Let's see what happens! I remember when this store first opened 15 or so years ago! There was a lot of hubbub about Trader Joe's coming to Texas. I visited as soon as I could but was unimpressed. Over the years,I stopped in occasionally,trying this that and the other. Still not a must. This morning I was eating breakfast at Starwood across the street. It occurred to me,I should pay TJz a visit and see if they fit in with my plan of less cooking! Bingo! Now I see who TJz typical customers are. After Googling Trader Joe's Best Selling items,I was ready. I picked up a variety of fresh produce and frozen entrees . The workers are always fantastic, very helpful, and always eager to make small talk while helping you find what you need. The store's selection is great, and with only a few aisles it is easy to navigate and find things quickly. The only part that can feel a little confusing is the cashier area since the setup is a bit wonky, but the cashiers are always enjoyable to talk to. One of my favorite things is the fresh flowers at the entrance. Walking in and seeing them right away makes the shopping experience even better. read more

I'm from California, so nuff said right? I was one of the guys that fell into a state of depression when I moved to Texas because there were so many niche items I purchased at Trader Joe's. We now have several Trader Joe's in Texas and I gotta say, I'm feeling at home. To the person that would say "what's so great about Trader Joe's"? I'd say, give yourself an hour and walk around the store. Take a look at products and items you find interest in, and try them out. Pretty soon you'll find yourself used to certain brands and tastes that only Trader Joe's has, and to top it off, they are healthy and priced reasonable. My son loves Indian food, and they have Indian frozen dinners that we've been buying for years. There's also an Orange Chicken in a bag that we love. And I can't go on enough about the Vodka Spaghetti Sauce that we've been buying for years. And if you're a trail mix person like we are, the selection of pre-packaged trail mix is incredible. The wine selection is pretty nice as well, I love that I can find interesting new bottles of wine at a reasonable price. I purchased a bottle last week that was so good I cried myself to sleep while sitting in my living room watching TV and chomping down my Trader Joe's trail mix. California much? Now lets discuss the cleanliness. This place is always immaculate. Nothing more to discuss, LOL. All locations I've experienced are clean and constantly being cleaned. It makes me feel comfortable. A+ Now lets discuss the people. I've never once encountered a bad attitude in a Trader Joe's. It's like they went to the happy farm and only picked the top of the line happy people to work here. I've even seen people with an attitude get met with a great smile and apology from Trader Joe's staff. I think the people of Trader Joe's are a big element in the appeal as well. A+ Variety of items to buy? You can plan full meals or just buy snacks, Trader Joe's has a great variety of food items and custom choices to keep you eating for weeks and weeks. I have been shopping this location for just over 2 years. They have excellent customer service, employee retention, and handle any issues quickly! The store is always well maintained, clean, and stocked (for the most part, when holidays and busy times don't play a role)! Several checkers and store stock employees remember me and engage in nice conversations. The produce, cheese, and meat department is primarily why I shop here every week! Even though it's nearly 30 min from my house, it's worth the trip. I feel the prices are fair and the special seasonal items are always fun to try! read more

I'm super ANGRY at this location!! It's important to support local businesses during this COVID19 crisis and spread the word about those that are going the extra mile. I'm letting my YELP family know that this location has shortened their business hours due to the pandemic, they are doing an amazing job wiping down shopping carts, and they are encouraging social distancing from the time you arrive until the time you leave. I appreciated that. Typically this is a five-star experience for us, but after this last visit, it's going to be a long time before we go back. This was a special day for us, you know ... to get out of the house because of the lockdown. We are like you -- working from home, living in chaos and our stress is over the top. It's the little things, like going grocery shopping, that keeps us sane, lol. It was time for us to pick up a lot of groceries. My daughter and I love this place and we were really looking forward to it. When we arrived the line was very long, standing in the sun, and we didn't mind following the social distancing that was in place. As we waiting for our turn to go in, I openly took a few pictures for my YELP review. Once we stepped into the doorway there was the cutest "social distancing" sign!!! My daughter and I both thought it was well done, very cool, so we took a few pictures. The guy who was wiping down shopping carts rushed through the doorway and started yelling at us, "Stop taking pictures! You can't take a picture of that! I replied, "What? I'm taking pictures for YELP?" He continued to yell at us, waving his hands in the air, saying, "You can't take pictures of that because it's copyrighted!" He definitely felt entitled to treat us this way, he made such a scene, and it was unnecessary to approach us this way. He should have handled us very differently if this truly is a Trader Joe's policy. We must have looked like we were shot with a stun gun! We were motionless and speechless, and EVERYONE WAS STARING AT US. As we wandered through Trader Joe's people continued to stare at us, I think they were confused about what just happened. It was so embarrassing!! We picked up our favorite gluten-free cupcakes and decided to leave. I finished my shopping at Kroger on the way home. We specifically made a trip there to enjoy our day. I love Trader Joe's. I'm a California girl and I was so happy when TJ's came to Texas. Their organic vegetables are fairly priced and for the most part cheaper than other places. I used to get all my produce from another store that came from California but their produce was not as fresh and often rotted before I could use it. Over the many years of shopping at TJ's I have been impressed with their unique variety of foods, cheeses and other specialty items. Until this inflation hit us so hard I could buy most of my grocery items for $70 or less but that doesn't happen anymore, but it is still more reasonable than other grocery stores. In addition to great products TJ's has high standards for their products like quality ingredients; no artificial flavors; no artificial preservatives; colors derived only from naturally available products; no msg; no genetically modified ingredients; no partially hydrogenated oils (artificial trans-fats); no "marketing" costs; tasting panel approval; great price. Not to mention the people who work there are so friendly and kind. I am disabled and use their mobile shopping carts. I can't begin to tell you how many staff approach me and ask if they can reach something for me or direct me to something I need. Even the shoppers are kind and helpful when I need to reach something and there are no TJ staff around. I love this store! read more

