Several times I shopped fruit from this shopping center and every time I had to toss them immediately after opening. Fruit such as coconut, pomelo and jackfruit that aren't necessarily inexpensive either. I consider Jusgo a great store to shop for specialized items that one might not find elsewhere such as certain cookware, spices, variety of mushroom and some greens. Certain items like sunflower seeds are sold at a better price here, but kimchi might be priced higher that other stores. Some other stuff such as regular fruit and vegetables might be priced higher as well and are not always fresh either. The store is located in a mall and always looks clean, however there are times where there's really strong unexplainable odors that start from the store and spread through the mall as well. read more

One of the greatest reasons why I love living in Dallas, Texas .. is the culture. We have supermarket stores that are so authentic that you feel like you are visiting another continent. My pictures show resources very different from our traditional grocery store. They have a wide variety of unique fruit, protein, and products. I spent nearly 2 hours looking and wished I knew how to buy and cook any of it. If you live in the area or are visiting Texas, I highly recommend that you visit and enjoy Asian style foods, treats, products, cookware, etc. TIP: Most of the protein they offer is alive. Veggies are fresh compared to ranch 99 in Plano. But Please don't but the clearance items from this store. It happened to us few times already. The on sale items are rotten. They sneakily place the fruits in a plastic container/trays and hide the rotten parts from the package, so people can't tell they are rotten until they open the package at home....bummer! The udon noodles are on sale but we open the package at home and found that the noodles are covered with ice! I mean big chunks of ice?!! I wonder if their freezer is having problems and affects the udon noodles, so they put them on sales.... When i cooked the udon at home, the white part was having freeze burn and no matter how long I cooked them they didn't become soft!!! this is my go-to market every week. i know where exactly everything is. the cashiers are super friendly and the staff can tell you where what you are looking for is located. since i moved to plano in 2018 this has been my dependable market. has everything i need to make dinner for my family. even my amigos in the meat department knows me and what i need every week, 2 libras(lbs) of ground pork 80%. sometimes they don't have asparagus and fresh broccoli so i go to H.E.B. for that. otherwise all my needs can be met by going to Jusgo. i prefer this one than the one on Coit near burger kings. that one i am unfamiliar with. read more

Sealed snacks, frozen foods, ramen, fruits, vegetables, fresh seafood, sauces, seasoning and lots of different brands of everything to boot. Being a native New Yorker, I've been relegated to going to smaller Asian/Chinese supermarkets all of my life, but Jusgo completely changed my outlook on Asian supermarkets. We have been coming here for years. The grocery store has changed hands again and become a Jusgo Supermarket. Slowly but surely, they have revamped and cleaned this store up to make it more appealing. We shop here because we drive up here to eat at one of the many long standing restaurants in this shopping center off of Legacy and 75. Jusgo would not be our first choice; but they have stepped up their game and the Asian produce basics are always here and in good condition. Prepackaged thin cuts of quality meat for pho and Korean soups, bowls and the grill are also found here. The produce area still can't compete with some of the bigger stores. The other areas are very similiar. It depends what you're after and how you are used to buying something. Many items in all areas are prepackaged except for seafood. There will be a wait, although they are really hustling to fill orders by number. Jusgo is thankfully devoid of a fishy odor. I find the entire store to be very clean. I noticed they have increased their home products area and baked items. There is still a bakery outside the store entrance but within the grocery "lobby" shopping area if you want to shop for a wider variety. Since this grocery store is part of a larger shopping center made up mostly of restaurants with a food court at one end, there are no restaurants inside the grocery store. Not a bad supermarket but you gotta becareful because some stuff are old so make sure you check the expiration date because its prob on sale for a reason. But they do have lots of sales and there are some decent stuff with wide variety. I don't come here too often since it is far but when I do I can find some snacks on sale. One thing that was a little upsetting was when I checked in and found a 5 percent off coupon. The cashier pretty much looked at me like I made this thing up and was crazy and called the manager who pretty much said she never seen that before and was tryna ask me where in the world I got that like I committed some sin.. she said no one runs the yelp app and was never informed about this coupon and so I said its fine. But why would you have a coupon when you can't use it and be ridiculed and emabressed by it.. man never had this happen ever. So embarrassing. And will probably try not not be back. read more

