We placed a large to-go order from Bella Napoli this past Friday (May 23rd), and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. First and most concerning--there was plastic in one of the dishes. I initially mistook it for a sun-dried tomato and actually tried to eat it. After realizing the texture was off, I unwrapped it and saw it was a whole piece of plastic. That's completely unacceptable and raises major food safety concerns. On top of that, my grandfather ordered the Penne Rosa--actually, we ordered two of them--but one came out as a completely different dish. We still have no idea what it was. It wasn't necessarily bad, but it definitely wasn't what we ordered or paid for. For the amount of money we spent on this order, the quality control and attention to detail just weren't there. We went here a few weeks ago and ordered a white Florentine pizza and a pepperoni pizza. The white Florentine looked as though someone and drop kicked it across the floor. I mean all the toppings had slid to one side and beyond that it was a soggy wet mess. It was completely inedible. This is the first time I've had to ask myself-- "Do I have to open each box of pizza at the store to make sure they're not screwing me over?" Maybe I trust too much. HOWEVER, their saving grace was that we also ordered a pepperoni pizza and that was actually fully intact and quite good. A bit greasy, but overall not bad. Good news is we've been back a second time and it seems if you stick to a simple pepperoni you can't go wrong. read more

We had ordered pizza via GrubHub a couple times but was excited to get it fresh out of the oven. Our first attempt was a Saturday night. We showed up 30 minutes before close and I was quite disappointed with how we were greeted. It was almost as if they didn't want us there so they could close down early. We decided it was a sign and left before even seated. But, we decided to give it another try. And, we were glad we did. We were meeted with such a cheerful young lady. We ordered the mozzarella sticks and had Alfredo sauce to go with the awesome bread. Our pizza was the meat lovers and it was fantastic. And huge! So glad we tried again and we will be back. Just wanted to leave a review for an amazing pasta place in rockwall, I went tonight with my husband and toddler and we both ordered pasta dishes! Incredible!!!! The garlic bread knots were the main show! So fresh and flavorful! I'm not too sure on what a review is talking about with bad customer service! All the girls were beyond sweet and helpful with any questions AND properly trained on the menu! We always come and leave satisfied! Hope this helps with anyone wondering if they should dine here! It's a solid three - nothing amazing here on the menu, but the ingredients are fresh. Salad dressings are made in-house. Staff is friendly and comes by the table often (at least on a mostly dead night). Prices are decent, and won't break the bank. read more

Husband ordered chicken parm & it was SO good. I ordered Eggplant Parm and it too was delicious. Large portions & garlic rolls were Devine Drinks - none it's BYOB which I absolutely hate and makes me never want to return unfortunately Overall - great food (have it delivered so you can enjoy it with a martini from home) skip going in Two stars just because the food should be great.. they offered nothing else to make them special. I ordered a pizza through Grub Hub and the restaurant messed up and put incorrect toppings on the pizza. They blamed Grubhub instead of taking care of the customer and owning their mistake. They offered for me to come pick up my pizza after I already paid for delivery and refused to send someone out to correct the error. A hidden gem in Rockwall! The pizza is always delicious and New York Style so it is huge! The house dressing is to die for. Tastes homemade and one of the best house dressings ive ever had. He was nasty to me twice when I went there to pick up takeout. First time he followed me around, giving me suspicious looks even to the bathroom door. If you want fresh home cooking Italian then this may be your place. It has been run by one family for at least three decades in the same location. Is it fine dining? I only give it one star because of the horrible owner. Had the WORST experience with the OWNER (according to him) of Napoli's Italian Resturant in Rockwall on 205/Goliad. I've been going there for more than a decade and have never had such a horrible experience personally. Not with the food anyway, but this time with the arrogant supposed OWNER. I went in, ordered to go, and had a wonderful conversation with the two young ladies working then the owner walked in. I got my food, walked to my vehicle with the HOT food burning my hand because they didn't put a plate under it (no problem); however, it didn't feel like I received the rolls that usually comes with the pasta. Because it was so hot, I didn't bring the food back in, but was told I HAD to by the "owner" so my hand was burning again bringing it in. He got upset when I dropped the food on the "bar" and told me not to drop MY food that I paid for that was burning my hand then didn't even give me a chance to say that before berating me like a child instead of a long-time PATRON. I checked the bag, there WERE rolls. Fine. So I asked for a plate because it was HOT. He offers more rolls and I said no, but asked again for a plate for UNDER the bag. He kept opening my bag to look. Why? There were rolls and I admitted my mistake. I only asked for a plate under it again and again. He then tells me to calm down. My HAND WAS BURNING. I told him no, I won't. Then he says to stop yelling at him. I informed him I'm a patron who's been coming here for a long time and didn't deserve him speaking to me like that. Instead he told me I was no longer welcome in his establishment and kicked me out. So, he doesn't want a Navy veteran who supports the community and volunteered to protect this country and his rights to own that restaurant. Fine, there's another Napoli's or Italian restaurant near by. I hope other veterans and patrons feel the same as me and do not patronize this establishment again. So this place isn't dynamite BUT it's solid Italian food that will leave you coming back for more. I haven't had anything bad here and I go at least twice a month. Service can be slow sometimes, but they are super friendly. House salad dressing is great. Spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna and ravioli are really good. I've had several of the chicken with white wine or cream sauce of some sort, good too. I haven't had the full blown Alfredo tho, so I can't give you the details on that. All full of flavor and good. Passing through on a Friday evening, this was the first place I found that had available parking. Service was slow but friendly. Typical menu. Nothing fancy or unique. I had the chicken Parmesan, it was hot, and tasted great. Portion was large enough that I ate on it the next day. If you want a consistent meal, this may be your place. They used to be real good, years ago. Now, not so much. The owner is rude too, when you bring it to his attention and will tell you not to come back. Not that we needed to be told, we won't be back. Too many good Italian food restaurants to waste your time with rude people that are in the service industry. My wife and I were interested to try out this "hole in the wall" location along Goliad next to a run down gas station. Inside, the restaurant was your typical lower end southern Italian place... dark lighting, worn seating, a small bar and hand painted murals on the walls. Fine with me, I come for food for pretty much any place under $20 per person. Service was average to good, no complaints really. Garlic Break was free, plentiful and filling. Had to ask for it, but she said they bring it out after your order is placed. I was hungry, so I wanted it quickly, ha. The side salad was actually really fresh and delicious, I loved the house dressing. I got a spicy chicken platter, not sure the name, its the one with jalapenos. I uploaded a picture of it you can find on the page photos. It was creamy, spicy, and unique. The owner/cook came by and made sure we liked everything. My wife got a to go box and they boxed it up for her... a nice touch of class at a place only charging $8.99 per plate on average. I was surprised by this establishment, and would return for sure.
