I asked where on the Gulf Coast and the reply was that the clerk did not know. Purchased several pieces of fish and then ordered the Gulf Coast oysters as I did not feel like shucking any!! I grew up in Galveston Texas and have eaten a lot of seafood- these oysters were inedible and could have severely injured an individual! Sad to say but I could have gotten better oysters from the Houston ship channel than these! The young man that waited on us should have trashed these oysters earlier. This is a business that has no regards for its customers safety!!

In my attempts to call at least three different stores, I get the "Third Degree" as to WHY I wish to call the store...with THIS particular store (Preston and Belt Line, Addison, TX), my reply that I preferred to speak with someone at the actual store was not sufficient, and I was told they DON'T HAVE A NUMBER! RIDICULOUS! In another situation, it took me quite some time convincing a call center rep to get the Wylie, TX location's number until I gave the reason that I was an EXCELLENT customer, but that could quickly change if I was not given the local number! It was only then that it was, grudgingly, given. Perhaps "Corporate" needs reminding that Central Market, Captain Dave's, Hirsch's Meats, etc. are just short jaunts away and I can directly speak to those at each actual location with ease. Again, no complaints with the stores, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who has received the "Third Degree" treatment and I hate to think the stores will suffer for it. In a world being overtaken with AI, much can be said for "one on one" CUSTOMER SERVICE that those at corporate levels appear to have forgotten and place too far down on their list of what is truly important.

We have tried calling customer service, using the chat feature on the main website and calling the store. The store number does not work, no one from main customer service has called us back with any answers, I spent 35 minutes waiting for a response on the chat line and then was disconnected. We will not try this store, or any Wild Fork store, again.
