They just happened to be grilling some jumbo beef hotdogs and burgers, and of course they were passing them out! We were just about to go and pickup some lunch afterwards, so we showed up hungry and we're glad we did! Enjoyed them so much, we ended up buying some too. Also picked up some wings, sweet breads organic ground beef & various other cuts of meat. We spent less than we usually do at other grocery stores & the quality is way better. There is always someone who is offering you help finding what you're looking for too.

They were both very good, we got second rounds of it too. Food wise, the happy oysters were great and refreshing. We tried oysters from multiple different locations. Hot food were solid. Fried calamari, jumbo lump crab cakes with sautéed spinach and mashed potatoes, fish and chips with cheesy grits were all good! Service was a little slow, but we went during half priced wine bottles which made sense. Everyone was nice and helpful though! Ambiance was very nice too. Definitely recommend!

They utilize team approach where someone else brought the drinks and food runners brought the food. Manager checked on us to make sure everything was good. Our water glasses were never empty. I ordered a Bloody Mary that they returned with a shrimp and celery stick. Nice touch. I specifically went here to try their soft shell crab and it did not disappoint. Others in the party had lobster rolls and the fried shrimp basket. I forgot to mention that we had the appetizers , crab hush puppies and fried oysters and both were excellent. We also tried the bread pudding and key lime pie for dessert that we really liked. Overall we would definitely return.

They've got the meats! LOL…read more This is my favorite place to shop for meat, fish, seafood, and some hard to find and unique frozen foods and dessert. Wild Fork has better prices on high quality meats than other grocery stores. Their triple blend burgers (brisket, chuck, and short rib) are restaurant quality and reasonably priced. They also have some items you rarely find in America like ground Ostrich. I haven't tried it, but I'm open to it. The staff is friendly and always available to help or answer questions. The store is pretty on the inside and well laid out. I suggest going when you have time to walk up and down each aisle. Even though I have a list, it takes me a while to decide on what I'll buy because they have so much to offer. This trip I got those burgers, brioche buns, frozen yucca chunks, steak, branzino, and a ton of other items that I had not intended on buying, but just couldn't pass on. They do have some nice sales as well! This location is in a shopping center with plenty of parking. The store is medium size, but it will take you a while to get through all the interesting offerings.

This is, by far, the best 大排档-style Cantonese restaurant to open in DFW in recent years. There…read morearen't many places here that serve this style of Cantonese food authentically, and this one easily stands out for both quality and execution. The prices are slightly on the higher side, but the ingredients are fresh, the portions are reasonable, and every dish we ordered was cooked exceptionally well. As someone who cooks Cantonese food regularly and has eaten extensively across Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Malaysia, and Singapore, I can honestly say the standard here exceeds most Cantonese restaurants in the area. The chef is from Guangzhou, and it definitely shows. The Beef Hor Fun (Dry Fried Beef Rice Noodles) was excellent. The wok hei was fragrant without being overly smoky, the noodles weren't greasy, and the bean sprouts were still crisp. That's the benchmark for a well-executed hor fun. The Salted Fish Chicken & Eggplant Clay Pot was another standout. The eggplant had clearly been lightly fried before being braised, giving it a wonderful texture--soft but not mushy, fragrant, and not overly oily. It paired perfectly with a bowl of white rice. My only minor comment is that I personally prefer a stronger salted fish flavor, having enjoyed this dish in many places across Southeast Asia. That's purely personal preference rather than a criticism. The biggest surprise of the night was the 香顶面. I didn't even get a photo because we finished it before I remembered! It was incredibly fragrant, the shrimp were very fresh, and the flavors were unlike anything I've had elsewhere in DFW. Definitely a must-order. The restaurant itself is small, with only about six tables, giving it a cozy neighborhood feel. Despite its size, they offer impressively fresh seafood and dishes that are prepared with great attention to detail. Overall, this is a fantastic find. The pricing reflects the quality of the ingredients and cooking, and it's well worth it if you're looking for authentic Cantonese cuisine rather than the usual Americanized Cantonese fare. We'll definitely be back to work our way through the rest of the menu. 5 stars. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates true Cantonese cooking.

Lots of jalapeños but they weren't really spicy so it wasn't detrimental to enjoyment of dish. We got a small our first time and it was definitely enough for 3 people - Salted fish chicken eggplant: tasty and aromatic dish, Angela one of the owners said it's a super traditional canto dish. Eggplant was well cooked and the flavors were solid. Nothing mindblowing but good home cooking, prob would've been better over white rice. - Scallion chicken (half): pretty tender but flavor didn't really penetrate all the way through... probably the weakest dish both times we came. White meat not the juiciest I've had sadly. - Garlic fried eggplant: had this the second time we came because of a seafood allergy at the table and it was so good, one of our faves for sure. - Laziji (spicy fried chicken): MIL said this is probably the best version of this dish she's had in DFW. Really good and quite spicy so beware! - Razor clams: on the pricier side but really well flavored and super fresh. - Garlic butter prawns (or something like that): so well fried, huge, and delicious. You just can't go wrong with anything prawn related on the menu. Love that white rice is priced super reasonably here (50 cents for a decently sized individual bowl). Will be back!
