This place never disappoints, the service is great and the food is always on point. If your around Rockwall, TX this place is a must eat you will not be disappointed. The scalloped taters are good only a couple times I've been here and the taters were undercooked but it was still good the sautéed spinach love it. read more

Sorry folks, a true disappointment. The review is mainly due to Covid. I saw a man in the kitchen holding tongs with no mask. The bar area inside was extremely crowded. We got our order to go and they wouldn't give us plates or utensils when I asked. The pizza was dry but the marina sauce was good. The cheesy bread lacked flavor and was too greasy. The fried pickles were flavorless. The shrimp sliders had good flavor but still meh. I realize this is a local favorite but it is not a place I would go back too. Two thumbs down. read more

I have been to Pizza-Getti about five times now and have ordered several different dishes during my visits. The food in a nutshell is wonderful. The pizza (which is what I order the most while there) is in my opinion, better than what you're going to get at Pizza Hut or Domino's. It is non-greasy like big chain pizzerias, crunchy with thin crust, and you can request pretty much any type of topping. I would recommend the pepperoni with hamburger; simple, yet delicious. The Italian Nachos are probably the best appetizer they offer. Just make sure you have someone with you because it comes in a large quantity, and you can over-indulge easily. The ravioli dish is great for a lunch, but maybe not so much for dinner as I was surprised that I did not get a larger serving. However it is better than any store-bought ravioli you're going to find. But I guess if you order Italian Nachos with the Ravioli, you'd leave full and happy. As for the ambiance of the restaurant, the facility is divided into two sections: the dining area and "Samees Place", which is a bar. Although I have only dined in the bar section, the dining area seems like a good place for a casual, relaxed dinner. Samee's Place is great too. The only problem is it's relatively small in comparison to the dining area, and they often have more customers than the bar area will hold. However, if you love the bar scene, even equipped with karaoke, then waiting for a table to open up is definitely worth the wait. The owners of the restaurant, as well as the entire staff is very accommodating. I have never once had a complaint about the personnel employed there. Usually you can find Samee and his wife at the restaurant on Friday and Saturday nights going from table to table, greeting and talking with everyone. This is one of the reasons I love small businesses in comparison to large chain restaurants: The owners and staff seem to care about your experience more and want to present themselves to get on your level. Aside from the smaller size of the bar, I have to say this is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to. It has it all: Friendly owners and staff, low prices, and best of all, amazing food. I look forward to returning again soon. read more

Shout out to our waitress Kendhal! She was super friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and attentive! The food was great and priced well. We'll definitely be back! read more

Samee's Pizza Getti - Chicken Angelica! A must try! - Pizza Near Me - Rockwall, Texas

Definitely not your typical "corporate" Italian restaurant, which is why I liked it. It has the feel of a small family establishment, and is very "family" friendly. We showed up with a group of 13, half of which were kids, and they quickly sat us and served us with a smile. The Palermo Pizza my Mama had was made by the owner himself (according to our server), and was amazing. The chicken parm made Mrs. Enzo very happy (photo of me sampling when she was not looking), and we all know "Happy Wife Makes Happy Life", so thank you Samee I owe you one. read more

Best Pizza in Town... Crustless Meat Special is awesome!! All his Pizzas are delicious. You wont be disappointed!

Great Italian food and even bigger portions. Pizza is top notch too! Dishes the family likes are the ravioli, spaghetti and meatballs and the pizza read more

From the amazing owner to the amazing food, everything is always perfect. Without a doubt best place to eat in Rockwall!

Best pizza in town with excellent service to boot! We are regulars here. It is rare that you won't see Samee himself doing everything from greeting customers to cooking food to bussing tables. Great hometown restaurant with hard working, friendly staff. The creamy jalapeño soup on Thursdays and poblano soup on Fridays is worth the trip alone! Never tried anything on the menu that wasn't amazing and the kids love the conversation cards (one the table) and pizza dough too. Family friendly place for sure. read more

Great family owned and ran business, with very good food and service. Lots of variety, and will custom make orders to suit your taste if requested. They also give back to the community in a big way which says a loot about the owners. Give it a try and you will likely become a fan and supporter. read more

I really wanted to like this place. Ordered to go, staying in a hotel, told 25 minutes till it was ready. Turned out to be 40, ok, it was crowded, I'll be patient. Got the food and left, .3 miles back to hotel, food was cold and no utensils. I'll take the hit on no utensils, but to wait and have cold food, not acceptable. read more

