Austin was a LOUSY customer service representative for H-E-B. I had 2 coupons. One from HEB for 8$ off and a kitty litter coupon for 4$ off. He literally interrogated me on a store coupon YOUR company sent me in the mail. Stating if the coupon was used before I could not use it again. It was a new coupon and proceed to clip the coupon with sissiors. "He kept telling me "to have a blessed day. " with some serious attitude, I'm not sure why? He was frazzled when I handed him a coupon for 4$ off a 19 lb box of kitty litter. He left the register and said "it was only good on a 15-24 lb box." He went to look at my purchase located in my cart. My purchase was a 19 lb box. Clearly it met the coupons value. He again told me "to have a blessed day. ". I'm taking this attitude as a "screw you customer". I paid and was leaving and the customer behind me said "what about all these other items? " Austin only rang up 1/2 of my shopping cart items. He was so concerned about my 2 (two) coupons. Thinking I was reusing a coupon he was beside himself he forgot to ring up my complete cart. He again told me "to have a blessed day. ". I found this highly offensive because he basically was telling me to "screw you or f?;k off. " he told me approximately 8-10 times without a response from me. I never raised my voice or was rude. He was obsessed with me receiving a discount. Austin does not need to be working with consumers. He also does not know how to make change. Not good for cash paying customers. I never could locate your customer service counter? Do you not have one? I have since been back to this location and I'm still disappointed. January 2025

Did you ever wish you'd kept your mouth shut? A few months ago I ( after a few adult beverages) offered to foot the bill for a fall dinner party featuring Moules fries. The national dish of Belgium. My French speaking Belgium friend offered to cook and I offered to buy. So,here I am scouting HEB for ingredients to bring it all together. This storm looks stunning today with its perfectly stocked aisles. I was just informed an additional two people have been invited. Isn't it funny how the guest list grows when you're not buying. Don't be surprised if you see future post of how it goes down. Meanwhile,I'm stocking up on the essentials.

I love this location. It's a bit of a drive for me but it's no where near as crazy as the Plano location. They always have what I am looking for in stock and the employees are helpful and nice. I especially love the cheese selections. Like.. omg! Every kind of cheese you can think of and then some! The fruits and veggies are fresh which is a huge plus.

We LOVE this HEB!!!! Everything is fully stocked and the employees don't mind helping you look for something.

We don't have supermarkets like this in California. This is like if Tjs, wall mart, Safeway, save mart and food max all came together but this might still be better. This place has everything, a bbq restaurant, bakery, fresh tortillas, sushi, variety of prepared foods and just so much more. They had more types of cheese that I ever knew existed. This market is truly huge so we did not make it to the non food side of the store with pharmacy, furniture, electronics and who knows what else they have here. We found these butter flour tortillas that were so good. High quality items and a great variety my wife detected the fragrance of some Guavas as we walked by the produce department and we got some of those and a few other items we needed for home made pizza. I almost want to move here so i can shop here this place is amazing! My 8 year old self would be lifting his you know what off when you find out what the H-E-B stands for......

I was in the Allen area and needed to pick up a few grocery items and H-E-B Allen was nearby! I bought a couple of the Little John Dwarf Bottlebrush Shrubs. I'm looking to attract some butterflies and pollinators and want to give these a try. I also found my favorite snacking apples - SugarBee! Once I got used to the layout of the store, (it's flipped from the Plano store) I could easily find what I needed. I'm happy shopping at ANY H-E-B in the area!

Great selection of Addison Coffee!!

I am adding a new review update. I have shopped at HEB every week since opening. While I originally loved the store, I cannot keep shopping there if HEB does not make an immediate alteration. Right now, priority is given to large red carts for personal shoppers. They block the aisles. The shoppers are rude. They push in front of paying shoppers. They have no etiquette or opportunity for other shoppers to also complete their business. This is inappropriate and unacceptable. HEB needs to address this. I will not be back in until they make it so I can shop hassle free and alongside - not second to - the red cart shoppers.

Buy local y'all!! TIP: Return this glass container for $$$ back.

I've been a fan girl of the H.E.B. located in Plano (20-minute drive) for over a year now, but when I was able to drive 5 minutes away from my home to an H.E.B., -- this Texas girl was ELATED!! Yep. I'm one of those people who stood in line for the GRAND OPENING this morning!! We were greeted with smiling faces, a store full of promotions and coupons that had me buying a ton of groceries I didn't need, lol. TIP: This Allen location is easy to access, but I'm a little concerned that there will be enough parking. Don't be surprised if you find yourself parking at Kroger across the street.

Moldy organic strawberries.

Of course we were excited to have an HEB, but I have been disappointed more than once, primarily with the produce. I've encounter rude employees and less than appealing fruit and veggies. Today was no exception. Organic strawberries were all moldy and poblano peppers were old and wrinkly to name a few things. Both minor irritation is the kids bucks thing. It rarely had tickets. And whatever the purpose is, why have it if everyone is too busy to maintain it.

