S-L-O-W! The food is okay. I mean mediocre at best. Dining in is difficult. It's loud and it's small. Table for 4 is tight. And we're average sized people. I've even tried take-out thinking it would be better. Called ahead for a a meatball sandwich and a salad. One would think this would be decent to-go food ... nope! I arrive and they hadn't even started on my order. Once I got home the meatball sub was such a disappointment. The salad and house dressing were redeeming, tho. Tomato-eee goodness. I still prefer Bella ... I mean Napoli's (recent name change). read more

Customer service was amazing, they made you feel welcome and service was fast. Portions are big so you leave full with leftovers. Overall a great environment and great food! read more

Love their pizza. Good family, good members of the community! They get busy some days so be patient.

Sammi is great, sad their menu was reduced. Very much miss the salmon, and chicken meal I used to order. Still their pizza and love supporting local businesses. read more

This would be my second time leaving a one star review anywhere since creating my account a few years ago. I'm easy going and try to give places a chance. I just expected better taste and quality after reading all the reviews. This was the first time trying this place out and decided to order pizza for my daughters birthday. I was wanting something of better quality and was thinking this was the place. I ordered a Hawaiian pizza and chicken Alfredo. The pizza lacked flavor, the sauce was bitter, it was cold and tough to chew. As for the chicken Alfredo the chicken was extremely sour and I even called the restaurant to make sure this was the way it was supposed to taste. Apparently they cook the chicken in white wine and that is why it tasted so sour, but that sour taste was overwhelming. It was awful to the point that I had to just remove all the chicken and toss it in the trash. I think skipping the white wine could make a big difference in taste. Well the Alfredo sauce was the only thing decent tasting, yet I couldn't get over how much oil was in it. I literally used two paper towels in attempts to remove the excess oil. Even after that there was still an overwhelming amount left. It was to the point that I couldn't save it and started feeling extremely sick to my stomach. So into the trash it went because not even my husband who has an iron stomach could handle eating it. I seriously had higher hopes for this place. The pictures of the food looked amazing and I believed this might of been our restaurant of choice when we were in the mood for Italian. I don't like leaving these types of reviews, but the food was that bad I felt it was necessary. read more

It was first time for me to go pizza getti . My Doughter's teacher was talk about this place to my girl. Spaghetti on Pizza??? ...? Never heard about it n I don't know about that.... That was first inflation. (We just moved from SoCal). It took long time to decide to try it out. But now I feel like I was missing this great place for long time. I should've tried soon as I heard about it. It was very good over all. Service was good, welcoming, at home space and food was delicious !!! Waitless gave pizza dough for my kids to play soon as we got seated with my permission. I could go thru menu without rushing or disturbied by kids craziness. Thank you!!! Cream de jalapeño soup was excellent ! My kids enjoyed Fried spinach from my plate. I have to take my husband next time and I wanna try other dishes. This place is good for family and date dinner spot!!! I'll be back really soon!!! read more

Okay Samee's pizza has ALWAYS been my favorite pizza. But, we usually go to another local place for our pasta dishes and we have for 20 years. Well yesterday we ordered Chicken Champagne and Chicken Parmigiana to be delivered and oh my goodness, we will never go to that other place again! Far better quality in sauces and meat. I even wanted the left overs for breakfast this morning! Of course you always have that family atmosphere and amazing customer service whether you eat restaurant side, bar side or calling in for delivery. You have to try this place, you won't be disappointed! read more

We recently moved to Rockwall and are slowly trying all of the pizza joints to see what we like the best . We dined in after Church one Sunday. I got a small pizza, my wife got tortellini and my daughter got spaghetti. I thought the pizza was awesome, and I had tried my daughters spaghetti, which had a good marinara meat sauce, but my wife's dish was not good to me at all. She could not eat it because it was too spicy, so I tried it and agreed, but the amount of bell pepper floored me who cannot stand the pepper. The wife liked the flavor, but the heat was too much to her, in the end it is a matter of taste. Without a doubt I will return for the pizza so far I have enjoyed theirs the best. Another thing to mention is that I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff. Maybe it was that the shifts just started, but from the door to the table and back again all of the employees were welcoming. read more

Great service, great food and great people! All for an extremely affordable price!! We went out to dinner tonight here and it was fantastic! From the fresh salad to the Garlic bread and the spaghetti with italian sausage it was wonderful! The staff was prompt and the owner came around and welcomed us and asked how everything was. Was very impressed with this restaurant and I will be definitely coming back again! read more

This pizza was really good! The crust was good and the toppings were perfect. Our server was really good and took care of us also. The only thing was the bar area chairs need to be repaired. Some of them are very unstable and it felt like I was about to fall out of them. read more

We decided to try this place since it got rave reviews on Facebook. Well we weren't disappointed. Son had fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. He inhaled it. I had the spaghetti primavera with pink vodka sauce. Delish! We are going to try the pizza next time. Smelled amazing. read more

One of our frequent go to places. Our favorite dish is the Chicken Champagne, it is so good! Love the Baked ziti, poblano soup and the pizza as well. Samee is seriously the nicest guy and is often walking around greeting folks, we have been lucky to chat with him many times. Staff is friendly and food is great, and all Samee does for the community is a bonus. We will be back time and time again! Best family restaurant in town. My kids love samee the "pizza man". They run up to give him hugs. The service is only surpassed by the amazing food. You can try either the restaurant or the bar side if you like sports. read more

Decent place to order food. The owner is friendly and wants to make sure you're ok and that the game that you want on. We always watch the Broncos and he is aware of that. The service is usually good, but sometimes they could get in the weeds and it's slower. That's understandable I guess. They bread Sammy makes is great because of the butter and salt. It's more old school bread which I like. I like the spaghetti with sausage because the sausage is flavorful. The pizza could be better though. It taste like a cracker crust, but I am somewhat of a pizza snob. Edit: That was nice what you did to that kid at Taco Casa. read more

Very friendly place! Great neighborhood bar and restaurant. Nice prices. Cool in the summer heat.

