My brother and I came here for a late dinner at 9:30 on a Thursday night. We were under the impression that the dining side was open till midnight .The staff was courteous and allowed us to stay a little past 10. We ordered the Palermo pizza which came out in reasonable timing and was delicious. I didn't think that shrimp on a pizza could work, but I was definitely proved wrong! Also, I liked how the full bar applied to the restaurant. One suggestion would be to get local beers. read more

Overall a solid meal. I ordered the chicken trapani for delivery while I was working in the area. They advertised free delivery so I did not think it would be an issue to order one meal, however when ordering I was explained that they do have a $15 food minimum for delivery. No worries, I ordered a salad to go along with my meal. When my order arrived the items must not have been very secure because the bags were a messy. The chicken had a good flavor but honestly the mozzarella on top was not necessary (first time I have said that!) The potato soup was not my favorite, although not bad and there was a small serving of roasted vegetables with the chicken. I would return if in the area again, however I likely will not crave this food at home. read more

The salads were prepared quickly and they were delicious. Here comes the BUT. But the sausage pizza was chewy and bland and tasted like an old rubber tire, I expected better after hearing so many great comments from friends. Okay so the bulk of my 4 star rating is because of the following: 1. Love the owner and staff. The nicest people ever. You really want to give them business. They are so wonderful. How they were able to get food to people during the Texas arctic freeze was amazing. How they sell shirts, hoodies, and caps that say Faith Over Fear. I love everything about it. This is a top notch owner. I really want to see him be successful. God bless them. 2. The pepperoni pizza is pretty good. I usually order extra sauce. 3. They have curbside pickup which is awesome!! 4. I don't trust any other place to deliver food to my house but I do trust this place. Here is what I'm not thrilled about it and this is really just a preference thing. I love spaghetti but I love that homemade kind with the Ragu, hamburger meat, garlic bread, etc. The kind my parents used to make or that most of us make when we go to the grocery store and make it at home. I was really hungry for spaghetti so I ordered it from here and I did not like it at all. The meat sauce tasted like spicy sausage and not regular hamburger meat. The meatballs were okay I guess. The spaghetti tasted like salt. I honestly was so disappointed. But that may just be me. I was really wanting some home cooked spaghetti and instead got this and it wasn't good. Also, and it's hit or miss, sometimes when I order pizza there is very little sauce on it. I've learned to order the pepperoni pizza and not the hamburger. The hamburger just tastes like meat on pizza bread. You lose the sauce or it dries up in the meat or something. But I'll still be going here because I love the people. I love who they are and how they treat the community and how much they do for the community. I want to see them succeed so badly. If they could just make me a bowl of spaghetti that takes me back to my parent's house when my Dad used to make it with a jar of Ragu, hamburger meat, etc then I'll be living the life! read more

Went here after a long day working on our house. I was hoping to find a family run Italian restaurant near our new home. This is it! Four of us were seated right away. The service was on point and very friendly. We ordered the jalapeño mozzarella sticks, yummmm with a kick. The Caesar salad was fresh and had a unique flavorful dressing. We ordered the pizza meat lovers. Good toppings and authentic sauce. My husband's manicotti was fantastic! It had that deep rich flavorful sauce I've been searching for. Ok kids... I've not sampled the food fare but I have sampled the "club" "adult" fare. I like it, its cozy, the service was great, it's not pretentious and the karaoke was pretty solid. I don't know if it'd be this good every time but I have to go with how it was for me this evening. I'm told by friends that the pizza is to die for... of course this is from someone who's never been to Chicago or New York,so I pretty much have to discount her raves straight up. We'll give it a whirl and I'll report back ;) If you're looking for a nice neighborhood bar vibe, this would be the place. They have the pizza I grew up on (I lived near the Dallas one growing up) and it is my favorite pizza in the world. YUM!! Today I had lunch there with my daughter and ordered the Molly salad and french onion soup. Soup was so-so, more Italian onion with a lighter broth(might have been chicken instead of the typical beef you usually find in french onion) I wouldnt order it again. The owner came by and gave us free garlic bread to go with it and that was YUMMY! The Molly salad wasnt my taste. The flavors didnt go together in my opinion so, I sent it back and got a Ceasar salad that while tasty had way too much dressing on it so, I couldnt eat but a few bites. So, my advice is stick with the pizza! It was nice and quiet until right before we left and another customer had them turn on sports, loudly. :( read more

