    Paneer Tikka Rice Bowl

The servers are very generous here, and there are so many options--even better than chipotle. I especially like the yellow rice and lentils that you get with the bowl which have a heightened savory/spicy flavor compared to basic rice and beans.

Easy to order, fast service, delicious & filling Indian bowls!! Their vegetable rice, chicken tikka, and potato onion curry are all amazing. A little sad their "salad" option is just lettuce. Getting a side of their butter chicken sauce is definitely not worth $1.50 in my opinion ): but I still love this place and think their bowls are great. I've also always encountered really friendly staff members here.

Tried the chicken tikka burrito and portions were very generous! The line server was extremely friendly and really piled it on to where it could barely be wrapped. The burrito was pretty good and had lots of flavors and textures. I think it was a bit too heavy on the rice though, and the rice was on the drier side. Next time I'll probably ask to go lighter on rice.

We came here for a quick bite to eat and were impressed by this chipotle-style Indian food eatery. They had healthy options for bowls and wraps. We ordered a rice bowl with chicken tikka, basmati rice, garbanzo beans, corn, fajita veggies, and we topped it it with tamarind chutney and yogurt. The bowl and lemonade were reasonably priced and everything was fresh. The chicken was tender but the garbanzo beans were the star, with curry/tikka flavors. Everything was healthy and tasty. Wish they had a location in the east bay! We would definitely frequent this place more if there were other locations.

Reminds me of chipotle but Indian style. We wanted a quick snack and was intrigued by the samosa chaat. I love that you could customize your bowl or burrito however you want. Samosa chat was 3.5/5: flavors was good but everything became a little soggy since there was so much sauce. I would prefer for it to be less wet and more crunchy. Nice if you're looking for a quick bite.

My first time visiting Sam & Curry. Ok, I get it! Chipotle was the first BYOB with Mexican, then poke/poki places, Vietnamese cuisine, Salad-American, and now Indian cuisine. Wow! The interior was clean, vivid and bright! The service was friendly! I only tried the... 3 Samosas - deep-fried dough usually with spices, potatoes, onions, & peas. They were served with a tamarind sauce (sweet & sour) and green chutney (slightly spicy). They were good but on the small side so you could barely taste the filling. Mango Lassi - mango puree with milk, yogurt, and ice. Cool, refreshing smoothie.

Absolutely love making my own custom bowl. Their extra orange spicy sauce is sooo good I definitely recommend if you love spicy. Their tacos are also really good and the tacos tortillas sides are made perfectly crisp. I also got their mango lassi and their guava drink, both freshing!

Yummm!!! I opted for a burrito and added everything with curry chicken as my protein. While the flavors were rich, it still felt bright and fresh. Highly recommend mixing the lemonade with the Mandarin cardamom for a quenching bev. I will definitely come back for lunch!

This place is great. The service is incredibly quick, the food is great and overall is very clean. The food was incredible, my friends and I all enjoyed it, so we'll definitely be back. It's like an Indian chipotle :)

Had a chance to try Sam & Curry and try the Chicken Tikka Burrito. This place is like an Indian Chipotle, and gosh it is great. It is a casual ambiance with quick service and the food really packs a lot of flavor which I love. If you are looking for a quick but tasty and filling meal, this is the place for you!

Decided to come here for the first time and I like how the concept was inspired from Chipotle. I got the chicken tikka salad bowl, but since there was only about half left, the employee gave me half of either the chickpea curry or the potatoe curry. I like trying new things and when it came to the sauces, I asked for it on the side to try. He was nice enough to give me a bit of rice in the bowl too. Their corn is amazing and might be better than Chipotle. This place also offers burritos, rice bowls and tacos. He even gave me a big piece of chip too!! Yogurt as sauce was also good too. Would like to come back and revisit this place. Thank you!!

Sam & Curry has alot to offer with a well balanced healthy yet nutrious multicourse meals. Located in an area comprise of a diverse restaurants, boba cafes, shops and fast food take-outs. Came by on a Saturday morning and was greeted by a young server who was kind enough as I chose the chicken tikka rice bowl a very popular enriched Indian/halal meal with so many toppings to choose from and I can see the server was very generous with the portions no complaints. It's an excellence source of lean protein chicken with veggies and for the price ($11.95) you're getting more than your money's worth. There were no other customers so I chose to dine-in it was so fulling no need for lunch. Definitely be back so please support your local business and celebrate May designated as AAPI month

4.5 Indian style chipotle! Glad to see they opened another location! Service was quick and friendly! I ordered pickup / to go so I didn't eat it when it was fresh. So my fault. There was plenty of seating / tables Place was clean Has parking lot/in shopping plaza Items I ordered: Somasa chaat, chicken tikka rice bowl, chicken curry rice bowl Portions were great and food was tasty. A lot of different flavors and textures (I got bowls and I put a lot of stuff hehe) Everything was packed nicely :)

When we came back, they handed us the same order we had already seen earlier. Veg chowmein: Nice smoky flavor and decent overall. Portion size was decent for the price. However, it felt oily and not particularly high quality. Veg momo platter: The momos were generously filled and had decent flavor, but the outer coating was too thick. The "tandoori" momo wasn't actually tandoori--just red-colored. The deep-fried momo was chewy. Overall, for the price, the food didn't feel justified and wasn't great in terms of quality.

Yelp said this place is open till midnight but I wasn't taking any chances driving from Hayward, so I called their number and they confirmed that they are open till midnight, all days! We ordered an Achari chaap ( soya protein) and a Rumali roti for my husband. For myself I got their tandoori chicken which came with 2 drumsticks and two thighs. The chicken itself was juicy and definitely well marinated. The achari chaap was a bit tangy for my husband's liking but had great taste and flavor if you ask me. The Rumali roti was soft and fresh. We also had chai which was creamy and hot! Food came out quite fast even though they had said it would take 15 mins. We were instead offered chole kulche, and since we didn't have many late-night options, we agreed. We were told the order would be ready in 15-20 minutes, but when we arrived, the food already felt cold, like it had been sitting out for a while. It got worse when we reached home--the kulchas were burnt, making the meal quite unpleasant. After a long day of travel, this was the last thing we expected.