Always good service, as well as sweet, nice, and heartfelt accommodations at Samee's..

Samee's is our favorite. We are always excited to bring anyone we can here and share our amazing experience with the phenomenal food and very sweet and personable owner who clearly truly cares about his restaurant, his employees, and of course his customers. My husband and I have brought both our parents here (mine are from Albuquerque) and numerous friends. Samee always comes over and says hello and makes my kids feel special. We have moved out of Rockwall, but always make sure to visit Samee's every time we visit! We've even made a couple special trips just to come and eat here. Cannot say enough about this wonderful establishment and incredible owner. read more

Samee's Pizza Getti - We got pepperoni pizza with jalapeños and extra cheese and a glass of wine - Pizza Near Me - Rockwall, Texas

We came here for a lunch date pizza me and my sweetie. We had two seating choices, the happy room where the bar and adults are and the quiet room for families. We sat in the happy room. Tiffany and Courtney waited on us. They were very nice and had lots of smiles. The were two of the most pleasantly great team we have met lately at new places. They made suggestions on wine, beer and of course pizza. Pizza came out perfect. The 4 stars are no reflexion on the team at the place. It was on the management. She walk and spoke to the regulars but not the new people there trying this place out. If you come out and ask how everything is going, talk to the new folks. They have live music on some Fridays and Saturdays. read more

Was looking for a place where my girls would like to eat and came across this pizza place. Finding it was no problem. Went in and saw a line. At first I asked my girls "there is a line, want to wait?" but I figured it was Friday and it would be like this everywhere so we went in and put our name on the list. Waited about 30 minutes and I must say this place was well worth the wait. I would give everything 5 stars from the service to the food. Wow, this place is doing it right. I ordered a medium meat lovers pizza and it was really good. Paired that with a Shiner and forget about it. Our waitress was not only knowledgeable but she was very helpful with not only answering our questions but also suggested things to get like the soup which I will saw was amazing. Find yourself on this part of town and come in for a bite. Never going anywhere else for Italian when I'm within a 20 mile radius of this place. read more

Everything on the menu is very good. The owner Samee is extremely hospitable and comes by personally to make sure that everyone is being taken care of. The wait staff are quick and attentive, often bringing refills just before you finish the drink you've already got. My first time here I had the filet mignon. I know what you're thinking, "Filet at an italian restaurant?" but it was suggested to me by several of my close friends. The filet was very tender and cooked just right, but it could have used a tad more salt for my taste. However, it came with a white wine marsala sauce (which I ordered on the side) which makes up for the flavor in the steak. Obviously this is how it is meant to be served, with the sauce. If you get the steak without the sauce you won't experience the full flavor. The augratin potatoes that come with the steak are very good too. I've also had the chicken parm (one of my fav italian dishes) and it was very good. The chicken was fresh and juicy (unlike some places where it was obviously frozen) and the marinara sauce was spot on. I opted for fettucini alfredo instead of marinara alfredo and it was rich, creamy, delicious. I am looking forward to going back and trying the fettucini alfredo with chicken or shrimp. Also, make sure you order cheesy bread for an appetizer, and try the soup of the day. I've had spinach, cauliflower, and jalapeno soups... every one has been fantastic! read more

You are making a mistake if you don't give Samee's a try - hardest working owner you will ever see - and it shows in the service and food Super friendly staff - food is the best you will taste and without the 5 star price Never had a bad meal there And if you like college football or NFL not a better place in DFW to watch the games Keep up the great work Sammy !! read more

2nd visit - just had a pizza (meat lovers) but it was worth the short wait. Excellent service and great food!

If you haven't tried Samee's you're doing yourself a disservice!! I've been a customer of his before he even opened this place up. Ive tried almost everything on his menu & have never been disappointed! Service ALWAYS top notch! About a month ago we ordered to go food (only because of the shelter in place) & got held up because we didn't plan appropriately & was 30 minutes late picking it up. He offered to remake it!! Through no fault of his or the restaurant, or staff, offered to remake it! I told him absolutely not! We ate it in the parking lot just the way it was. And as always- DELISH!!! On top of dishing out amazing food- he has a heart the size of Texas! Always stepping up to help those in need! He blessed a LEO (Tx Tan) that was shot at the Mexican border who is a member of our family. He made life a little less scary for their children & restores the faith in humanity at the same time!!! And he's blessed countless others with his love & generosity! I will support Samee & his restaurant forever! read more

Good food, but I've never met someone as rude as Samee, the owner, in my entire life. He's argumentative, pompous and just gross. The food isn't near as good as with the previous owners several years ago. The past several times the pizza has been soggy on the bottom. And when I told him, he argued with me and hung up on me. I've seen and heard him talk to his employees in an inappropriate, derogatory and condescending manner, which is a shame because they're teenagers doing a good job. read more

I will definitely go back & dine in this cozy little restaurant. I ordered their 10 inch Pomodoro pizza to go and it was delicious! The restaurant was busy for a Friday evening & staff was very friendly. My only complaint is the women's restroom. It's a one stall room that simply does not accommodate their bustling business. I did not venture into the bar side of the restaurant, so perhaps they have another one on that side. read more