The waitresses are way too busy socializing. Great pizza if ordered for delivery. Don't expect even "okay" service if the waitress doesn't already know you. My wife scheduled a romantic dinner for my 40th birthday for us in downtown Dallas but we chose to make it a family event and she (highly) recommended Samee's as a place she has been here multiple times and was convinced I would enjoy it. I looked over the menu at home and the pictures looked great, so we went. Samee's is apparently popular and with good reason - the food is good too...very good. We got there and there was a small line which is to be expected on a Saturday evening, especially with Texas college football teams playing. We were able to get a table in the bar area and our night began. Our server came up and gave us menus and took a drink order. So far, so good. We were sat right underneath a speaker which was almost deafening so we moved a couple of tables in and notified our server. He politely turned down the speaker a bit which made it a little easier to somewhat converse. I get it...we are in a bar area. It was just a little louder than most. We place our order. 2 apps, a small pizza, salad for the wife and an entree for me with a side salad. About 10-15 minutes later, my son's pizza showed up (as a kids instead of a small). I'm a little surprised by this since our apps didn't come, but I also know that some restaurants push out the kids food a little bit quicker. No harm no foul - he is eating and enjoying it. 3 minutes later, my entree comes out. No apps, no salad, my wife's salad didn't come but my hot entree was served. :/ About 3 minutes later, her salad came out. Looked and tasted fine - very minimal dressing. If we were having a better experience, I would ask - but at this point our meal is being served backwards and I was kinda done. 2 minutes later, my salad came out. I've already started my entree because it was getting cold waiting for my wife's - but my salad came. We still haven't gotten our apps yet. I told the waiter to forget them since we were all served and he said they were being done and wouldn't be on my bill. A nice gesture, but unnecessary at this point as we aren't really going to eat them. One of the apps came out when I finished my entree. The second we figured was just forgotten and we were fine with that but alas - it showed up almost simultaneously with the check. Our server, runner and I am guessing a floor manager were very apologetic which was appreciated, but the meal was just ruined at that point. We got our second app in a to go box and left quickly. I did want a large Margherita pie to go because the food did taste well. I just didn't want to have to deal with our server or apologies anymore and we left. 3.5-4 stars for the food. Chicken Marsala had a good taste to it, sauce was thick and mushrooms were good. Chicken was a little dry, but slightly. Wife's salad had almost no dressing. I got more dressing on my side salad with my entree then she got for her full salad as a meal. We weren't going to ask for more dressing because at that point, we just wanted to leave. Son was happy with his food. Zero-0.5 stars for service. The entire meal was messed up delivery wise. End of the day, I would give it one more chance - but most likely pick up. read more

