    Moo ping
    Mike A.

Great food and good spice! Finally a place that will serve me spicy food the way it's meant to be :) I was pleased to see their menu is well indicated for gluten free and they had many options for me. We shared the moo ping and nam tok appetizers. Both were delicious. I always have to order moo ping when I see it on a menu and they delivered. For main I got the pad ki mao. I have not been able to eat this dish in years because most restaurants don't make it gluten free. It was delicious with the right spice level

A mellow spot to grab some Thai food--Same Same offers some classic comfort dishes. The dining room is easy to enjoy, and the food comes out as you would expect it. Service is simple, and in this case no news is good news. If you're in the neighborhood and you want an affordable meal, Same Same is a great option.

Same Same has an excellent menu and excellent service! We were immediately greeted and seated inside this modern Thai restaurant with a bar style set-up! We definitely recommend doing a family style ordering to be able to try more than 1 of their yummy dishes (my favorite being the Kapow Style Cripsy Pork Belly if you like spice)! We will definitely be coming back!

I was craving Burmese styled food tonight and I realized that the restaurant I was intending to go to was out of business. So we decided to go next door. This Thai food was actually pretty darn good. They definitely did it right. Not only was the food good, but the ambiance had this intimate, trendy, fun feel to it. The servers were great. And it was just an overall nice experience. Glad to have tried it out tonight! It was definitely a fun silverlake experience here.

The staff were welcoming. The service was not so great. I dined with a few friends and we ordered their pad see ew, pad Thai, and grilled chicken. The flavors for each dish were lacking. There was a human hair on the pad se ew. It look a while for one of the plates to arrive. The restaurant was extremely loud, it was a little difficult to hear each other. We had to lean forward and somewhat shout to converse. I don't see myself returning.

At a very unassuming location in a strip mall plaza in Silverlake, this is probably the best Thai food I have had in a long time. It's authentic & family owned. The service was super friendly & our server Brady was very knowledgeable about the menu & with recommendations. We ordered their crispy veggie spring rolls, grilled oyster mushroom naked salad (my favorite) & the Panang curry with tofu & rice on the side. It was so much food & so delicious my mouth is watering writing this review. Will definitely be back soon!

Bestie and I came to Same Same a few weeks back and snagged a couple bar stools at the back bar. We ordered all sorts of stuff, beginning with a Singha and a few items from their impressive HH menu. Everything was pretty tasty. We had the chicken satay skewers, sticky rice, chicken wings, fresh spring roll (no tofu), red curry, pad se ew, thai sausage, and the tapioca dessert. The one item I would not order again is the spring roll, everything else was really tasty!! I was really excited about trying Same Same but in all honesty, we have some really great Thai places much closer to home so I don't feel a need to travel this far out for Thai. If you're in the area, solid option for sure! Service was great. Parking in private lot, but limited.

We didn't have reservations, but we were able to grab a table inside at around 5:30pm on a Saturday. This place was busy. I really liked the Hamachi Crudo. That was so good, but there's only 4 slices for about $21. It's dressed in a ponzu yuzu sauce. It was so good that we ended up pouring the left over sauce on to our Tuna Tostada. Both items were fresh and I could not taste any fishiness. We also ordered the Mushroom Risotto and Cacio e Pepe. I thought the risotto was good, but the rice was definitely undercooked. I would have said something, but we didn't have much time left. The pasta reminded me of Mac n Cheese. I thought it was way too salty and didn't really do it for me. Kind of disappointed in the mains, but the 2 apps were really good.

I actually place an order with them every month because the quality is consistently exceptional. The meats are truly the best of the best. Every cut I have purchased has been incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. You can immediately tell the difference in quality compared to most places. When you cook their steaks at home, the flavor is outstanding and the texture is perfect. It honestly feels like restaurant-quality meat every time. Beyond the quality of the products, the people who work there are wonderful. Everyone is incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They take the time to answer questions and clearly care about the products they offer. That kind of service is rare and makes the experience even better. What I love most is that I can rely on them month after month for consistently amazing meat. It has completely changed how I shop for steaks and specialty cuts. I'm genuinely so grateful to have found this place. If you care about quality, flavor, and great service, I highly recommend Butchr Bar. In my opinion, it's by far one of the best places to buy meat and of course dine in. I will definitely continue ordering from them regularly and coming in for some wine and good quality food. Definitely recommending them to friends and family! Also the ambiance is perfection. Thank you Butchr Bar!

The 2 pizzas had great flavor overall, but the pizza itself was way too sour (sourdough crust). The sour taste was overpowering the rest of the pizza which was unfortunate. The thickness of the pizza and crust were spot on though. Service: Good service. Our waiter was kind enough to let us sample the three whites they had rotating that night so we could pick what we wanted. I ended up going with a nice Georgian white. And now for the food! Cucumber and pomegranate salad (5/5) - it was fresh, crisp, and very well flavored with the fresh herbs. Ghormeh sabzi with rice (3.5/5) - flavor wise it was delicious, it reminded me of my grandma's ghormeh sabzi. Kidney beans were a bit undercooked. Rice was fluffy and well cooked. Tahchin with chicken (3.5/5) - flavor was good, I think it could have used a bit more seasoning and the rice was more "custardy" than I am used to. Blood orange tart (3/5) - the tart itself was yummy but the blood oranges were quite bitter. Our meal was quite expensive which I completely understand given the quality of the ingredients they use and the fact that they are small business. With that being said, I'd probably only come back here for wine and small bites, not a full meal. But I think Voodoo Vin is worth trying at least once.
