We weren't too hungry so we opted for potato skins and cheese sticks and sat at the bar. Dawn was the bartender, she was great. Told us about Leonard, the restaurant and was great to chat with. We had so much fun that we came back the next night and brought the whole wedding party. I think we overwhelmed them but you'd never know by the way they all chipped in together to get everyone drinks and whatever they needed. Dawn was the bartender the second night as well. She's even more fabulous under pressure. Patient, kind and showed a lot of grace to our rowdy group. Leas, the people of Leonard and the fun Saturday karaoke added even more memories to a wonderful night. You'll know this is authentic Italian food the moment you walk in and meet Vinnie and his family. It is family owned and you won't meet a friendlier owner / chef than Vinnie! He has a huge heart and very giving! I was in line once behind a young man that was $7 shy having enough to pay for his order and Vinnie shook his hand and told him to "find someone to be nice to" :) I offered to pay what he was short and he wouldn't accept it. His reply was, "he looks like a hard working young man & it was my pleasure"! His food whether it's spaghetti or one of his super large pizzas is always top notch! The food was excellent, the service was prompt, friendly and helpful, the place was clean, well kept and well lit. It was clear when our pizza came out that it had real ingredients in it. The flavor was as close to New York that I have had since last being there. When speaking to the owner, he confirmed that it is all fresh and the best ingredients he can buy. This guy is a scam artist he has a sign that says 2 large pies 22.95 and charged 70+ for the pies and then when confronted he told me to leave and while leaving threatened to put me in the trunk of the car and kill me. Then he grabbed me took my phone and pushed me. If this site allowed videos I'd show you the crazy monster he truly is. These recent 1 star reviews are nonsense. I've been coming to this place for 10+ years and the place is outstanding. Some of the best pizza anywhere, even compared to the big city.
