This is only my second time in an Aldi. My first was when this one first opened years ago. I decided then it probably wasn't for me. Don't get me wrong. I'm sure I'd be ok stopping here occasionally but just haven't been motivated. That is until today. After stopping at Dollar Tree down the street to get foder for a party game,I needed plastic wrap. So, I whipped in here, stepped inside and within 30 seconds was leaving with 4 rolls of plastic wrap and two rolls of aluminum foil. I spent several years in Germany and really like this place. They have live music on occasion and their staff food is very good.

I occasionally shop here. I rarely cook but I can still get fruit, yogurt, dairy, etc. to have available at home. This store can have fun surprises similar to Trader Joe's. It's a small store so I can go down each aisle quickly and there is a checker which is nice to have these days. Bring a quarter for a cart and shopping bags or you can buy their bags or use a box if available. I bag my items at my car or you can use their counter. If you are getting ingredients for a recipe, they may not have everything you need. read more

I've never been to an Aldi so today is the day. I love the commercials Aldi has on TV. Some of them definitely make me laugh. Relatable themes. Gotta enjoy a business that uses great sales tactics in their commercials. I try to avoid processed food. Aldi is loaded with a lot of canned goods and varies other processed foods. They have a section for produce. It's small yet extremely affordable. Aldi offers a lot of random stuff too. Like the items you see on TV that only weirdos buy. The prices on all the food is much better then regular grocery stores. I did notice they carried some foods from other countries such as Germany and Italy, etc. On a few of the products it said it was a "German"product but it came from China. Huh? What's up with that. I suggest reading the labels before a purchase. Don't buy Chinese processed food. Just saying. I don't think I'll be shopping here, however, it might be a great place for some folks! Oh! Affordable prices. Open 9am to 9pm. Clean. If you've never shopped at Aldi, I suggest you bring your own bags for groceries or be prepared to buy some of the bags they sell. The cashiers make quick work about checking you out, so have yourself ready to pack up your things. Variety in products is limited, but the upside is this location has curbside pickup so you can always take your time to shop online first. read more

This rating is for the cashier only.......I spent $97 & an hour there yesterday doing my shopping only to have this young man toss my items in the basket like it was trash, I wish I had taken a photo. I separated the cold items from other things only to have everything hurriedly tossed in the basket all jumbled & turned over. ‍ I assure you if our roles had been reversed he would have reported me immediately, I am at a loss for words when it comes to the younger generation, some seem to lack common sense, since I am sure his training at aldi was much better than he was showing. A lot of the Aldis in this area are poorly managed, with dirty floors, unusual smells, and tired sad-looking employees. However, this Aldi is always spotless, perfectly organized, and well stocked. The employees here are always scurrying around in overdrive mode trying to keep the place up to spec, but they still take the time to stop and ask if you need help with anything. It's a real pleasure to frequent a store that is treated like a temple by the people who work there. Make sure you compliment the employees when you go. They deserve it. read more

Im a huge fan of Aldi...they've received more of my business than local grocery stores due to the great prices on a lot of their items. One thing I will say is the prices on produce used to be a lot better, they have gone up recently, but still run great specials. The cashiers are usually always nice at this location and it's not as crazy busy as others. read more

Aldi is a weekly ritual for us on Sunday mornings. It's so empty right when it opens at 9 AM! I kind of wish it opens earlier because I am an early bird. Aldi has been described as the discounted Trader Joe's as they have some unique items, and they are associated with each other in some business-ish way. With that being said, this is a favorite for us! There is a great variety of food here and all are very well priced here. Snacks, bread, veggies, hummus, meat, dairy, and more. One highlight about this place is that they have a whole freezer section dedicated to Blue Bell Ice Cream and they have a pretty good selection of flavors! We really like getting the Cookie Two Step. Carts require a quarter to use (in order to unlock), but you get the quarter back when you return it. Don't forget to bring a quarter! If not, you can always ask the cashier for one. Also, Aldi cashiers have such a fast way of scanning items. It's impressive. Unlike most grocery stores in the area, they do not provide free bags so don't forget to bring your reusable bags, or you can buy some here! You also need to bag yourself. I think logistics stuff like this is pretty smart and helps keeps costs low for the store. read more

I don't get to this side of town very often, especially the closer we get to Christmas. I needed to be right up the street from here and hadn't been in since they opened. I go to the McKinney Aldi occasionally but normally find it a bit disheveled and pretty empty. This location was the opposite. Minutes after open, it was already busy. It was well stocked and clean. Probably got the largest load I ever had at an Aldi. I'll have to think about making this a normal stop when the traffic isn't so bad. read more

Love Aldi. Best place ever for standard staples: veggies, fruits, dips, canned goods, nuts, $7.99/lb fresh salmon fillets, boneless skinless chicken breasts & 99¢ bottles of Italian dressing to marinate them in a Ziploc, Blue Bell ice cream, canned goods, hamburger meat, beer, off-brand crackers & chips, even a few odd house items. I'm surprised they don't have a barber & bellydancers in there. Pop in sometime & give it a chance - Aldi has come a long way over the years. The bad news is the good news: that "$5 off $30" coupon they send you in the mail? You'll never spend that much in there, ha! read more

I love Aldi more then certain relatives and I am making it my job to visit as many in Texas as possible. This one did not disappoint. Friendly cashiers, excellent if minimal selection, pricing that makes you weep tears of joy. I really enjoy Aldi. They religiously restock every week because a lot of their items do sell out. Their staff is really nice and friendly and they check out people really fast. It's never super busy and aisles are spacious enough anyway to fit a good number of people. Assortment is not as wide as Walmart or the nearby Kroger but they do have a little bit of most things. They definitely have staple foods like milk, eggs, fruits and various meats that are always there. They have a huge wine assortment and a lot of other home goods that switch out every week or so. I go there for the 39 cent yellow mangoes and they ALWAYS have those in stock. read more

Downgrading to 1star. Misleading return policy with rude service. Experience: all these days I was very pleased shopping at this aldi location, but had a surprise today about their return policy. I read online about their return policy and asked the attendants before that they take the item back unused anytime with receipt and will give store credit without receipt for lowest price. But today I met Richard at this location and did not take my purchase back after 35 days with receipt. I showed him the online policy and my past references and the aldi nerd community. Then started the bad experience. These are his statements. "It is 30 day only with receipt. My manger decides that. It is neither online nor on receipt nor displayed in store. They only tell if asked. You cannot see my manager. You can hang around store daily to catch the 1 hr window that his manager will be there if I am lucky". I asked him how can I resolve this issue since what is saying is not mentioned anywhere about the return policy. "You cannot do anything about it". So I am not sure if he is just one bad attended or the Aldi policy is really a hidden policy of 30 day that they don't mentioned and kind of leaves it to the attendants. So in that case I am done with aldi shopping since it is no longer the store i was liking before and seems to be attendant dependant. I had 2 items both unopened and unused. One with receipt and one without. read more

I don't think I will be back to Aldi. Any Aldi store if they are all like this location. I tried to look beyond this but honestly their customer service doesn't deserve any stars. That employee still continued on with being on his phone. This last experience sealed the deal of me ever returning. I knew what I wanted I chose Aldi I knew they were close to closing however I should still be welcomed and politely and professionally be informed that the store will be closing soon. Instead I'm told as I walk "You have 5 minutes " this was a manager because I asked the cashier. That particular cashier said I don't know I don't work here I'm just helping out today after I informed her that I believed that lady to be rude. Anyhow, I will no longer shop at Aldi nor will I recommend Aldi to anyone based on lack of customer service. read more
