I always love visiting Gzim's when I go back to my hometown to visit my Dad. Vinny runs a great pizza place, makes tasty food, & is most kind & generous. Tonight's order for my family was chicken alfredo x2, a supreme stromboli, & 2 cheesesteak sandwiches. The stromboli is sooo good, but huge, so be prepared if you get it. Best pizza I've had in years. I grew up in NJ surrounded by amazing Italian restaurants and haven't had pizza this good since I left it almost 30 years ago. The crust was perfect, delicately crispy on the outside and soft inside, the cheese high quality and just the right amount of well made sauce. We also tried the gyro wraps and they were delicious. The owner makes everything in house and his grandkids help run the place. He personally came out to check that we enjoyed our dinner. You'd think cheese = kids, but the cheese they use is so filling! We also ordered the hamburger pizza which is honestly my favorite. It's not overly greasy and a slice is covered in sausage. Not sure what the three negative reviews about him are all about but you think that it's a coincidence all three negative are all in the same time frame...think maybe he had his friends post negative also? Hmmm. Anyways this is a small town and this place has been here since my kids were in high school, going on 20 something years. If this was bad or the owner a scammer he wouldn't have lasted this long! 100% better than the dominos chain down the road. I just now saw the worker/possibly owner grabbing a customer who complained about the price they were charged for the pizza deal they have and he wasn't having it. He grabbed the kid (maybe 23ish years old) when he was recording the incident and said something like he'd put him in his trunk. Knocked his phone down and pushed him down hard. The police came but no one was arrested. As far as the food the pizza was ok but not the best I'd say even dominos or other fast food pizza is a lot better. Great pizza any time you order. Grabbed a couple of pies for a quick dinner tonight and not only are we full and happy, we have at least one more full meal. These pizzas are hard loaded despite their size, and they are not small on any scale. Two large pizzas had to have weighed 6 pounds. Loaded with cheese and meats. Not too thick crust, perfect for folding and chowing down. You have to stop and grab some if you are here. read more

Good pizza, a little on the greasy side for my liking but good pizza. When he first opened this place stayed packed. He is busy now but has also scaled back his hours. I hear the Lasagna is fabulous and I've a sandwich here which was awesome too. We had a blizzard about 8 years ago which had people sliding off the highways and being rescued by country boys in 4 wheel drive trucks, everything was closed and Gzim's should have been but wasn't.
