The wait staff made sure our order was correct while the gentleman (I believe manager/owner) helping me at the cash register was very friendly and helpful - making sure I recieved my Yelp discount. Only issue was with the bill when my Build Your Own pancake was charged more for flavored than regular buttermilk even though it was not disclaimed on the menu that flavored pancakes cost more in Build Your Own. I like this place it was clean and small and cute it reminds me of ihop long ago before they turned into a feeding ground . I ordered 2 eggs 1bacon 1toast and a 1 pancake. they charge me accordingly. The service was great and quick the eggs were ok the bacon was cold the toast a little burn.. but I do have to say that the blueberry pancakes made up for it all. They were fluffy warm and delicious. I was there this morning for breakfast. I had the "Sammy's Big Breakfast" and it was delicious. Service was great and coffee was tasty. The wait to be seated was about 20 minutes, but every other breakfast spot will have similar waits. I see some people complain about prices, but I cannot think of another restaurant of similar quality being any cheaper. I recommend this spot. read more

Well first of all the service is very slow, but that wasn't what upset me....I ordered chicken and waffles. My chicken was frozen in the middle. Very gross. They said they would put it back in the fryer but I said no thanks because I don't want food poisoning. They didn't offer the option to order something else. The owner didn't seem to care. This place used to be ihop, and its still the same concept. The food is better, specially the hash browns. The pancakes are also fluffier and tasty!! The reason I gave this place 5 stars is for the food and the service. Rocio is awesome! She's super sweet and attentive. Great service. I ordered the steak omelet and the steak was dark and tuff. As though it had been sitting and cooking for a long time. I have not been able.to digest the meal yet. We have been dying to try this place. It's a little over priced given the quality. The service was good, but the food was NOT(except for the waffles they were quite tasty). Fried Chicken is microwaved? Not crispy at ALL!!! soggy in fact.. I also ordered the chicken breast with mashed taters and buttered corn. Ummm..i got a flimsy piece of chicken breast that was DRY and I mean like hurts to swallow dry and NO FLAVOR, nothing..nada, it felt like I was eating hospital food. Place is very clean, staff is very nice and very helpful. Now, let's get to the food. The food reminds one of the ole IHOP. It is not homemade and my guess is that it is from a can or comes to the restaurant frozen. The wait for our food was 25 minutes. Portions are tiny for a big price. If you like pancakes from IHOP do not order pancakes here; they are NOT comparable. The owner and the server are very welcoming. My second time here and so far I love everything about this place. I don't need to drive 20 minutes away to go to IHOP. This review is based on one visit. I will return, but wanted to share my observations. First impression: Very clean and nicely decorated. Good job. The lobby seats are so narrow you almost fall off them. They are perfect for a five year old. Friendly wait staff. It took a while to get our order out even though it wasn't very busy. THE WORST AND WEIRDEST LEMONADE I'VE EVER HAD. NEVER AGAIN. My omelette was supposed to have ham but I couldn't find any. It also looked more like a crepe than an omelette. The flavor was very good though. The small stall in the women's bathroom is ridiculous. The stall is so small that as soon as you walk in you hit the toilet with your legs and can barely close the door. They need to enlarge the stall. It's the weirdest bathroom stall I've ever been in. Why did they do this? Bad planning/cheap? Thankfully they do have a large handicap stall as an option. Good luck on waiting for it during a rush. read more

We came here once at night...it was great. This time we came in the morning. It was much busier. The food took longer to come out which is fine. The chicken came out burnt with two of the pieces were especially small and crispy. They could have given more than a handful of fries at $10 for some fries and chicken. When brought to the attention of the server she offered to take it back and have a replacement brought out. I don't trust any restaraunt to bring out food after complaining. We will never return.