Warning - do not buy or ingest!

HEB is a great store. You want the app so you can take advantage off all their deals. Except it to be busy or go during non-peak times.

The core performance appears maintained; what you may be sacrificing is purely cosmetic or aesthetic. Just keep in mind that although it's an outlet, you may still pay premium prices for certain pieces (which isn't surprising given the brand). I was even able to buy a cookbook, "Cook it in your Dutch oven" at a nice discount. Every household should own a Dutch oven! Would def come back if I decided to expand my Le Creuset collection. :)

In between, we had sips of the rose we brought because they're BYOB! Once we got the sauce going, we rolled out our pasta and cut them into strips of fettuccine using a couple of pasta makers. Finally, we chopped up some fresh garlic for garlic bread. I've forgotten her name, but the teacher was very friendly and knowledgeable. She even taught us a cool trick to turn parmesan rinds into delicate crisps. We wrapped up the session by digging into our pasta dishes and snapping some photos to capture the moment! In the case of a grill, it hinges on the salesperson or clerk as the case may be. I have limited knowledge of the natural gas grill I am considering. In light of the several thousand dollars, I intended to spend, my priority was to find someone who wanted to work with and educate me. After visiting other grill dealers in the area and getting a good idea of what I wanted, I came across Barbeques Galore on the internet while searching for info. I had completely forgotten they existed. I have been in other locations a few times and left unimpressed. When I walked in the front door here, I heard two men talking at the front counter. I proceeded to walk that way while looking at the grill display. One of the men (Victor) ask me if he could help me find anything and I said yes, I think you can. I continued looking and rounded the corner away from the front counter and about that time heard, well ok then. I was shocked. He apparently thought I the customer was supposed to walk over and engage him! Needless to say, it didn't go well after that. He did not offer to introduce himself( I knew by his name tag he was Victor) or extend his hand to shake. Wow! After being in sales, service, and management for over 40 years I'm amazed at this type of behavior by people working to sell a product. Obviously, I was taken for granted. I moved on down the street where I had the opposite experience at Firehouse. I was greeted with a friendly smile by Dave and guess what? I bought a very expensive grill from him in about 5 minutes. If you are looking for a grill, don't be mistreated. Shop around.

I never got a solid plan, they hard-sold me high, promising we would reduce it, just to make me sign the contract. (my first mistake) Of course, those meetings to discuss my priorities and reduce the budget, never came. My dream wasn't realized as they either vetoed, forgot or bumbled each feature of my design. Examples: I have a wavy wall, it took them days to correct the paint throughout the house, they flat refused to match my craftsman trim, they forgot my vented kitchen hood, vetoed my transom (they don't even know what that is), failed plumbing inspection three times and nearly blew up my house. (I'm not embellishing) Had to install the cabinets twice (ordered incorrectly and hung at the wrong height), the rough plumbing is so poorly done that the knobs don't sit right and turn lop-sided; failed to contain the renovation dust which covered even stuff inside cabinets and drawers throughout the house. The cleaning crew came multiple times and I still had to hire my own at a cost of $360, to get all the ceiling fans, fixtures, floors, etc. finally clear of dust and paint splatters. They scratched my hardwoods and damaged my stove. To top it off, they stopped paying the subs and one of them put a lien on my house, EVEN though, i was up to date on my payment arrangement. (Yes, that's totally legal, for some reason!) The drama continues as I need help correcting some issues that i don't feel I should have to live with. I don't have the energy to upload pics but maybe later. Just trust me; pick someone else. Signed, Exhausted, Angry and Broke

I will overlook the fact it took twice as long to demo and install new flooring throughout a newly purchased home. What I will NOT overlook is the lack of integrity of this establishment. They quoted an outrageous amount to reset two toilets. It was supposed to be removed from the quote as my husband could handle this task in 30 minutes and save my mom the money. The charge was still on her final bill. Since they did not perform this task, I took her in to ask (owner, Robert) for her money back since they did not reset the new toilets and they came up with a "crap" (pun intended) excuse to not refund her. They claim they had to do extra work to the flange due to the change in old/new flooring height. While we did see a new flange at the secondary bathroom toilets, they did nothing to the primary one. The old and very yucky wax ring was still on there. Beyond removing that my husband had no problem with the reset, so not sure in what way the height mattered....A company with integrity would have verbally explained to an 80ish yo person, that "we credited you here, but had to do xyz for $X amount" upon her final payment. Nope, that did not happen!!! They waited to see if she would notice a $300 charge to reset two toilets (which they did not perform) and explained it away only when she asked to be reimbursed. I call this TAKING ADVANTAGE OF A SENIOR CITIZEN AND FIND IT UNACCEPTABLE. Btw- their skill at installing new baseboards was subpar at best. The foreman tried make her accept to short measurement/cuts made but at my urging she insisted they install new pieces where they were cut short. I do give credit for owner, Robert, who told the foreman to correct whatever pieces she was unhappy with. Just a shame that you need to go to the top in order for the job to be done correctly.
