I also purchased a Prime rib eye, cooked perfectly, but it was tough, like a select cut from Tom Thumb. It is too bad that Dallas does not have a better selection of high-quality meat markets. If the steaks had been amazing, I wouldn't have cared about the price. In the past, I have purchased a prime rib, which was good but not great. The best thing I have purchased are their pork chops. Those were excellent, and the only reason this is getting three stars.

Wild Fork has better prices on high quality meats than other grocery stores. Their triple blend burgers (brisket, chuck, and short rib) are restaurant quality and reasonably priced. They also have some items you rarely find in America like ground Ostrich. I haven't tried it, but I'm open to it. The staff is friendly and always available to help or answer questions. The store is pretty on the inside and well laid out. I suggest going when you have time to walk up and down each aisle. Even though I have a list, it takes me a while to decide on what I'll buy because they have so much to offer. This trip I got those burgers, brioche buns, frozen yucca chunks, steak, branzino, and a ton of other items that I had not intended on buying, but just couldn't pass on. They do have some nice sales as well! This location is in a shopping center with plenty of parking. The store is medium size, but it will take you a while to get through all the interesting offerings.

I will say, the food is good and unique selection of frozen meats and menu items The customer service is not good! A young lady who works there (same person on both visits) is not very friendly! We a have bad days. Went back for a second visit. She was on the phone with a customer taking an order and was rude and "huffed and puffed" when she got off the phone. While the customer "may" have been difficult, this was my second time seeing her "annoyed" and/or "rude". I grabbed three items from the freezer. Two items had no price tag. Another young lady took the two items and weighed them to place a price tag on them. She did not tell me what she was doing, yet I quickly figured out what she was doing as she grabbed the items without speaking to me. Even though she didn't communicate her actions, I shrugged it off. I was not bothered. Back to the original lady who has now ended her phone call. She begins to ring up my items and takes the label off of the third item, which already had a price tag of $17 (and change). Remember, she has said nothing to me as to why she did this AND remember, the item already had a price on it if $17. I stopped her and asked, "Why did you ring me up at a different/higher price?" At a MINIMUM, you could have given me the courtesy of telling me what you were doing instead of just taking it off and changing the price without saying anything to me!" She was quiet for a moment and then said, "If you don't want it, I can take it off. It's the price of the wagyu. There is nothing I can do!" "Yes. There is something you can do, because you just did it! (Making note she changed the price from $17 to $21) I would think you would honor your mistake, and allow the customer (me) the $17 price and inform me of the mistake. Regardless, I still want the wagyu, because I want to try it. That would be the proper way to handle that [situation]."