Favorite grocery store to shop at! This location is in a great area and my preferred place to shop. It is about a 15 minute drive for me and I pass lots of other supermarkets but it is completely worth it to shop here. The store is always very clean and well stocked. The staff is always helpful and they all have a smile on their face! You can tell they love where they work and it shows in the stores. I love so many of the Trader Joe's brand items, especially the orange juice! While they don't have huge selections of the products, what they do have is very good quality. Even with the smaller selections I have always been able to find items that I am looking for. This location does have a large wine selection, so I can always stock up on wine for my meals while I am there. I usually always try and buy some of their seasonal candles when I shop. I just got some Gingerbread ones but my all time favorite is the Grapefruit. They are usually $3.99 a candle. Be aware that if you like the scent stock up while you are there. They usually don't last very long and but the next week I go in they are sold out! Even though you wouldn't think it, I usually spend a lot less here for groceries than I do at a big box store and I find that I shop a lot more healthy when I shop here. Every time I have come to the store the staff has been very friendly and helpful. A nice young man helped me pick out some ice cream in the tiny cones. He said it was one of his favorites and now it's one of my favorites. I tried their New England Clam Chowder (not expecting much) in their refrigerated section and it was really good. Every frozen item I have tried has been really good too. They have quality food and excellent pricing. Keep it up Trader Joe's. I meant to thank the manager months back when he walked his customers to their cars with an umbrella when it was raining cats and dogs. Now that is customer service. Lastly, thank you for not having employees standing around staring at their phones. Lack of Customer services and low quality food is rampant but not at Trader Joe's. Such a fun and quirky grocery store. They don't carry every single item but they do have a number of great things at some great prices. You can find everything from dips to cheeses to meat to wine. Some say they would be similar to a Central Market or even possible a Whole Foods. The staff is always around and willing to help out. Which I am always a fan of. The foods are sourced as locally as they can and they do have a lot of organic options. The wine is another big draw for me. They have the $2 buck chuck or a number of options at $1.99 but that's not what I'm after. There are a number or nice Cab's as well as a number of nice Italian wines. This is my favorite Trader Joe's! And I've been to my fare share of TJ's in this country! The layout is so spread out, I can maneuver my stroller and not get in the way of any carts while perusing all the goodness Trader's has to offer. This is such an awesome little supermarket! I have been trying to eat more gluten free, and couldn't find gluten free bread at my regular market. I decided to check here, and besides bread, they have a great selection of gluten free, vegan, and regular products! The supermarket is small, which is actually really nice. It keeps shopping simple and you really focus on the things you need! The staff is all really friendly, and since the space is smaller, you can find staff if you need help really easily. The prices are great too! You would think since stuff is kind of specialty (gluten free, vegan, etc.) that it would be really expensive, but the prices are fair, and some are cheaper than other stores! Free range eggs at Trader Joe's are almost a $1 cheaper than the free range eggs! This is a bit farther from our house than our regular market, but we will be coming here occasionally for our grocery store needs! Also try the pumpkin spice gluten free bagels! SO GOOD! read more

The person who stood out to me the most was one of the workers I believe her name was Reygan or Ragan or something? She was so nice and helpful! One might say I'm somewhat of a TJ's connoisseur as I've been to them all over the world and know good customer service and let me just say this girl has got it!
