I was so excited this place reopened, my husband and I used to come before they closed for renovations. The wait staff was very attentive, the food could've been better. It was not hot when brought to our table. The lady bartender was more than rude, she was awful. I overheard her talking to one of the wait staff and was appalled at how she treated him. Upper management should get that under control and maybe add some heat lamps so the food doesn't get cold. read more

We arrived at 1210pm, 10 minutes after opening. After being told the buffet offered a salad and pizza of your choice, which we ordered, and then informed that due to large party next to us, it would be awhile before our pizza came out. While all of this was being relayed I noticed 3 Togo pizzas leaving. after paying for our beer we didn't drink and tipping the waitress, we left. it's unfortunate that folks will ask for reviews and your business only to leave you feeling discarded. very disappointing read more

Nice hidden gem! Great bar! Pizzas are delish and all thin crust! Yay! Don't overwhelm it with tons of toppings or a thin crust can't manage it. Must try the fries uber good! Service a little slow but super friendly. Some people weren't very friendly, but not a business issue, just a few rude patrons ‍ Walk up the spiral staircase to play some pool or have a little gathering. This place was a nice surprise while passing through town. Loved the specials and the pizza. There was live music! Very quaint and friendly.

Came into this place to eat for the 1st time. Sat down and a very sticky table and waited to be greeted. We were greeted by our waitress, not sure her name since she didn't introduce herself, we ordered cheese sticks and 2 Dr Peppers. About 15 minutes passed and my husband flagged her down so we could order, mind you, the place was not busy. When she came over she asked if we were alright and we said we wanted to order. She took our order, which was 2 BLT's and said our cheese sticks would be out shortly as they have to double baked. After 36 minutes later, she came with our cheese sticks, which should not have taken more than 10 minutes to cook. We explained we were just going to leave as waiting over 40 minutes for an appetizer was too long and how much longer for the BLT's. She apologized but nothing else. Maybe the food is good, not sure, but if you are hungry this is not the place for you as your appetizer will arrive 30-40 minutes after ordering and I am to assume my meal will be an hour. read more

Options in rural areas are extremely limited, The Loft has it's good and not-so-good, but i'm glad there are open in Whiteright. The Good: -Seat yourself at the bar, or at tables that seat 2, 4, or more. -Friendly Wait staff quickly get your drink order and your drinks and are attentive and personable. No attitude here. Waitstaff are attentive, but not disruptive. -Cheese pizza is a an amazingly think cracker style crust with what tastes like pizza sauce from scratch and good quality cheese. The thin crust is great for diabetics or KETO folks who want to limit their carbs. -Lots of parking on grand avenue, next to the Loft. -Live music after 630pm. The Not So Good: -Live music after 630pm can be quite loud, making it difficult to talk. -Most storefronts adjacent to The Loft are empty, giving it a ghost town vibe on life support. -The kitchen is very very small, and the result is food can take 15-20 minutes for a sandwich or pizza. More when it is really busy. Use the time to enjoy an adult beverage or don't go when you are starving and ready to pass out from lack of food. -The kitchen has messed up my wife's sandwich order on both visits so far. They don't understand "light mayo" and slathered it with Mayo. Easily fixed by scraping it off, but they clearly don't pay attention to the food ticket. 2nd time it was BLT, with "bacon and MORE bacon" and there were 3 strips of bacon total and of course, heavy mayo. Wife asked for 'more bacon' and they cooked it and brought it out, and the sandwich was remade due to drowning it in mayo. Unfortunately, the french fries were then cold (they didn't reheat or remake). Overall, the friendly waitstaff did what they could to make it right. Same person in the kitchen cooking both times. -No coke zero fountain drinks. Overall, I recommend because rural areas have almost no options and at least some of the folks are really trying who work at the Loft. Unsolicited advice for the manager is to get hands on with the kitchen staff because it's either FOOD or BOOZE that keeps the restaurant going. read more

I honest to god would rate this negative stars if I could. (Before I completely bash this place the waitress we had both times was a nice enough person but everyone else....) First time we went they took forever to check on us and just wasn't great we ended up leaving because we had been there 40 mins and had not received food. Second time, we sat down and the table was super sticky, it also was extremely wobbly. Staff didn't offer to wipe it off or anything. While I was otw to the bathroom to get paper towels to wipe it down myself some worker was carrying in a keg. I looked at him and said "got it man?" He responded with yeah no thanks to your f**king help. I am astonished that any manager or owner lets there employees talk to customers like that. -10/10 will never do again. If your hungry in this small town go to rock yard or even sonic if you care about customer service at all. read more

I've been eating at The Loft for several years now. I've never been disappointed. From the burgers to the daily specials to the wings, it's all so delicious. I've actually never tried their pizza so that is next on my list. We have always gotten great service as well. 2020 was a challenge for family owned restaurants but The Loft was able to transition to curbside orders with no trouble. Such a great hole-in-the-wall gem! We wanted to check out a new place and had heard great things about The Loft. So happy we listened because this Pub did not disappoint. As soon as you walk inside, you are greeted with a very cool atmosphere surrounded in historic brick walls, a long fully stocked bar, and the friendliest wait staff and bartender around... service was great! Now to the food, I have celiac (gluten allergy) and I figured I could only have salad, but turns out they have many menu choices offered gluten free, including their amazing pizza which is from scratch and you can watch them hand toss the dough while waiting in anticipation! You cannot go wrong when ordering their hot wings, hand-tossed pizza, burgers, and the oh so delicious buffalo chicken sandwich with homemade onion rings, (at least that's what my husband tells me :) If you are on the fence about checking this place out, just goooooooo!!! I've been here twice before where my family and I received excellent service. Last night was a different story! Our waitress was far from friendly and the food was okay. The biggest issue my family and I had with this establishment was after we had left. 20-30 minutes after we paid and left we stood outside by our vehicles talking. A man who I believe to be a manager if not the owner came out and lingered around our cars until we asked him if everything was okay. He then preceded to ask why we "slighted" his waitress and why we didn't leave her a tip. Not only was I VERY offended that he thought we slighted his staff, but I was even more offended that 20 minutes AFTER we left he approached us at our car!! We in fact did leave her a $6+ tip for her crappy service. I will NOT return to this place after this behavior. I'm still stunned! read more

I suspect this place is only still in business because they have absolutely no competition and people send money on alcohol. Went in, sat at the bar and got the feeling I was invisible, the waitstaff didn't acknowledge my presence although the waitress walked within 5 feet of me twice. There was no bartender to order from so after sitting for 5-7 minutes I decided that if the staff was this inattentive, the food must not be very good. They can't even get a simple phone in pizza order correct. Ordered half pepperoni half cheese and they gave us full pepperoni. Talked to the owner and was rude and she told me her employees don't make simple mistakes. I spend any where from $60 to $80 a week in there just in food. She just lost a customer. read more
