    tandoori chicken and samosas takeout
    Annie G.

Food: 2/5 Service: 4/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 I ordered: - tandoori chicken: not flavorful and texture wasn't great - samosas: decent and crispy outside Chicken was rubbery and didn't have much flavor. I couldn't really bring myself to finish it. There was also a drink dispenser that was constantly leaking onto the ground despite one of the customers trying to close it. The couches in the front were nice and comfy to sit at while waiting but the front door slams really loudly every time someone left or entered and a gush of cold wind comes blowing in as a result. Tall ceilings, overall airy space, not sure about parking since I walked over from the Lee's Supermarket parking lot which was a short and easy walk

I was craving Indian food so badly one day and came across this spot on Yelp. I dragged my sister with me on a random Monday around lunchtime and found out we showed up right during their lunch buffet. Instead of ordering individual entrées (which were around $15-$20 each), we decided to go for the lunch buffet and I'm so glad we did. We got to try so many new dishes I'd never had before, which made the whole experience even better. Now, it may not be the best Indian food I've ever had, but for $25 for an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet with dessert included? You really can't go wrong. Definitely worth it for the variety and value alone.

We tried their lunch buffet today and we had a great experience . A large variety of veg and non-veg , nice selection of desserts and even sweet lassi is included ! The flavors were great and everything felt very fresh . Recommended !

Delicious Shrimp Biryani. Shrimp is within the rice to maintain its succulent taste

Food and attention to detail is amazing here. Madhuri and her staff made is feel welcome and taken care of. We have specific requests and all were followed perfectly. I can't wait to try everything on the menu. The achari paneer tikka was the best paneer my wife & I ever had in our life. I really enjoyed the presentation and taste of the veg galouti kabab. For those that say service is slow, you have to give them some grace. They are a fairly new restaurant with a lot of business. It's hard to wait on so many tables, get the food, and take care of door dashers. I have 2 areas of improvement. It would make the experience much better if they had heaters on. There are many glass panes which all the cold in the building. The 2nd is to increase the music volume. Because of the dome too, conversations are amplified. Music is importance for ambiance.

Ordered a Shrimp Biryani, Kashmeeri Naan, Chicken Aloo Bukhara. The shrimp biryani was very flavorful, and the shrimp was well-cooked. The kasmeeri naan is a sweet naan that is sweetened with dried fruit and nuts. The chicken aloo bukhara was creamy and flavorful. The service was okay; we had to request water after sitting for a bit. But the food was excellent. The decor was clean and upscale-looking. I also ordered a Bullet Naan that I will be trying when i get home.

Tried Buffet Lunch on a weekend at Raunak today and it was a fantastic spread of both veg n non vegetarian dishes. I even asked the chef for their famous mushroom tandoor and they were sweet enough to serve me a plate. It was so flavourful and moist. Their service was quick. The restaurant is very classy and cozy at the same time. They have elite decor. Masala chaas & lassi was awesome. They had dahi bhalla chaat which had a great taste. The sweets had gajar halwa and custard which could have been better.. but want to try their other desserts too. The variety of items at the buffet at such a reasonable price point is not to be missed. Definitely eating here again!

Found out this restaurant opened a week ago, so wanted to try it based on all the good reviews. Started off with the Paneer Tikka, which was so soft and nice, and the Stuffed Mushroom Tikka, which was made so well and was tasty. What really caught my eye on the menu was the Lychee Paneer Korma. I expected just a hint of lychee flavor, but it actually came with juicy lychee pieces that paired beautifully with the rich gravy. A unique and delicious combo I wasn't expecting! Garlic Naan was great as well. Definitely coming back to try the non-veg items!

