakin joking. Do not go here unless you're a masochist who likes being abused and taken advantage of. All their ads are BS. read more

What a mess! Mostly store returns nothing special. Looked like goodwill with store prices. Don't bother it's not worth the wait to park! Not sure what people were buying here. I mean I walked through every isle and walked right out too messy for me..The only thing that might be worth it here maybe clothes and shoes? Anyway you have been warned. read more

Their prices are above the original manufacture prices! Not the "up to 50 to 80% lower" they advertise. What a disappointment. Obviously I didn't check every item, but I'd recently purchased a few items they had in stock.... at a much lower cost. On a positive note...... they do have a very wide range of inventory. read more

I love a good bargain and as long as you are patient and have the time to look through the huge warehouse and then time to wait in line, then this place is for you. Today I bought my husband 3 target brand dress shirts and cardigans. Total price for these 6 items was $30. Regular price would have been $120. Of course I wasn't there to shop for him, I was actually there looking for baby clothes, but when you spot a bargain like that you just have to pounce! read more

If you are driving here, STOP! They are no longer a discount store. Several months ago their prices went up to retail or ABOVE RETAIL PRICES. I had to show them that they were more expensive than Home Depot then they offered $2 off of the $10. If you compare prices with your smart phone, you'll realize that they are the same price as retail stores like Target, Walmart, or Lowe's. Just check their prices with apps like Shop Savy or Redlaser. The worst part is their items are returned, damaged, and/or expiring merchandise and they charge full price for most of them! Buyer beware!! Also, watch the lady at the register. She will charge you more for an item if you are not paying attention! I always had to confirm my items and several times I had to point out she over charged me. Funny she never seemed to under charged me. So do yourself a favor, save your gas and go elsewhere. You'll get a better, newer product for the same price at the retail stores or Costco. read more

This place has really good prices, and as E-Commerce seller I have been able to make good money out of this store...but the old lady who works there has a penchant for following me around as if I'm trying to steal, or not acknowledging me as if I'm not in there every week buying products...today she even tried to skip someone ahead of me in line as I was standing there! Now, if you are looking for comfort, organization and cleanliness you will not find it here. Any deal you get you will work for, as in trudging through slim aisles, digging in shelves and doing all this in a warehouse that easily boasts 100+ temperatures with fans going. Will I go again? Probably, but hopefully on an overcast day. Did I find deals? Yes, but I am still not certain it's worth driving outside 10+ miles for unless you are already in the neighborhood. Costco meets the swap meet. Come here and you'll find a little of everything--from home and gardening items, clothing and shoes, packaged food, toys, gift wrap, personal hygiene, etc. Be prepared to get dirty (literally) as part of the store is outdoors and the items are dusty. Plus, employees are wheeling out new merchandise constantly. Some items are steeply discounted (ie-sweat pants for 2.99, with original Kohl's tag listing original price $26), Columbia Zip Down Fleece sweatshirt 9.99 (original $60), Mop 3.99 (original 12.99), bed, bath and beyond comforter set $20 (original $40), Shoes for $5. Overall, more reasonable prices than Mary and Rafa's Discount nearby. If you live close by, definitely worth visiting. Other Recommendations -Dont take young kids. The aisles are narrow and there are open, exposed boxes of all size items everywhere. Plus, part of the store is in an open warehouse, and you have to walk up stairs, with no side rails, to get in. -Dress Comfortably. Wear tennis shoes. The store is on a gravel lot and in a warehouse. As mentioned, it's also very dusty. -Bargain! A price was not listed on an item. When I took it to check out, I asked the cashier to give it to me for a lower price than she mentioned, and she gave it to me for the price I asked for! -There is no designated parking lot. Since the warehouse is in a cul de sac, and the streets are wide, you can park in front of the warehouse. -On your drive in, you'll notice another large discount warehouse with odds and ends that is also open on weekends (every weekend). California Closeouts by far has more variety than this other warehouse, but if you're visiting CC, it's worth checking this other warehouse out. Finally, they are ONLY OPEN THE FIRST WEEKEND OF EACH MONTH. Confirm dates on website. Happy discount shopping! read more

Yeah this was my secret place for the longest time. I sometimes buy in bulk, other times to remodel something. Other times just looking, but I always leave buying something. Whether it's a bath tub or a case of pasta, or some wood trims or window covering, there are lots of odds and ends to be found. Oh, about the other closeout opening up, they are closed now. What you may or may not find is alway by chance. It not like they stock things regularly. It's all liquidated stuff from freight damaged companies. So you never know what the next load brings in. Here a small list of what I have bought. Fancy high end double glass front entry doors, bath tubs, shower enclosures, white boards, scooters, standup paddle board, kayak (not really, it's always sold by the time I get there) lots of dry pasta, lot of canned food, powered drink mixes (margarita, coco, lemonade, punch, etc), shoe, wiper blades, sinks, vanity, bandages, shampoo, conditioner, booms, racks, weed killer, polish, duck tape, shut-off valves, cream burel kit, compressor, tools, hardwood floors, air conditioners, screen doors, and the list goes on. Of course like any place when looking for a good deal, you better know your price. I have paid more than I should have on a few occasions but I believe I am still way ahead. Oh, not sure what gravel lot one post said, but their lots is paved. During their 3x a year big weekend sales, parking is the worst. Although I don't see any difference in pricing. If you know your prices and are willing to come back a few times you'll get some great bargains on salvaged stock. The inventory varies so much and changes daily that it's impossible to tell what they'll have on hand at any time. They buy damaged or unclaimed stock from shippers and auction sights so you can expect to see anything from canoes to pudding, clothes to printer ink, gardening supplies to surgical equipment...most at great discount. I always try to know the retail price of an item before I get it and I'm always leaving with more that I planned to get. It is tight quarters and some times dusty but they do tend to try and keep it clean and sorted ....I've been to several of these types of stores and they can get hectic, but hey, just roll with it to get good bargains. The owners are nice but busy so can be a little brisk if they are handling several customers at the same time. The main thing... KNOW YOUR PRICES! read more

I used to go weekly religiously because of the low prices. Sometimes the prices were marked so low the sales ladies ringing up my purchases would complain to the manager. I guess the manager heeded their advice, because on most items I can find the product for less somewhere else. read more
