    Mattar kachori

It is a small place that serves Bombay style street food. Limited seating. Self service, you need to order and wait at tables, which is very limited may be 10 people. Mostly it is a to go place. First we had ordered togo Pav Bhaji and cake being aware of space limit. But when we arrived to pickup they had space so we ordered few more dishes. One thing I can vouch is all are freshly made and they ran out of popular items. Pav Bhaji (Bread and Masala) , I was said they make their own pav which was evident from the taste, soft and melting in mouth. Masala was perfect, I would like little more kick, I will order next time extra spicy. Yes you have that option!. Comes with chopped onion and lemon wedge. Mattar Kachori, was hot and little oily. When opened up there was very little Mattar paste, there are no whole peas and the filling was underwhelming. Also generally they give spicy green chutney and sweet chutney. Here they gave only the sweet one and the the filling was not spicy either, so not a hit with me. I will not order this next time. Dabeli was very well balanced and the crunchy peanuts, made a big difference. Little bit on the the sweeter side, but well made. Eggless dates and walnut cake was good dessert to end with mild sweet and crunchy walnuts to give that texture. Limited items but freshly made.

Vada pav and dabeli were perfectly flavourful. Their signature matar kachori was a let down. It was too oily and not crunchy. Chai would've complemented the dishes we tried but they don't have it in the menu.

TLDR : Good food, quick service Kadhai kitchen has been a go to for Vada Pav. They offer a street food style menu which is great when looking for a fun meal. The vada pav and pav bhaji is amazing, the mutter kachori is okay-ish. Overall a good run for street food.

We ordered Vada Pav and Dabeli. You can feel the softness of the fresh homemade bread in both. It was perfectly spicy and flavorful

Just like Mumbai/Maharastrian style Vada Pav for sure. First time tried and tasted and it was amazing. Didn't have time to try other items but friends highly recommended it. Quick service and ambience is okay so the takeaway is always the best option.

Visited this place recently and tried 1. Vada pav 2. Pav bhaji 3. Corn pattice The food is absolutely delicious and I would come back again for vada pav and pav bhaji. The vada pav is very authentic and the chutneys add a good taste to it. Pav bhaji is very think and feels very home made. Staff is friendly, you go to the counter to order food and they bring it to your table. Place is small and they have few tables to sit and dine. But it is clean and well kept. They have kept all the cutlery outside along with water in case you want to dine in.

Was wondering this place is truly good, sometimes it's hard to trust reviews. But this one is a true gem! Loved the matar kachori and dabeli!! I liked that they bake their own bread. I do like that they offer a limited menu and focus on making a few stellar dishes rather than many below average dishes. They are super busy, wish they expand and have more seating area! Will be back to try more dishes.

Pretty good Vada pav & Dabeli was had here. A tad too greasy for me but it is street food after all, so can't complain too much about that ;)

Size of vada has gone down over time, while being the most expensive vada pav in the Bay Area. Pav Bhaji has less bhaji n more pav again for one of the most expensive in the Bay. The vada pav chutney is authentic and taste reminds you of Mumbai. Menu is limited and all veg. Service and ambience is good.

Please do visit this place! There isn't much place to sit, but the food is well worth it! The wada paav sells out by 6:30 or 7 pm, so if you are you going later than that, order it online and let them know you will pick it up at a later time. Here is what we tried: - Wada paav : 10/10! It took me back to Mumbai/Pune. It's the complete experience with garlic chutney, chura and mirchi - Dabeli : 10/10 - Paav Bhaji : 8/10. It's good but somehow it's tough to recreate those India flavors here. I think it's the water. But hey, it's still good! - Corn Cutlet : 5/10 Not bad...but super oily. IMO the taste doesn't justify the unhealthy oily feeling you get eating it. We have heard the ragda pattice is good but haven't tried it ourselves. The guy behind the counter is super nice and efficient.

I had heard really good reviews about the Vadapaav here so came to try it but unfortunately they ran out of Batata Vadaas so come early to try Vadapavs. I did however try Dabeli and Dahi Papadi Chaat. Both the dishes were good. Service is pretty fast and people here are friendly. It's a small place with just 3-4 tables. The menu is limited but looks good. I am looking forward to visiting this place again to try Vadapaav now.

Weekday buffet was not as packed and i infact saw a huge corporate team gathered for lunch. ***FOOD: doesn't feel like a luxurious buffet due to lack of space but they did have a decent spread with 3-4 veggie appetizers, 3-4 non veg appetizers, 4-5 desserts, Pani puri, fresh table side naan (which was done very beautifully), two varieties of biryani, fried rice, indo Chinese items, 3-4 varieties of non veg curries, 3-4 varieties of veg curries, salad, drinks etc. As with any buffet there will be hits and misses, I for one enjoyed the varied options and the unlimited Pani puri though it was on the sweeter side. The weekend buffet was definitely worth the price tag of $23, the weekday buffet on the other day felt expensive at $20 as the number of items were significantly lower.
