They all have different modes of checkout and carrying inventory. I finally figured out that the tracking system determines exactly what's demanded by customers at each store and stocks that product. This particular store also did away with any live checkers. So,not particularly wanting to scan my own groceries,I quit coming here. Then a few weeks ago I was passing by and stopped . The store was well stocked and they actually had a real person at check out. Also, prices seem to be genuinely " rolling back". They've redeemed themselves for now

Walmart March 1, 2026…read more (5/5) Visited this Walmart yesterday and came away pleasantly surprised. It's a larger location with a spacious layout, wide aisles, and a clean, organized feel throughout the store. Everything seemed well stocked and easy to navigate. What really stood out was the food court setup. Inside this Walmart they have a Subway, Auntie Anne's, and Cinnabon -- which is rare these days. Most Walmart locations have one food option at best, so seeing three recognizable brands under one roof was unexpected and impressive. The staff were also notably friendly. We had a particularly positive interaction with a very kind woman working near the fitting rooms. She was attentive, helpful, and welcoming -- the kind of employee that makes a difference in the overall experience. This location feels well managed and customer-focused. Definitely one of the better Walmart visits we've had.

I've done some comparisons, and besides being much more convenient, they have what we like PLUS some things that TW does not offer -- more like a boutique liquor store than a big box without a big increase in cost. Additionally, the staff is very helpful and will spend time with you to find what you are looking for as well as show other options. Example: I wanted to find gluten free items for a relative. They had several options of which I was not aware.

The spirits are well labeled - and they look cool! - but inside the aisle is is less clear. Selection was spotty. They have some great bottles: I found an Appleton 15 and an El Dorado 18, plus an Old Grand Dad 114, but they didn't have not-from-concentrate lime juice, Falernum, or passion fruit syrup. And some of their prices were outlandish - 25% above nearby shops - and some were reasonable. So, a good place to go with a nice staff, but be careful to know what you should be paying.