I will say that the food is really good here, but I wish I could say the same thing about the service. Today I walked in and sat at the bar. The bartender looked at me, and kept talking to her friend. Then she refilled her friends drink (all the while talking back and forth) and I still don't even have a drink. When it became clear that I was not going to get served, I left. And I wish I could say that this was the first time that this has happened. Again, the food is really good there but I don't know if it is worth the lousy service when there are other places that are eager to please. I may give it a try in a few months. Hands down, this is the place to dine in, or order delivery from if you want amazing food! Samee is an amazing host and business owner. Once you dine here, he will remember every time you come back and typically greets you with a hug. My favorite thing that is not on the menu is the Alfredo Pepperoni Pizza. Chicken Alfredo is insane good. All fresh ingredients! Oh, they also have the best chicken wings in town! It's not dominoes, so don't expect it fast or cheap. Quality ingredients/recipes take time, love and money. Another part of being a great business owner in Rockwall, is giving back to the community that you live in, and serve. I can't believe how rude the owner of the restaurant is. First off I ordered an extra large pizza with 4 toppings. I paid cash. The nice delivery guy came and dropped off the pizza and gave me the wrong change. I have him 50, he gave me back 12$. I called back, as I was I opened the box and found the pizza was turned over and all the toppings were on one side. As I spoke to the owner of place and he was so rude he would not let me speak. He kept talking over me. I tried to explain not only had I been short changed but my pizza was messed up. He said he was making a new one and they would bring my change and take back the other pizza. I'm sorry no. When you make that many mistakes and are rude, you should eat the cost, make a new one and give me back all my money. Isn't that just good business practice?? Not this jerk. He said he would charge me another delivery fee and get my pizza to me in another half hour. I'm at work, I do not have another half hour to wait because you can't get my order right the first time. I finically was so tires of arguing with the idiot I told him to cancel my order, and he hung up on me. I did nothing wrong. He said the reason I was short changed is because I said I was paying with 40$. I had a 50$ bill. It his responsibility to have enough change with his drivers regardless of what I am paying with. He also said my pizza was turned over because I ordered too many toppings. Yes, it my fault. I expected good customer service and I was wrong. Never again!! You are the liar and the bully. I am a small business owner. It is my responsibility to have correct change regardless of any situation. I never said watch this I'm going to get a free pizza. How am I in any wrong here??? Been a long time since we've come here. We used to love the pizza and just kinda stopped eating pizza. They've changed ownership and this crew has it going on. Some really good apps, amazing cream of Cauliflower soup, seriously would rival any fine restaurants soup. The two dishes were seriously like we were at a actually fine Italian restaurant and not a pizza place. The new owner Greats you and welcomes the frequent diners by name. The place is still the sane building, not super nice but the place is totally different for the better. Waitress is just honest and down to earth. I asked her what's the pepperoncini sauce like, she's forgets about being proper and just straight honestly comes out with "it's amazing, I could drink it with a straw" well that's when I knows she telling the truth and I want some of that. So I have been going to Samee's for years. Always a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and customer service off the charts. Fast forward to June 7,2018 and it's anniversary day. Go there order food, was told it would be 45 minutes. Turned out it was much longer, like 2 hours. But, Samee and his incredible staff stepped up and had me out in 1 hour and 5 minutes. While visiting family in Rockwall, our eldest grandson decided he wanted Italian for his birthday dinner. His request was Bucca di Beppo. We recommended Samee's, which he reluctantly agreed to. Boy; was he in for a surprise!!! The food is excellent and features some surprises as well. In addition to serving superb pizza Samee fires up some real deal Italian. From Salmon Milan to Shrimp Scampi Pizza with Alfredo Sauce, everything is delicious! I finally ask what's up and my name.has been marked off the list and I'm told i should have already been seated. I tell the manager who is there that we did not receive a call at the number we left. He dismissed it and says we will try and seat me next. No apology, no 3xcuse just deal with it. My companions were livid. We left as the manager just seemed to dismiss.my complaint and did not care that we had waited our turn but did not even receive a call or text. Why take our number if you aren't going to use it? Oh my love! This place is sooooo good! The both times I've eaten here have been togo. The first was wings, salad and pizza. Side story: I forgot my wallet but had a check and the owner was so kind to accept it. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! The wings were perfectly crisp and spicy. Tonight it was pizza and chicken Parmesan with alfredo noodles. The chicken was amazing, will definitely get again. The place both times has been crazy busy, but the food to go is always warm! My friend told me they are family owned and make the best pizzas so I thought my wife and I would try it for lunch today 9/1/19. We got a meat lovers. The wife and I ate one piece each before noticing the amount of dough in the crust. The 10" pizza crust was cooked on the bottom, but doughy on top. The cooked part was as thin as 10 sheets of paper. The doughy part was like 50 sheets of paper. Pizza hut never has doughy crust. I told the waitress about the problem and she came back with the cook and I showed him the thick section of dough all over the pizza. I said something is wrong. Either the oven temperature is off or the dough is bad (no yeast). All he did was talk back to me saying it just need to be cooked longer. I said if he did he would burn the bottom. He was closed minded and arrogant. He said he's been cooking pizza for 35 years and never had a problem. Of course if you're close-minded, you would never see a problem. He came back after about a half hour with another pizza that was just as doughy. I paid my $20 bill and told them trash the pizza because it is not fit to eat.