Raunak opened its doors for a soft launch recently in Milpitas, and if the crowd's reaction was any indication, it's poised to become a local favorite fast. The restaurant drew a decent gathering, and nearly every guest left with heaps of praise for the food. The spread at the soft opening was a showcase of North Indian comfort classics done right. From richly spiced curries to perfectly charred tandoori options, each dish tasted like it came straight from a seasoned home kitchen. Special shoutout to the chef and team for producing one after the other crowd-pleasers. Crispy naans were an absolute hit across the board as well. Raunak kept things simple but efficient for the soft opening. The staff was welcoming, and despite the initial-day rush, service was smooth. The energy in the room was warm and upbeat, helped by friendly interactions and the unmistakable smell of good food. For a first day, Raunak has done what many restaurants struggle with--win over a full house with great food and hospitality. If this is how they're starting, I personally can't wait to see what's next. Will definitely be reviewing them again sometime later this year!!

Stopped by for lunch on your way to Big Sur and we are so glad we did! We decided to skip the buffet and order off the menu. Hubby enjoyed his pani puri. The chole bhature here is so Yummy! Totally satisfied the craving I had! We also ordered the mixed tandoori veg grill platter which was delicious! We will definitely be back!

The food at Raunak is decent. They offer both veg and non-veg options, and we went for the Saturday buffet. The buffet is $22 per person, which comes to about $25 with tax. Since I'm vegetarian, I'm focusing specifically on the veg options available on the buffet. The spread is mostly non-Indian, but there were a few solid Indian dishes. I especially liked their mint chaas. Vegetarian options included bread pakora, paneer dal makhani, aloo sabzi, achari paneer, and baingan ka sabzi. I may have missed a couple of items. For dessert, they had gulab jamun and rabdi, and they also offered pani puri, which was a nice bonus. The buffet includes butter naan and garlic naan as well. Overall, for people who live in and around Milpitas and don't want to drive far, this is a good option.

Just two minutes before entering the restaurant for a snack, I tripped in the parking lot over a parking stopper and fell flat. Please don't give your business to an establishment that is so disrespectful towards its customers. We arrived just before 9:15pm for dinner on a Friday evening and were promptly seated. The restaurant wasn't crowded and there were only a few families dining at the time. There was only one person running the entire restaurant floor and it took him a little while to come take our order. We decided to share a chicken kottu paratha and a chicken dosa and while the kottu paratha was pretty delicious, the chicken dosa was a disaster in more ways than one. In the bay area, where you're surrounded by tons of great dosa options, I was genuinely surprised to be served a dosa that was so tasteless and filled with completely dried out tough chicken. Anyway, while we were only 10 minutes into our subpar meal, the square payment device and 2 to-go boxes were placed on our table without a single word from the waiter. Because it was only about 8 minutes left till closing time for the restaurant, we figured that the sole waiter managing the floor must be trying to wrap things up. Anyway, we paid within a few minutes and tried to continue with our meal. The waiter however kept pacing next to our table and made it amply clear that he wanted us to pack our leftovers and leave. As we were packing our leftovers, the waiter turned off all the restaurant lights except one. As we hurriedly left the restaurant, I looked at my watch and it was only 10:04. I eat out a lot and at most restaurants all over the country and worldwide, customers are not seated after the closing time but customers who have been seated and served are allowed to finish their meal. Even if Namma has different rules of operation, they could have easily communicated the same politely and not been so passive-aggressive and disrespectful. Needless to say, this was my last time at Namma. Fellow Yelpers, you've been warned of the service you will receive at this establishment.

I was seated immediately, no wait, and the restaurant only had a few tables of people. The inside was bright and had plenty of tables. The noise was mainly from the mall. There was a large neon blackboard with the day's special clearly stated. There were two people working the dining room taking orders, cleaning up tables, and bringing out the food. They were friendly taking and confirming my order. The menu covered all the usual dishes you might see at an Indian restaurant. And since one of the specials was butter chicken combo, I ordered that along with a paneer Manchurian with garlic naan. I didn't know what Manchurian flavor meant but it's like orange chicken but instead with paneer. It was pretty good. The paneer seemed to be pan fried before tossed in the sauce and topped with green onion. I would order this again. The butter chicken was also pretty good. It wasn't too heavy with butter and had a good amount of chicken. Chunks of chicken just floating in the sauce. The garlic naan was flatter and crispier than other Indian restaurants I've been too, but it was ok and did its job of being a vessel for the sauces. I would come back to try the wraps and curry next time. Other tables ordered these items and they looked really good.