We had samme's pizza today... I went here because we were in Rockwall and I love trying different pizza places wherever we go... I almost gave in to five guys, but my sweet family decided to let us try it..... I'll start with what my son said... Before we prayed for our meal... He snuck a bite.....He said, "if there is a pizza in Heaven, it would taste like this".... My little girl said "It would be better in Heaven"... He said I don't know if it could "Ha... Anyways, I've been looking for a new favorite pizza place, I think I've found it... Totally worth trying, and the service was really good... I'm thinking of bringing one home back to Greenville before we leave tomorrow.... We love Andy's when it was in Greenville, but I think I have a new favorite.. Thank you read more

Great value and service. Excellent venue for lunch or supper. Vodka sauce is excellent.

party of 2 visited the restaurant at 8:30 pm sat night hoping to be in and out for a movie nearby on a tight schedule and had no trouble,. very active and steady crowd kept everyone busy. an adorable child near us wanted to join the fun in the kitchen she was observing, we were tickled. Chicken Angelica was as succulent as I had expected from other patrons, well flavored potatoes, vegetable slightly overcooked- however the dinner salad had made up for it. Spaghetti and meat sauce a big home run. Server reminded herself aloud she had forgotten the bread and was bringing it repeatedly, we finally told her we would not need it as our portions were to be plenty. many diets discuss no bread, so we looked at is as optional. one suggestion- i was steadily concerned of beverages spilling on the table as it wobbled terribly, an easy fix however very noticable. overall happy with the dining experience, recommend it, and plan to return. it was obvious staff and samee were being very attentative. we witnessed a patron being denied alcohol service who had too much, which we can appreciate. hands full in a full house. read more

We recently moved here from garland where our normal joint was Eddies Napoli, well this place is literally the BEST pizza I've ever had, idk what it is. The pizza doesn't look impressive when you open the box and we were sceptical but it was love at first bite. The only reason I put 4 instead of 5 star was I wish their pizzas were a little bigger for the price that you are paying, if I'm paying 17 for a large I would like it to be able to feed the whole family read more

It was just ok. I was completely underwhelmed by the salmon Milan. It was bland and flavorless. The restroom was completely disgusting and needed a severe cleaning. If I had seen that before eating we would have left before. I can only imagine what the kitchen looked like. read more

Food is always great, and the one time it wasn't the usual greatness- still good though, Samee insisted on making it over. He is always welcoming and eager to please any time I've been in there. As I said in my earlier review the pizza was excellent and when we choose to dine in nothing changed. They have great pizza hands down. We have been back three times and I must say the service we had from the servers was near perfect. Next time in we will further explore their menu beyond the pizza! read more

We had a great meal. Sammy greeted us and prepared my meal himself. Angie our server was so helpful!!! I'll be back.

My husband and I used to go to Pizza Getti regularly, and we thought it was the best cheap Italian restaurant in the area. However, our most recent visit left us disappointed. It seems they shrunk the menu by quite a bit, as there are far fewer options than before and my favorite ravioli had been removed from the menu. Additionally, the food we ordered, a pasta that was one of the day's specials, and a buffalo chicken pizza, left much to be desired. The pasta was was very gooey, and I could tell the chicken was previously frozen, it had that dry texture and flavor to it. Additionally, the pizza was burnt and lacked much flavor. This was surprising considering the quality I'm used to from this place. The appetizer, garlic cheese bread, was the only standby that was as good as we remembered. The service was good as usual. I am not sure why the menu changed, definitely for the worst. I hope this restaurant will bring back the old menu. Until then I think we will be going to a different Italian place. read more

AMAZING FOOD. Great entertainment. Hands on/caring owner. 5 Stars. A definite place to try in Rockwall.

Expected better after reading reviews. A little pricey. Thought the pizza was heavy, not due to toppings like a Chicago style, but too much dough. Hamburger topping was cheap processed, not fresh beef. Will not be back. read more

Worst service I've ever had. The owner was a complete jerk. I will absolutely never come back again. Nor do I recommend anyone coming here ever. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

