Obsessed!!!!!!! You can't get everything you need here but it's a great option for specialty and good quality frozen meats. I love their diverse selection. I honestly love coming in weekly just to see the new items and sales. They always have a sale going on something. Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. They are always asking if you need anything. Always clean and organized well. I love their insulated zip up bags too.

Great store with an interesting selection of steaks and meat. Highly recommend. Good prices too.

Pregame, are these not beautiful? Oh, what a meal.

HOLY CRAP WHERE HAS THIS STORE BEEN!!! If you close your front door and instantly become Gordon Ramsey, throwing flour on your fresh made pasta before hanging it on the $39.00 Amazon Choice pasta drying rack while you consider, "Tomato or Jerk" for the Oxtails you just brought home from Wild Fork. Ok, so just me? That's ok too. This place is my new home. While planning my weekly Mediterranean Diet plan for my wife (medical reasons), I stumbled over an add for the Grand Opening of this store and they had EVERYTHING on my protein list. Every type of fish (whole Sole, Ahi Tuna, Hake, and Sea Bream for me) was there and the quality was top notch!!!! Tonight we splurged on 17 day dry aged Angus Beef 1 1/2 inches thick. Eat your heart out Gordon. The service in this store is beyond helpful without having that "someone is lurking" thought every line cook working for any Chef has had. Take it from me, you can apply and me the next Master Chef or you can shop where today and toast with me using a beautiful piece of Beef. P.S. Look at those steaks! I mean....really? Holy Cow indeed. P.S.S. My God those steaks are beautiful. (.....and there might be some A5 Wagyu hiding here as well)

Great app. I live in Austin and order through the app and get my meat delivered next day from Dallas. They do flash freezing at the perfect time (aged for some meats and super fresh for others depending on the type of meat) and box it up with dry ice to keep it frozen. All I know is the meat thaws out perfectly fresh tasting. No way to tell it's been frozen. And the beef seems a couple weeks aged which is perfect for my preference. The cost is the same as going to the grocery store here if you have the low cost yearly free shipping membership except I can get a lot more selection and the grass fed stuff isn't bitter like the bitter grasses they feed the cattle in some of the Austin and San Antonio areas. My brother in law has been to the stores in Dallas and he says they are clean and nice.

Soooooo cool! I recently got into smoking meat and wanted to get some fun options to try smoking. I picked up a brisket, some sea food mixes, some chicken wings and chicken breast as well as some seasoned ribs. Only negative is everything in the store is frozen so you can't do the "fold test" on brisket or anything else you want to feel to know how tender it will be. Good experience and we will likely be babk but I'll prob not buy brisket or anything like that where I really need it thawed for proper inspection

Interesting and quite different grocery store. Elk, alligator, beef tongue, whole little piglet and boar just to name a few. Also lots of seafood and lamb.

They really have the largest choice of meats! Was even able to find fois gras! The prices seem competitive as well!

Great selection, but everything is frozen, and that's not great. If you're a fan of that kinda stuff, than this is the place for you.

H-E-B is more mid-market, Joe V's is the bargain end, and Central Market is the crown jewel. And honestly, shopping here is an experience. Much like IKEA, the store is designed to lead you through the entire place, so you're constantly seeing something else that makes you think, "Oh, I need that." They carry tons of regional specialties, including plenty that aren't even from Texas, plus an impressive selection of prepared foods. The bakery is lovely, and the meat section is downright glorious. We happened to be here at the tail end of Hatch chile season, which is apparently a VERY real thing. Every August, Central Market celebrates with about two weeks of Hatch chile everything. We're talking marinated meats, salsas, chips, cheeses, dips, even cookies. Basically, if they can put a Hatch chile in it, they will. We bought a few things to take home and try later, but we also grabbed an Asian chicken wrap with sweet potato fries from the cafe. Delicious, and easily enough for two people to split. Come hungry, come curious, and give yourself plenty of time. This is not a "run in for milk" kind of grocery store.

On top of that, it was actually pretty budget-friendly, which made it even better. Service was great, and the ambiance was really pleasant and comfortable. The food felt fresh and healthy, and the whole environment just made the experience easy to enjoy.

It doesn't seem like much sitting in the strip center, but we walked inside. They've got two good size dining areas and plenty of room. Also we enjoyed that they had the football games on TVs in both rooms. The menu appears to be updated almost daily on a chalkboard. It took a minute to look over everything and make a choice. We opted for the fried oysters as an appetizer then I ordered the fish and shrimp plate and my wife ordered the # 7, which today was one cluster snow, crabs, and shrimp. They brought our food out in to go boxes, which is I guess what everybody eats out of. We were both blown away when we opened them up and saw how much food they give you. The portions are huge. My fish and fried shrimp was pretty good. The fish could use a little bit more seasoning, but it was cooked very well and tasted good. The shrimp was really good and once again I was surprised at how big they were. There was a ton of fries and only ate about half of them, but they were good as well. I was very impressed with the fried oysters. They were big oysters and tasted great. My wife loved her snow crab. It comes with tons of potatoes, corn on the cob and several shrimp and we were stuffed by the time we left. We will definitely come back and try something different on the menu next time
