I don't really understand how this place receives such high scores their pizza is maybe a c- or c+ at best. I guess the town of Caddo mills having such few options must make the bar very low. I just don't understand how restaurants buy ovens that in capable of cooking pizzas good. So I'm from Chicago and I was looking for a pizza place near me or some whatnear me that could uphold the same standards as Chicago pizza. I picked this place because of the reviews, but apparently other people's opinion on how good this pizza is is not the same as in Chicago. I should've known better. To me this pizza tasted like Papa John's at best maybe even compared to dominos pizza. And pretty disappointed that is my opinion and how I like my pizza it doesn't seem like anyone cuts their pizza in square here in Texas, but I will stay on the hunt to find that pizza that is worthy sorry Mona Lisa some that may be the best pizza they ever had, but I can't say the same. read more

I ordered a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza from Mona Lisa Pizza in Caddo Mills on a busy Friday night and was extremely pleased with the quality of the pizza and its ingredients. The pizza was not too thin, not too thick, and was cooked to perfection even though the kitchen was taking constant orders. The staff was kind and quickly took care of everyone's needs. The shop was a bit busy, so I took the pizza home instead of eating in, but there are plenty of tables if you want to sit and chill out. Will definitely return! read more

We absolutely love this Place, The pizza is always amazing! The owner Joe is the nicest guy, I think he probably works like 70 hours a week, he's always there but he's always a pleasure to speak with. For those saying it's a pricey, go try buying a the same amount at any chain. We ordered 2 medium pizzas at Papa John's and they wanted $54, I think we got 2 mediums here for a little over half that price. Highly recommend the bar b que sauce pizza with any favorite topping. My wife and I visited Mona Lisa pizza four days ago and absolutely loved it. Joe, who is the owner is a fantastic pizza chef. His recipes are homemade and it shows. The pizza is the best I've had in my life and I have traveled worldwide as a pilot. I have gone back twice since that evening. I ordered over the phone, the first person we spoke to was a bit confused, but then I think the owner took the rest of our call and it worked out better after that. We ordered the Philly pizza with ground beef instead of steak (they were out of steak). We also got the Mediterranean pizza and the Chicken Alfredo with Spinach pizza. I picked up my pizza inside the store, and met Joe (I assume the owner). He was very nice and liked the cinemagraph I made from his blinking OPEN sign (screenshot attached) in front of the mural. My friends and I liked the chicken pizza and the beef pizza, but the Mediterranean pizza was lackluster. It needed something to give it zing, like maybe some green olives. read more
