We asked her for help with the rugs, and she said we needed to look it up online ourselves. Then she proceeded to chastise us for carrying the rug to the front of the store without asking permission. They advertised mini blinds in the size that I needed. I went there and the help was unknowlegable and rude. Sold me a different product that was supposed to fit and assured me that it was complete. The blind was wrapped but the hardware kit was missing. I didn't discover that until I tried to install it and the directions indicated that metal brackets were required to hold the blinds to the window frame. ZERO STARS! Reseller of damaged/returned items from Costco and Home Depot. I was interested in a sectional couch. They told me it had no damage and all the electrical recliners worked. I confirmed there was no visible damage but did not confirm the operation of the recliners as I was in a hurry. That was my bad as 2 of the recliners i found out, do not work. Once I unwrapped the couch at my house, I found a large tear on one of the backrests. Also one of the USB ports is damaged. I also did not get much of a discount from the store price as I thought it was a much more expensive model. After closer inspection at my house, I found this couch to be heavily used for a fair amount of time and was returned after it started failing. I feel so taken by these foreigners that do not speak good English and don't care about customer service. There is a good reason why they don't do returns or refunds. They know they're selling junk at high prices and customers will be back because of hidden or undisclosed damage. But once they have your money, consider it gone without any resolution. read more

The picture of the dolly was also in the advertisement. However, when we got there they wanted to charge $89 for the dolly. Then they said the dolly that was $19 was this really small dolly that wasn't convertible. Not what the advertisement said. They blamed the temporary employee for placing the wrong ad. This company has been in business for years and you are telling me that temporary employees know how to advertise correctly. This was clearly a bait and switch situation. Yes that is correct nothing has a price so you are subject to whoever you speak to and the mood they are in!!!! This is not just my opinion, this after consulting with another customer who seemed like a regular and getting some tips. The so called manager of the day gave us overly inflated prices for a "Costco" rug that she claimed was 50% off The retail price....I could not find anything at that price point on their site nor have I seen anything like that at their warehouses. They do not honor advertised prices, even when I show them their own ad. I don't know how they pay their rent or to keep their lights on. The only other "customers" there and I made eye contact a few times with the same look on out faces like "what the ef is the place?" do not buy forklifts from here. you will lose time, money and will not get what you were promised. i realized my mistake when i decided to look into this company because i was having issues with getting a forklift i already paid for. they said it would be ready on a wednesday 4 weeks ago. they provided me with a temporary forklift that does not work and took my forklift as a trade in. it has been a month and i still have yet to see the forklift that i was promised. i have asked for the original forklift i traded in back and my $10,000 that i paid up front and nothing. they don't accept checks or debit/credit cards only cash or zelle that way when they do not keep their end of the deal, you can't recall your money. stay very far away from them. they are bad business. read more

Found them on OfferUp. Looking for a specific item. They said they had it. I get there and the only one visible at first is destroyed. So I checked the rest of the warehouse out. It can't all be this messy and destroyed. I can't say how many items are destroyed beyond use but I'd wager it's the majority of items. The sales person was trying to push broken items onto people who didn't know what they were looking at. I found a better item that I was looking for but didn't have a price tag and took it up front. They asked to see the ad, I showed them. They said this was a different than that one. Long story short they finally said it was the same item but not till about 20 min later. So all in all it might be better to buy a new one down the street instead of losing your time and money. I do not recommend. Look elsewhere. read more

This location was a MESS!! Wish I had taken pictures. Merchandise everywhere. Not organized. I could barely walk through the aisles, and I wasn't able to walk through a few of the aisles. Most of the warehouse was filled with building materials. Lots of lighting, flooring, electrical and plumbing materials. There were a few couches and a few refrigerators. I was looking for an adjustable/stand up desk. I called to make sure they had the desk and they said, 'Yes'. But when I got there the 2 desks that were available were visibly broken, and or missing parts. Hi, new homeowner here and a forever customer of Buildland. This place has it all and it does not break the bank! Highly, highly recommend to anyone interested in getting a little something or a big something for their home. My husband and I first stopped by in November 2021 not expecting to buy anything and really just mainly there to scope the place out due to the not so positive reviews. That same day we left with a champagne colored washer and dryer along with a bed frame. We threw them in the back of the truck stoked on the deal we got & off we went with our new appliances. We knew that these appliances had been returned from Costco bks at the time of purchase they both had return slips, reason for return you ask? "Customer changed her mind after the installation". Yep that's it. Nothing wrong with them except that the customer didn't seem to like how they looked & bks Costco doesn't put these items back on their shelf they went to Buildland Liquidation. Instead of paying over $2k for them at Costco (yes this is what the pair costs at Costco) we got a sweet mega deal and paid nothing close to that. A couple weeks later my husband and I decided it was time for new blackout blinds so we measured all 11 windows and to our surprise found 8 of them for a fraction of the cost. 3 weeks later & after they restocked we came back and got the remainder of our blinds. Such a deal! As we approached our move in day we took another trip and spent another afternoon with Nasiba and we bought a hardwood floor vacuum, a water dispenser and a beautiful rug - again at a fraction of what they would've been at Costco or HD & all in perfect condition. Each time we visited the store, Nasiba was busy but always attentive to everyone that stepped foot inside the store. I really appreciated her not being a pushy salesperson and letting us take our time and explaining the pricing model to us. When we had questions she answered them & if we asked for tips or suggestions she had them. Seriously, she is the perfect person to run such a large warehouse and can see this place growing/thriving with her behind the counter. I will say that I noticed some people came to the store expecting things to be brand new or to have a sales person kiss their booty, let me tell you, that's 100% not happening here. This place is for the thrifty shoppers & the people willing to dig to find what they need. Seriously though, you may have to dig bks the place is packed with things but hey, happy shopping! read more
