These guys did an amazing job! After scheduling just replacement furnaces for our duplex that didn't end up fitting, they were able to upgrade us to mini splits with a heat pump instead for a reasonable price. Bonus A/C!! They came back the next day and installed 2 for our duplex. Although it did take about 8 hours to install 2 units, it was still fast and efficient work. I used this company for the first time today. The technician was exactly on-time, pleasant, and very informative. Our sixteen year old AC unit was not working, and we have been in a record heatwave. Use at your own risk! I have been told that we had to have inspections every year so our warranty was good. Every time I have made an appointment for repair or inspection they call the day before my appoitment (which I make three weeks ahead of time) and they say that I have to reschedule because they have more important people to take care of and they don't have enough Techs. My $13000 isn't good enough for this family owned company. When I got mad at two of the girls as to why a 10-minute appointment has to be rescheduled the first girl I said just forget it all together she said "GOOD"! The second girl hung up on me because I was raising my voice. This is what you get for trying to do business with a family-owned business. Don't even ask to talk to the owner or Manager they will always tell you they are not there. read more

I am always so wary about having any repairs done in my home. Unfortunately, I never listened to my father when he showed me how to do home repairs, and I am always afraid that whoever is here will take advantage of my lack of knowledge. I don't have to use my furnace often, but this winter, it became necessary. I cranked up the heat and got nothing but cold air. Great. Same Day had someone out right away to take a look. Very fortunate for me, they sent Andrew Rice to come appraise the situation. I knew he was a good guy the minute we realized we were both Denver Bronco fans! In a very short amount of time, he had the furnace on and warming up my cold home. He took some photos to show me the work he did and why it was necessary. They suggested getting a whole new AC system when they were having issues figuring out the problem with my mine They even recommended the furnace getting replaced even though I dont use it. Luckily I called another company to get a second opinion, and they were able to find the small problem and fix it easily. I reached out to them after my furnace stopped working and they came the next day. They were professional and genuine while evaluating my system and gave me a full analysis on what was wrong with my furnace and ducting. As I was planning to get AC in the future, they gave me a few estimates depending on my choices and feature as well as the multiple discounts and credits I was applicable to (military discount!). I ended up getting an energy efficient furnace and AC with new ducting to support AC and moving/adding vents. During the installation, they were courteous and mindful of us and our home and were adaptive when I had things to do. I haven't gotten the chance to fully take advantage of AC yet as it is not summer, but my home feels more comfortable now than it has been in the past and I feel confident that my HVAC system will last a long time. read more

Their Yelp response was pretty quick, but I was turned off by the ask for $99 for an estimate. Other HVAC companies (of which there are numerous with 4+ star ratings on Yelp) for the most part do not charge for an estimate. By paying the $99 (it's refundable if you hire them), you're sorta locked in to using them for your HVAC repair, or else you lose the $99, which kinda sucks. I do not want to give them a low star review, since they seem to be very courteous and responsive, but this policy in my opinion is losing them business (I.e. I couldn't continue with them because asking for $100 in case their quote was too expensive was just too much of an ask). read more

This is a corrected review from the first one. Those guys lied! They said that I had a gas leak and mold. I originally wanted them to check my. AC compressor for a possible tune up. He spent the entire time in my attic examining my heater. I was shown some pictures on a tablet of a stream of mold in a wall and a picture of something that indicated that I have a gas leak. The mold picture was not my wall in the attic. Dk who's wall it was or maybe it was a training picture for the techs. As far as the gas leak goes, everyone knows that a gas leak smells like rotten eggs. There was no smell of rotten eggs. My husband and myself went into our attic and saw absolutely no mold anywhere. Our attic walls are studs, old insulation and steaks of spackle. I then asked the tech how much would it be to check the AC compressor outside. He said it was gonna be another $119! But we signed up for the $8.88 black Friday special at Home Depot. Long story short, they wanted $3000 to "fix" my attic and he never checked my compressor. Same Day is a hard pass from me. I paid them and they left. They were nice but they were trying to stick it to me on stuff that didn't exist. I expected the dust and rust in my attic as that's normal. Don't use this company! We posted a review regarding how terrific Same day Heating and Air Conditioning was when they replaced our airconditioning unit and I wanted to say how wonderful the follow-through has been from this company. When the Air Conditioner was installed, the company said they had to fabricate a piece that would be installed in our kitchen vent. Today a serviceman, Joseph Charese arrived to install the new vent noticed that the new vent did not match the other vents in the downstairs of our home and he replaced three vents to make them all of the vents match! Joseph Charese was a professional, fast, and efficient man who seems to really love his job and the work he is performing for Same Day Heating & Air Conditioning followed through on all of their promises to us and we are very pleased with Joseph Charese and all of the other employees who sold and installed our new air conditioner. read more

Donald McCuddy came out to my house to diagnose and/or fix my AC unit. Donald said to repair the system would cost $3,401, to upgrade it would cost $15,162 and for a whole new system it would cost $22,043. He showed me pictures and videos of all of the things that were wrong with the system and he took more than an hour of my time. He scared me with those prices, so today I decided to get a second opinion. The man who came out this morning went up on my roof, saw that it was a simple capacitor and had one in his truck. He replaced it for $260, which included labor and the capacitor. I want my $99 diagnostic fee back since Donald clearly didn't diagnose the problem correctly. I'm sure he was trying to take advantage of me. I will be disputing it with American Express. read more

I had a great experience with Same Day. I had an AirBnb guest report a backed up kitchen sink at 9pm. I found Same Day through Yelp reviews, booked online for the next morning (today). I called today to confirm the appointment. Within minutes Steve was already dispatched earlier than expected to the unit. He quickly assessed that the issue had resolved itself and the drain had cleared overnight. Without me asking, Steve went above and beyond and got the ok from his manager to waive any fees since he did not have to "do anything" although everyone knows that time is money and has value in itself! Our upstairs AC crapped out this summer in the middle of a heatwave. SameDay was the only company we could get to come the day that it happened. Their tech showed up, looked at our unit, and started throwing all of this vague jargon and babble at us, telling us "with the cost of the repair {that I'm not telling you}, you might as well replace the whole unit." He wouldn't identify or do any repairs and wouldn't tell us what was actually wrong with the unit. What he did do was send another sales associate to our house several hours later who gave us a long-winded sales pitch for a $40,000 full unit replacement. The whole thing felt so scammy, we waited another day and had another company, Air Maxx, send a tech over. That fellow had our unit repaired in under 10 minutes for less than $500. He said the repair was extremely common and very quick to fix. He was in and out in less than 30 minutes. We almost got scammed by SameDay for tens of thousands of dollars, when the fix was quick and affordable. There is no good reason why their guy couldn't identify and do this fix for us immediately. Joseph was fantastic! We got 4 different quotes and went with Same Day because they had good reviews, long term warranty, and also were the cheapest. They installed a slimmer central air model that fits nicely along the side of our house. The competitors didn't have this option which we really needed as we don't have space for the standard bulky unit. The install took a couple days but Joseph and his partner (sorry I forget his name) stayed late in the night to get everything finished. They were also great with our two dogs following them around. Really can't recommend them enough. Their company has followed up since the install with secondary inspection and permits. Also, they didn't try to upsell us on things we didn't need.
