Stopped here just to grab a few items while in the area. Never have I ever visited a Brookshire's…read moresupermarket before. These stores are normally in rural areas. The store is very big and there's even a Walgreens pharmacy located inside as well. The staff was friendly as well.

A while back the floor Manager, Jesse give me a hard time cause I had a free coupon for one bottle of soda from Coca Cola. He acted like I printed the coupon myself. How could a gold embossed coupon from Coca Cola be fake. Coca Cola sent me 2 free coupons because I called the number on a Coca Cola soda machine when I lost my money and got no product back. I was only using one of my coupons that day and he acted suspicious about it. He took it to customer service like it was not legitimate. That was very rude and disrespectful of him when I was buying their groceries. They have no respect for customers and I know for a fact that some of their employees are not happy at all with management there. I have never seen any of the managers smile. Also their gasoline discounts are not so cheap and 7eleven or Walmart down the street can match them even after their penny discount and Kroger beats them. Avoiding Brookshire's from now on. Copy of one of my free coupons below.

As a new Farmersville resident, I just wanted to say how much I appreciate having a Brookshire's…read morenearby. We may not have a ton of grocery options out here, so it's really nice having a store that feels clean, fresh, and genuinely welcoming. Everything was stocked and fresh :) Big shoutout to Janet at checkout... patience of a saint. She helped me work through some coupon issues while also juggling helping several other customers at the same time. You can tell she really cares, and it did not go unnoticed. Thanks for letting me know about the blueberry coupon!! Also, Kevin in seafood was awesome. Just friendly, smiling, and helpful. Honestly, everybody in the store seemed happy, which makes a difference these days. And whoever was in charge of the music deserves a raise because hearing Janet Jackson's "Miss You Much" while shopping in the bread aisle really made my day. You officially have a customer for life.

I just had to take a moment to share what an incredible experience I've had at Reeves Family Farm…read more. This place is truly a hidden gem and without a doubt a 5-star business. The produce -- both the vegetables and fruits -- are unbelievably fresh, straight from the farm. You can absolutely taste the difference in quality. Everything feels wholesome, locally grown, and handled with care. I also love the fact they offer meal prep options that are ready and freshly made. It makes healthy eating so convenient without sacrificing flavor or freshness. And I can't forget to mention the fresh brownies and homemade salsa -- both are exceptionally good! The brownies are rich and delicious, and the salsa tastes like it was made with love and the freshest ingredients. Beyond the food, the customer service is truly top tier. The welcoming atmosphere and friendly interactions make you want to come back daily. It's rare to find a place that delivers both quality products and such genuine hospitality. Along with price efficiency more bang for your buck! Reeves Family Farm is an absolute treasure The place for consistently providing fresh food and outstanding service! It was packed and we didn't see anywhere to sit (plus it was 90+ degrees and the kids were hot) so we didn't actually stay and wait to order any food. But there's plenty of parking despite the crowd. THE SCENE While on vacation in McKinney, friends of ours…read moremade this statement: "If you guys love food, you have to try this place down the road. It's arguably the best burger you'll ever have." *Ding, Ding, Ding!* I'll take 'let's go right now' for $200 Alex! Well, needless to say, we have a slight difference of opinion in the definition of "best". The recent history of this place is rather sad. The previous owner was accidentally killed in an incident involving a riding lawn tractor last year. http://www.scntx.com/articles/2011/05/26/mckinney_courier-gazette/news/9822.txt Although the new owners try very hard to maintain previous standards, the food appears to have suffered with the loss. My friend did not tell me it had been several years since his last visit, which was prior to the death of the original owner. So he was also a little surprised with the taste. The folks running the place now are very friendly, but also take their time in delivering your food. I was on vacation, so I had all the time in the world. But if I were stopping on my lunch break, I would have been very annoyed. ---------- - - - - - - - - - - THE DETAILS Date & Time: Thursday, July 12th, 2012 @ 12:15pm Dining Companions: my good friend What to expect: Old school tables & chairs, simple decor, signature wall Decor: reminded me of an old classroom trailer (except much larger) Service: Friendly Liquid: Vanilla Root Beer (bottled) Ordered: 1/2 pound & reg. burger, Jr. burger, 2 fries, onion ring, drink Dislikes: Charred onions and black charred remains from the grill on my burger Total: $19.78 ---------- - - - - - - - - - - THE FOOD My 1/2 pound cheeseburger ($5.89 + .50 cheese) was very good, but a long way from being considered the best. I liked the toasted bun but disliked having charred grilled onions which also still had the skin on prior to grilling. Instead of a beautiful caramel color, they were burnt and ugly. Also, I can't properly describe it, but the juiciness of my burger was marred by the fact it seemed too dark in color (see napkin on pic). The fries on the other hand were excellent! I also ordered a local vanilla Root Beer brand labelled Frosties. The 4-pack containers these drinks come in made for whimsical table decorations (gotta love country folks). Unfortunately, it had a medicine taste to it, so I really didn't enjoy it as much as I would have hoped. THE VERDICT Overall it's a decent burger choice and BONUS, they let you write comments with a permanent marker on the wall near the entrance. I probably will not visit again, especially now that In-N-Out Burger has a store nearby. However, I did enjoy the experience and met a few really nice people.