Came here to use a groupon coupon. I've been here several times but this is the first time I'm writing a review. On the few occassions when I've ordered the special steak that is not on the menu and served only on Fridays, I've loved my experience. But on the other occasions when I ordered something different - mmmm, not so much. On this last visit, my son & I both ordered cesear salads with our entrees. It was so bad that my son left it uneaten after two bites and I finished mine only because I hate to waste food. My kid ordered some kind of salmon that was served on a bed of flash fried spinach. The picture on the Groupon advertisement looked fantastic, but the actual food did not live up to what beckoned on the picture. He finished the salmon but left the spinach (which he normally likes). No problem - I'll finish it off. No could do. It was so greasy that I just left it behind as well. I don't recall what I ordered (probably some kind of chicken dish), and it was lackluster. When I told my kid we were eating here for dinner that night, he protested and I assured him that it would be good. As we left I promised I would never take us there for dinner again. That being said, the owner is super-nice and friendly and always welcoming but the food is nothing to write home about. Sorry. read more

Pizzas are loaded with toppings, they do not skimp! They have a dining area and a bar area, I sat in the bar side and got great service, food was hot and delicious never had to wait on my next beer. Upbeat environment, good food, cold beer and friendly staff. read more

We liked the Italian nachos with sausage, very good. We had the deluxe pizza, which was delicious with generous toppings. We had the Filet marsala which was so juicy and tender it one of the best we've ever had. The Chicken Angelica was so wonderful mere words don't do it justice. The chicken was tender and stuffed with the best flavors. The Nutella cheesecake was out of this world good. I highly recommend this restaurant. The owner is very nice as well. read more

I honestly couldn't say better things about this restaurant. From delivery orders, dine in with the fam, or drinks out with friends, Samee's got it all ON POINT!! This is the most welcoming restaurant/bar I've ever been too and sooo happy that it's right here in my backyard!! read more

I was referred here so I ordered pizza to go. The pizza was good, comparable to other pizza restaurants in the area, but the customer service, not so much. This is a family restaurant, but I didn't see the family friendly environment. The girls at the front desk were very polite but the owner...again, not so much. There was some confusion at the beginning of the conversation, and he thought I said something, he heard me incorrectly, that offended him and he was very rude and unprofessional. I was shocked, paid for my pizza and left. He yelled in my direction as I was walking out the door never to come back! Not a problem! He always has Groupon promotions too, so if you really want to try this place I would wait until you see it on Groupon. read more

Very disappointed read some good reviews so I thought I give a shot took my 2 year old son with me so I made a quick stop to buy him a toy so I can eat while he plays I thought there was 2 other tables away from me as soonest we sat down he started playing with new toy and Owner comes tells me to keep it down in a rude way not even a welcome first I didn't see any signs of kids not friendly besides I was not going to make my kid cry by taking away his toy so now I'm having dinner in a better place! ! Of course I'm not coming back! !! You didn't give a chance to correct it I was only there 3 minus but who cares I'm not coming back there any more read more

Best Italian food and pizza in Rockwall. Samee and his wife are almost always at the restaurant overseeing the energetic cooks and staff. Try the crust free pizza as an alternative to bread. We had the beef tortellini, the pizza, the chicken parm, shrimp Alfredo and the meatball spaghetti. The chicken parm was great out of all the meals we've had. Pizza-Getti is a decent go-to for quick Italian food. Their Clyde's Salad is crisp lettuce, 2 kinds of olives, good house dressing and (I love this) optional anchovies! I got 5 extra large anchovies for free! For my salad! Excellent! The baked ziti was ok, it was basically ziti with tomato sauce, then cheese, then heated. It wasn't actually baked like a casserole but it was good and inexpensive. The pizzas are the stand out here, though, and they have take out. SO, it's inexpensive, it's fast and it's good, not great. read more

My brother and I came here for lunch this week. The owner is friendly, the atmosphere is very warm and inviting, and the service was very good. The reason why I am not rating pizza ghetti higher is because of the pizza. When I get it to go its cripsy, and just about perfect with topping distribution. This is the first time I have dined here, and the pizza was not good. In fact, it was bad. The crust had great color so we were excited to dive in. The problem was the middle was so soggy the "crust" had the texture of a sponge. It had too much sauce. This could have been a contribution to the soggy issue. Anyway, I am willing to try it again because I have had good experiences when I order it to go. I will update when I do that. read more

Absolutely horrible service and food that was only mediocre. I got the fettuccine alfredo with shrimp; the shrimp were huge and delicious, the pasta and sauce were kind of bland, but not horrible. My boyfriend got the Chicken Angelica and said everything was overloaded with salt. We had no silverware until we asked, right when the food was brought out, which was very useless since my boyfriend's salad was brought out way earlier. They also were out of the berry tart, which was disappointing. read more
