Amazing!! You have to go here! The food is really underrated and good, it's actually called "stews & smoke"

Really glad we listened! My favorite thing by far was the Honey Walnut Prawns, they were massive but sooooo good!!! Also the pork belly & dumplings are fantastic! Service was fast & efficient with the tablets. It's right in the middle of everything too. There's so much around I wish we had more time to explore. The restaurant was cozy and packed in much like everything else around NYC. Will definitely be back!

The service was amazing, very attentive, and everything was clean. The food was pretty good, but there were some dishes I liked more than others. Ordering the boiled chicken slices as an app was the wrong move. It tasted okay, as good as it sounds, but I don't think it was the best app option. The pork belly in mashed garlic was good, but I wish the cucumbers had been more chilled and fresh. I liked Uluh's version of this dish more. Next time I would try the boiled chicken in chili sauce or the crispy fish. The flavor and texture of the braised pork belly were amazing. The pork was tender and fatty. The prawns were fantastic and very garlicky, just how we like it! The rice was pretty good and actually had a decent amount of seafood, but I found the shrimp to be the same quality you would get from a takeout Chinese restaurant. The rice was also on the more steamed side, less on the dry side. All in all, I thought the food was decent, but the service was amazing and the vibes were also a plus.

Came here with two friends for an early dinner (4pm) on a Tuesday. We accidentally made a…read morereservation on Resy for the following day thinking it was for the day we went, and the hostess helped us get sorted. We were seated promptly, since there was no one else waiting to be seated, and the wait staff was quick to arrive and get our items into the sacks (to keep our stuff from smelling like hot pot all day), and helped us place our order. We got two broths-- mushroom and spicy (mild heat). Y'all, the mild was too hot for us and we were scooping out the peppers out of the broth to make it manageable. The wait staff noticed we were suffering and said the trick to eating spicy hot pot is to dip it in oil, and even brought us some. IT WORKS. Anyway, 10/10. Great tasting food, helpful and caring staff, and overall, a very fun decor/vibe.

The inside is beautifully decorated and they have multiple floors with tables and seats. Being a party of 7, we got a private corner room on the top floor which was really nice. We got half spicy and half non-spicy broth, and even at mild it was quite spicy. Our server had to help us take out a lot of the chili peppers floating inside. We ordered a variety of meats and veggies and fishballs, all of which were great. I liked the flavor of the spicy broth a lot, and the quality of all the meats and veggies tasted good. Anyone with a nut allergy beware of the chili in the sauce bar and for some of the meats, as I couldn't have those. For dessert, we got the fried brown sugar rice cakes which I thought was lowkey the best thing - it was so perfectly warm and chewy with just the right amount of brown sugar syrup. Definitely recommend this!

The environment is clean, and staff was welcoming when I dined here on a Friday evening with other Yelp Elites. The restaurant filled up with people very quickly. I cannot remember having better Northeastern Chinese food anywhere. The food came with an amazing presentation, taste, freshness and quality. I am a huge fan of the Cumin Flounder, which is crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. It is the best flounder that I have ever tasted in my life! The Beef Tenderloin in Brown Sauce is to die for. I loved the Minted Salted Egg Yolk and Sliced Pumpkin so much that I will come back here to order it for Thanksgiving dinner. If you can handle the spice, go for the Fried Squid Head with Spicy Peppery Sauce. It was the table favorite because most of us prefer the head or tentacles of calamari to the rings. The Molten Sugar-Crusted Yams and Dates were phenomenal. It came with a bowl of water on the side to remove stickiness from the serving spoon between helpings. We also feasted on the Sautéed Shredded Beef with Spicy Pepper, Cumin Lamb, Sliced Potatoes with Truffles and Salt and Pepper Shrimp. The pickled salad certainly tickled my fancy. TIP: Eat everything with chopsticks for portion control. Thank you Andie for putting this all together, and the birthday cake that Mike bought for you was a decadent surprise because it was so chocolatey and moist.
