Finally made my first trip to Five Below and I totally get the hype now. I've been seeing all the cute finds on Instagram for a while, so I was genuinely excited to check it out. My boyfriend brought me and I'm not even kidding I felt like a kid again walking through every aisle. There's something fun to look at in every single section. They had the cutest themed items featuring Hello Kitty, Spider-Man, Strawberry Shortcake, Bluey, SpongeBob SquarePants, and even some fun Diet Coke merch. As a huge Cinnamoroll fan, I scored the cutest little remote control roller skate car toy for just $7. It's not just toys either. They have home décor, car accessories, pet items, clothes, unique snacks, and so many random, fun finds at really affordable prices. I can definitely see why this would be such a fun spot to shop with kids -- but honestly, it's just as fun as an adult. I didn't interact much with staff, but the store felt organized for the most part and easy to browse. Overall, it was such a nostalgic, budget-friendly shopping trip and I'll definitely be back to see what new goodies pop up. read more

I went on a Sunday morning and it was open so I stopped in. It's a basic discount store. It has various different products. People working there were all nice and the store was pretty clean. The selection was varied and had mainly balloons, art/ crafts and make up. And of course candy :) all seemed to be priced 5$ and below like the name suggests:) A Lot of these store are Going out of business, it's nice to see One that well Stocked and busy! read more

Great place with a broad assortment of products at a low cost. I love looking at the wall of thrifts, they have funny designs sometimes. There are a lot of skin/hair/makeup/fragrance dupes. My goto spot for newer squishmallows! Lots of availability and the worker Jazmin is awesome! All smiles and remembers us. She makes each visit a joy to go treasure hunting. It is unfortunate that companies over all are moving towards self check out. We come to shop not to work. Although I enjoy shopping at Five Below, I don't enjoy working there (Checking myself out). There were a couple of occasions when the young lady working was amazing and asked if I would like her to assist in checking me out, that made all the difference. Rather than seeing 2 or 3 employees on their phone standing around while I have to check myself out. Every owner runs their company they way they see fit, but just take the customer into consideration and don't forget customer service is key. read more

I always like walking through this store to see what new goodies they have to offer. You can't beat the prices as they are always reasonable and the items are so unique compared to what you will usually find at other similar stores. Suspicious of this Five Below reselling stock online. They had a whole box of rare collectible figurines behind the counter and would not sell them to me claiming that they were damaged goods. From my observation they looked fine. I believe the employees are pulling from the shelves and reselling them online. read more

Absolute worst Five Below around. The customer service here is totally awful and the store is a mess. Not even exaggerating. This location has 10 self checkouts but the kids working had all of them turned off and were using only the main register, despite the store being crowded on a Thursday evening. Two people were waiting at the one register to be helped and we got on the usual line to check out, but the girl sitting on the floor sorting through returns looked at us and said the line forms that way, pointing away from the checkout and towards the main entrance. Didn't make any sense but OK. She then for some reason immediately opened two self checkout registers and started ringing up the people behind us. What? And not just them but her and another employee that appeared from the back rung up about 10 or 11 people, all while we and the other people in front of us were still waiting to be helped! Hello, you put us over on this line! Nobody working in this place used any common sense here. She could have easily realized her mistake and corrected it by bringing us back to the self checkout register or turned on an other one, or one of twenty solutions, but she and the other two employees did nothing... And now every single one of those people getting quickly checked out had to navigate around us to exit! Not fun. This should be a quick fun place to grab some discounted candy, yet the terrible employees at this location ruined the whole trip to the store. read more

I always enjoying coming to five below, they have a lot of things in the store and for really cheap. The name says it all, everything in the store is $5 or less. You can find a variety of items such as school supplies, party supplies,games,snacks, books, beauty supplies and even shirts. I always go in for one item and end up leaving with more things some that I don't even need but I just like. I came in a Saturday and the store was somewhat empty. There were a few families with their kids getting snacks and swimming supplies to go to the beach. The line was not long at all and they only had two registers open. I would come again to this location. Parking: they have a big lot that they share with the rest of the stores in the plaza. It's always easy to find parking. read more

Ayyyyyyy! Why did I come in this store? I bought waaaay too much stuff! This store is like a mash up of a 1980's novelty/toy store and a party supply store. The best section for me was the $5 t-shirt section with vintage tee shirts such as a 1980's MTV logo shirt.They had "Golden Girls" fridge magnets! I almost died! There are also cool magnets, vintage board games, candy, and novelty items for a very low price. I actually went to this location after looking on the website for the Squishmallow Clips! They said that this was one of the stores with the Junie the Banana clip and no other stores had it. I went inside and I couldn't find it on my own! I asked one of the workers but they said that they most likely don't have them anymore if they're not out. She also said that they might be in the palette but still aren't ready to put out. Luckily, I was able to ask another worker and she brought a whole plate of them out!! This place is so awesome. I wasn't really sure what it was when I glanced over from Best Buy next door, but the array of toys outside caught my eye haha. They seriously have EVERYTHING and not the cheap junk you find at other cheap dollar stores or discount stores. This store is so huge and organized that they actually split it up into sections - seasonal, candy, workout, electronics, clothing, etc.!! We got really nice lawn chairs for five bucks, outdoor furniture decor for five bucks, wire headphones (they had gold and even rose gold headphones!!) for five bucks, YOGA MATS, a ton of workout gear, cute clothes, fashionable hats, trendy tees, sport equipment, seriously EVERYTHING for five bucks. I spent a good.. I don't know, hour, two hours in here? It's fun to browse around and see what they have. The bright colors in the store really add to the fun shopping experience! This place is seriously one of my favorite to go to store! From novelties to candies to shirts to posters to decor to board games and lots more! My friend and I literally spend 3 hours here easily! It is a mixed of modern items and also things that will take you back in time! I have not seen any of these items in other stores, it's a unique store by itself. Anyway, I easily spent $60 bucks here including a putting golf toilet game lol. It is time to test it out now haha! read more