They have a really good selection of fish to choose from and it was really clean. No stinky fish smell. They have frogs, yes they are alive, which is freaky to see 50 of them in a container. They also have live turtles and conch to make ceviche. They have a large variety of Asian foods from various countries. They also have some of the best fermented kimchi. This place is huge and well-lit; it can sometimes be a bit difficult to find what you need if you aren't familiar with the layout but most things are well labeled. I needed a few things that I couldn't get at Kroger or Trader Joe's. I'll be honest. I have always hated going to the Asian grocery store. Growing up, my mother always seemed to pick the smallest, dingiest and inevitably, stinkiest market. They had the best meat and seafood at the cheapest prices. The inner pirate voice in me says "Scarred ye'll be fer life!" The good thing about this place is its name is a subliminal message. I just happened to be less than 1/2 mile away from this place and I didn't want to go. I had a growing list of things. I finally drive by it and it tells me "Jus-go"! Fine. I'll go. I don't know when I'll be in this part of Plano again soon. The fact is, Jusgo has everything. And I got everything I needed to get at a bargain. Sure, they may sell some products with questionable quality, but even big chain grocery stores have sold me moldy fruit and bread (Yes, Kroger manager, I'm returning this moldy bread you sold me yesterday). As far as smell, this grocery store is the least stinkiest of the ones here in the North Dallas burbs. I guess you can say it passes the smell test for me. I'm not saying it doesn't smell funny at times. But It offers by far the most variety of different ethnic products that I need. Service is indifferent. Who cares. They do speak English at least. I randomly stumbled on this place while I was walking off my food from the dim sum place next door. This place is HUGE. Like, Ranch 99 Asian Malls in California huge. There aren't that many shops in the "mall" area, and none that really caught my eye that I remember but the supermarket? OMG THE SUPERMARKET? It's like, Asian grocery store HEAVEN. It's brightly lit and spacious and omg I had no idea where to even start!! They had any and everything you could imagine and look for in an Asian market! And so organized! I grabbed some snacks since it was the day I was leaving Texas and Orlando has ONE Asian market that doesn't even have much in it so of course I went nuts and grabbed TOO MANY snacks while I was here. Hey, this is what happens when you stick an Asian from California in Florida for 4 years, okay?! The freezer section had rows and rows and rows (it seemed like it went on forever) of cute little animal piggy banks filled with fruit jellies. I was going nuts over the burst of colors! I ended up picking the brown owl (then my boyfriend went back later and got me the pink owl too). They also had rows of different types of soda's and Ramune flavors. Compact Asian grocery with a focus on Chinese products. They have a nice selection of Taiwanese beers which I haven't seen elsewhere. Vegetable section didn't seem as big or varied as zTao, but everything looked fresh. Well stocked frozen section with a good selection of jiaozi, baozi and shumai. New discovery that will bring me back - frozen, salted mackerel filet that can be sliced for for at home shashimi. read more

This store is not fancy.. And it's definitely not the cleanest asian market I've been to, but it will suffice until Mitsuwa comes to Plano. I was; however, very happy that they carried jackfruit that are cut in half. This makes it more economical for me because I live alone. A whole jackfruit would be way too much for me to eat. The jackfruit was ripe and cost about $8.75 That is the only standout item that caught my attention at this store. They do carry a variety of Chinese goods and some Korean items. read more

Visited this place to get some Galangal (Thai Ginger). The first impression was good but then things got disappointing. The selection of produce was limited. They did not stock most of the Asian produce. The space between the produce stalls was too narrow and finally, all the Galangal on sale had mold on it. Not again! read more

STAFF SEXUALLY HARASSES FEMALE CUSTOMERS This supermarket management needs to be aware that their male staff, and security guard (Asian one with glasses) make it very comfortable for young female shoppers. Usually it is just the circling and checking out female shoppers, and their body language signals to eachother that there is an attractive female shopper. Its usually just a normal guy thing if its done discreetly. However today it crossed the line into SEXUAL HARASSMENT!!!!!! My wife had gotten out of the car first and i shortly after. Getting out of the car i heard loud "cat calling " and saw it directed at my wife who gave me a look that she was uncomfortable and offended. I immediately addressed the shopping cart staff. He acted as he didnt understand. So my wife pulled me to just let it go. So we finished shopping, and on our way out we decided to go to the custom blinds shop inside the market. I had just passed the same shopping cart staff. I assumed he would not repeat his actions again. So i passed him and then i hear my wife yelling at the top of her lungs. He had made same "cat calls " and sexually harassing sounds towards her again. She yelled about him : being disrespectful, what was wrong with him, and that he is sexually harassing him For a good few minutes. Everyone in the market stopped at the commotion. To my surprise no managment or other staff came out. The staff that made the cat calls just retreated after my wife finished chewing him out. If this happens again. We will take action. No one should feel like this or have this done to them anywhere, anytime. Please train and discipline your staff regarding sexual harassment, ethics, and code of conduct!!! Ok, so this place is not my typical kind of store as I am not someone who often ventures out of my comfort zone but this place is cool and unique. When you first step in you will notice that their are quite. A few little shops that range from a bank, to a cell phone shop, bakery and places selling little knick knacks. They are worth checking out and sometimes you can find a nice unique piece as we did. The supermarket itself is of good size and is very clean and well organized. There are a lot of unique foods and treats and you can go crazy just looking around at everything. My only issue would be that the customer service is lacking and the employees were really not to friendly. Being Hispanic and heavily tattooed I stood out and without a doubt they made me feel that way although I didn't really care much. They can look all they want, they surely didn't hesitate taking my money! read more

