This place sold my elderly mother a couch and an electrical reclining chair a while ago. They took advantage of the fact that she was elderly and acted as though she was senile when she called them less than a week later to let them know the frame/springs of the pull out bed in the couch was broken and that the frame of the reclining chair was broken. They acted as though she was stupid and it was just "user error". James or jim or whatever the hell your name is- you are a disgusting excuse for a human being and having the nerve to abuse and take advantage of an elderly woman who didn't have it in her to fight anyone over anything. You guys are gross people and everyone should know of your predatory sales practices. 4 grand down the drain "flexsteel" and it was NOT user error. read more

A great independent furniture store with quality products and wonderful customer service. I purchased a recliner and a reclining sofa, both La-Z-Boy and both were cheaper at Paramount Furniture than listed on the La-Z-Boy website. Delivery was free and they even took away my old couch free of charge. Greg was not a hovering sales person. He provided ample shopping time without any pressure to buy. The delivery team arrived right when Greg said they would and Chris (the delivery person doing most of the talking) was very quick and professional. The only downside is from the furniture supply side of things. Special orders are several months out. But luckily the selection in stock led me to a very comfortable recliner. I would recommend visiting Paramount Furniture based on their professionalism, fair pricing, and low pressure sales approach. read more

I'm really disappointed in this place. I drove 45 minutes on July 2nd to get there after work. And no one was there, already closed. . Paramount Furniture has a service which supplies and delivers furniture to property owners residing in Mammoth Lakes CA. We have used this business for mattresses and bed frames. Cost of the items is very reasonable and the quality the items purchased has been excellent. All of this plus the delivery service is very much appreciated. We have a family member who is a Marine currently stationed at the USMCAS, Camp Pendleton, near San Clemente, CA. This Marine had a need for a sofa. A friend of ours, who is also resident of Mammoth Lakes, wanted to replace her sofa. We told her of our family Marine who would like have the sofa and she said the Marine could have the sofa if it was possible for it to be picked up in Mammoth Lakes. It did not seem that this could happen. So, our friend contacted Jim, the owner of Paramount Furniture, who agreed he would be able to transport the sofa to his business location in Paramount following his Mammoth deliveries, provided it could be picked up at his location. We agreed to pick up the sofa and trailer it to San Clemente. When we picked up the sofa in Paramount, Jim refused to accept any compensation for his efforts to load his truck, haul it 300 miles to his store, and have his crew load our trailer. We believe he did this because he truly appreciates the value and courage of our military service members. We very much appreciated Jim's generosity and, of course, his honor of those who risk their lives to protect us. Thank you Jim! read more

splurged for a $1,000 recliner and 16 months later contacted Paramount about the fabric, which had completely worn through in several places. Was informed my year warranty period had passed, but said they would contact manufacturer to see what they could do. No return call though I called back a dozen times; each time I was promised the owner would call me. Chair looks like trash. Do not do business with this company. read more