Really fun, came here with the kids and our faces lit up when we walked in! The setup is fun, fresh, and we were greeted by the staff upon arrival. Tons of candy and toys to choose from, really diverse collection of items. Pretty fun. I liked the $5 t-shirts and the kids enjoyed playing with flash lights. I have an embarrassing story at the checkout... I coughed and some mucus came out on my arm. The cashier waited for me to rummage through my purse to get a tissue to wipe it off, then I paid for my items. Thank you, cashier! Nicest lady ever! read more

This place rocks! So everything is anywhere from $1-$5 and they have a lot of stuff. They don't have food other than candy so don't go thinking your walking out with bananas and apples but you are able to walk out with a jumbo size bag of gummy worms for $5. They have all kinds of cool stuff, even toys, clothes, work out equipment, beauty supplies, school supplies, and many more useful cool stuff. It's a neat, clean, and a fairly good size bargain store plus the employees are helpful and courteous. Parking is a non-issue because the shopping center is big with lots of other businesses (Best Buy is next door). *Recommend you buy some candy to Netflix and chill ;) read more

Next thing you know, I came out with a filled bag and minus $50 from my wallet :( Went back a couple times and I'm still OVERWHELMED every single time!! I bought a bunch of stuff, asked a bunch of questions, and had to have her fetch a body board on a really high shelf and she didn't bat an eye while making conversation with me about my weekend plans. New store. Everything below $5. Grand opening last week, and they welcomed new customers with free renewable shopping bags and five-cent hot dogs. Four stars for celebratory freebies...and festive feeling. The store is laid out in a way that promotes wandering around and browsing. The checkout is organized, and the associates were friendly. Besides the price point, the merchandise skews young (probably tweens) .... .a little bit of this and that...cell phone covers...book bags...pillows...yoga blocks and yoga mats (I just saw similar mats for twice as much at Walmart, so Below Five had the better deal)...funky back massagers.....makeup...off-brand toys...knick-knack stuff that would appeal to kids. The primary customer wants to save money, but probably will find more selection at 99 cent or Dollar Store...if they are going for the Daiso shopper, then they have to upscale the cute factor of their merchandise and focus on unusual better-made gift items...still it was fun to go on the Grand Opening... PRO: I did find a Wet n Wild lipstick (99 cents here and also at CVS)...ALSO I did an impulse buy as I was checking out and bought a three-pack of sidewalk chalk (works great around pet food to deter ants and other insects)...I am giving four stars to Five Below because they had a favorite hard-to-find Wet n Wild lipstick color, so I bought two and essentially bought them out. Bright cheerful storefront, and the price is right, everything is $5 and under as the name implies. But there was absolutely nothing I wanted. Dozens of badminton sets and other light weight plastic games and toys. Lots of candy bars, novelty mugs, squirt guns, cheap t shirts, tacky knick knacks galore. I didn't really know what to expect but was surprised at how awesome this place is as far as discount stores go. If target had a baby sister this store would be it. Grabbed some toys for my niece and browsed around for a good 45 minutes looking at all the Knick knacks. They even have Disney, MTV, and other novelty t shirts for 5 bucks. Five Below has become one of my favorite stores. However I am very disappointed with this specific location. I arrived at 8:53pm & closing time says 9pm. One of the girls saw me walking towards the door but still proceeded to lock it. There was 7 minutes left until closing so I don't understand why they would lock the doors at 8:53 when the sign says 9pm!!!! There were 3 other guests who were behind me & just as disappointed. read more

This is one of those places I have to watch out in! It's so easy to get swept up in low prices and buy 100 bucks worth of stuff no one needs. My kids were all about this place. This place is super cool. Came here on Wednesday just to browse around and was super impressed. They basically have a wide selection ranging from $1-$5. Mostly the products are $5 but super affordable. From makeup, to snacks, to electronics and also things for your bedroom. I got some cute lanterns for my room and I love them. Also they have cool board games like monopoly for $5. Also uno cards and candles. This is probably my new favorite store when it comes to these items. Definitely recommend. Five below is a newly opened store that sells merchandise $5 and below. It's a very cute and trendy store they sell phone covers, phone accessories,makeup, clothes, home decor, workout stuff, snacks, toys etc. I enjoy coming here and finding new and cute items. Staff is friendly, helpful and fast. I'm a huge fan of their makeup products and fashion accessories. They even sell wet n wild products. A disadvantage of this store is that they don't have shopping carts which is difficult when you have a wild toddler who doesn't stay still, so I usually come without her. Every time I come I look for a Bluetooth speaker for my daughter but each time I come they don't have it in stock. I know they have an online site and they have the speaker there so I'll probably try my luck on there. Overall, I'll continue shopping here and hope they get shopping carts soon. read more

Cool new store in Montebello, it's like a 99cent store. But everything inside here is $5 or less, they got slot of random/cool things that you wouldn't believe are only $5. They also have a wall of shirts that are pretty neat, similar to the funny shirts Walmart sells, but these are only$5/each. They got 2/$1 on bottles water, always get that. read more