I haven't been here in a few months and it changed its name on me?! I didn't approve of that! It's actually pretty clean, but the selection wasn't great and actually seems less than what it use to be. I came in for my hot pot ingredients and didn't find the stuff that I wanted and will have to go to Ranch 99. The only thing that is still awesome about this place is the little eatery on the far right side (when entering the store) that sells rice and three sides. It's all authentic and for a cheap price. So, they were stuck wondering where I was, and had to shop without a cart, and I was stuck outside with the cart. Either way, not a great way to do business. Jusgo is my go to asian supermarket. With ranch 99 an exist away and h-mart 2 exists away, I still prefer Jusgo. It's smaller than the two but still always have everything that I need. I also find that the prices are slightly cheaper than the other two. Vegetables are always very fresh, which is a big deal for me. The meat and seafood section is kept fairly clean. When you walk in most asian supermarket, it reeks of fishy odors, but not at Jusgo. I also really appreciate the specials that Jusgo have. For example, they'll have nature sweet cherry tomatoes for .79 cents while Walmart still has them for $3.99! Score! The one thing I wish Jusgo had is a better selection for tropical fruits when in season, such as Logan's, rambutans and baby green mangos. I usually have to drive all the way to hiep thai in garland to get them. read more

This was our first time coming to Jusgo. We were impressed with their prices, variety of ramen, produce, fruits, teas and much more! The bakery that was by the entrance smelled delicious as well! Looking over the reviews for this place, I see that there is some negativity about the recent remodel and management changes; since I hadn't visited prior to these changes, I can only comment on what I see now. First, I was amazed at the scope of this place. It's almost an indoor mall of Asian products, including foods of all kind, non-food products and all are contained in the main store plus some other little shops within. I should also say that I'm American born and raised, and while I've been to Japan and South Korea and have had some fairly authentic Asian cuisine, I don't have a huge knowledge base in the area of shopping. There's plenty of stuff here that I don't even know how it would be used, and some things that I'm pretty sure I don't want to try. But, for the items I was looking for (oyster sauce and shirataki noodles), I was able to find what I wanted and, particularly on the sauce, had a vast array of options to choose from. Probably the most surprising area of the store was the very busy and vast meat market, featuring a huge array of fresh and frozen items from sea and land. I'm not sure how many people would make this a destination for buying ground chuck, but hey, they've got it. Although I wasn't shopping for produce, they had a lot of that as well, and most of it seemed to be of good quality (at least visually). I'll definitely be visiting this place again, but I'l admit, I'm a little lost in there sometimes. :) read more

Completely amazing. This is the best Asian grocery I've ever been too. Their selection of ingredients and condiments is like nothing I've ever seen. I've had a Chinese cookbook that included ingredients I've honestly never been able to find. This place has them. So enough gushing. The grocery is in a small, strip mall type, location. There is a small food court next door with a few specialty items and food. Prices at the grocery, based upon observation and memory seem on par or less than larger well known grocery. It used to be a very good Asian store especially for seafood. But the quality had gone downhill. Growing up, fish/seafood were almost there in our daily meals. I know how to choose fresh fish. Today, I picked Fresh sea bass wild making sure they were good/fresh. Got it cleaned & cut but when I got home, I realized it was old fish! Flesh wad so hard. Wasted $25! This is not the first time. This is a typical Asian market where one can find all they need to fill their pantries up with Asian goods. We come here regularly for fresh veggies and meats. Prices are better than some of the other markets in the area. It's located in a strip plaza that is full of restaurants and a food court option. There is a bakery and a creperie inside the same section that Jusgo is located. The bakery is very good, so if you see the buns inside Jusgo, walk past them and go down the hall to the bakery. You won't be disappointed! The market itself is clean and have organized aisles. The staff is friendly and have helped us on several occasions to help us find items. read more

This place has gone downhill since they changed to Jusgo. The quality of meat from the butcher is terrible. Their small ribs are cut unevenly. One end is less than 1/2 an inch and the other end in more than an inch. I bought beef flank but I got beef shank. The meat had lots of soft tissue and was very tough. Shank is for stewing, I wanted to get flank for stir fry. Their pork belly was very thin. Wasn't thick enough for stewing. I just get my meats from Carrollton Plaza these days. Horrible customer service. We bought 4 boxes of durian mochi ice cream. We went to the car and tried one mochi out of one box nad it was spoiled and sour even though the expired date is 9/21 on the box. We went back right away to customer service to let them know and return. The manager was nice but he went to ask one of the cashier to see if we can return all 4 boxes. That cashier named Ella was so rude and yelled at us that we could not return the opened one. We were not upset because of the on sale $5.99 mochi ice cream box but were upset because of her attitude. We asked what if we brought it home and ate and had any problem, what would they do? The most broad supply of Filipino goodies, frozen meats, fish, preserves and fresh produce. The price is a little higher than the other usual suspects (Hiep Thai, Hong Kong Market, Ranch 99) but this place is well lit and much cleaner than those guys.
