    Oatmeal Griddle Cakes 12/10
    Karen D.

My first time here, a friend brought me and it was delicious. I will be back and will get the oatmeal griddle cakes mix. They are perfect! You don't even need syrup, they're thin but crispy and cinnamony. The hash browns look like bricks but are very yummy. Perfectly fluffy eggs and the bacon was thick cut and delicious. Staff was helpful and friendly.

I tried the oatmeal pancakes with cinnamon butter. The cinnamon butter was really delicious, and the pancakes were moist and fluffy. You get about two large pancakes, which felt like a great portion for breakfast. One thing that surprised me was that the suggested tip starts at 22% (22%, 24%, 26%). Parking wasn't too bad though, there's plenty of street parking around the area.

I got here around noon on a Saturday. Had to come see the griddle in person. The line intimidated us but it was just one big party. You write your name on a sheet and wait to be called. About a 25 min wait for a party of 3. About 20 min for food to come out but the vibes and music is on point. Heard everything from Fergie to SIR, 2pac and Eve. For $26 i got the allstar to try everything at once. The oatmeal griddle was warm, the butter with cinnamon was good enough that my friend's daughter wanted to eat it on its own. It's hard to describe but it was bomb and lived up to the hype. I wish i wouldn't of shared it The bacon was crispy and something in that sausage was really good that stood out. My scrambled eggs were a little runny which i didnt understand but the biscuits and jam made up for. The customer service could be a little more attentive and that bathroom was a mess but I'd comeback for the oatmeal griddle

Salt Cure pancakes are the best! That is all ! Lol - just kidding. I came here with the family on a random weekday. There was easy seating and we were seated l. The servers were accommodating to my kids with drink cups and the coffee is GOOD! I am not into pork, so there are only pork options. My kids and husband were good with the breakfast and the burger. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and how the kids were accommodated !

Food was good, but what really turned my stomach was the service (the people). It was my first time eating here and I was so excited to eat the pancakes that I've heard from so many of my friends. The OG cakes were so good. The butter is what really makes it so good! Having to have told the waitress it was my first time, you would think I'd get more of a welcoming guide to the menu and so forth. But instead every question I asked made me feel like I was burden. After eating, I wrongfully decided to take something to go for my family. I ordered a breakfast sandwich to go, my boyfriend ordered the breakfast sandwich when I went and the waitress asked what side did he want. I didn't know that the sandwiches TO GO didn't come with a side nor did she ask when I ordered to go. So 10 mins later, it hit me that she didn't ask what side I wanted with the sandwich. When I asked and added the side, the demeanor and breath of irritation from her, was out of this word and something I've never experienced in hospitality dining. I hope to give this place another chance because the food was great, but again, it wasn't just one waitress, it was all 3 waitresses that really didn't seem to like their job. Understandable a day after Christmas no one wants to work, but still, wasn't great to come to a restaurant where you don't feel welcomed. Even more after a jolly holiday and you want to just enjoy a day after Christmas with loved ones at a "nice restaurant."

My boyfriend and I decided to check out Salt's Cure about seeing amazing videos of their famous pancakes. We went on a Sunday for brunch and luckily the wait wasn't too bad. Once we got there, we put down our names and got seated within 10-15 mins, which for brunch wasn't too bad. The place itself was lively and cute. Service wasn't too bad for a busy brunch either. I have to say that Salt's Cure has one of the best pancakes I've had but, unfortunately other than that the other food we had that was disappointing! We each got their breakfast platter and a side of pancakes. Next time we would simply get the pancakes and call it a day because that's the best thing on their menu. It's buttery and has a good amount of cinnamon in it, which makes it really delicious. I would maybe just go to their sister breakfast spot called Breakfast by Salt Cure to get the pancakes!

The only good thing about this restaurant was the pancakes! Service was terrible. The waiters are so rude and don't care about you. We asked for napkins and she rolled her eyes. Later we asked for more water and she signed. Like ok. Also took forever to get seated. Only about two staff members were nice but the rest absolutely hate being there and it shows. As a customer you pretty much have to do everything yourself because no one talks to you or helps. Disappointed. We came for a birthday too.

The food from Salt's Cure was absolutely delicious, and the staff was as great as those pork patties lol. Everything we tried was so good! just heads up, it takes forever to get a table, so plan accordingly!

Great breakfast/brunch spot! I can highly recommend their sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich. It was really good. Make sure to add a side of bacon, as the bacon is one of the best I've had. I would definitely dine here again. Our waitress was also really nice and accommodating. Plenty of street metered parking.

This is my second time visiting salt's cure and it was just as great as the first. The SCRAMBLED EGGS tasted fresh and were cooked perfectly. I highly recommend getting the OATMEAL GRIDDLE CAKES. This was enough to feed 2 people. It was a bit heavy, but very delicious. Be prepared to feel rushed out from your table. They have a unique seating system and it is not the place to take your time as you eat. Overall, very fresh food!

    Interior, so cute

The food was incredible. I had the rib eye hash with a G&T (chamomile tea with gin). My significant other had the dirty mocha (boozey chocolate) The vibe, swanky and cool. The service friendly. I knocked it down a notch only because bougie means pricey

Food menu. Order the Oatmeal Griddle Cakes. They're yummy!!!

Solid breakfast. Casual atmosphere with scratch tasting menu items. The oatmeal griddle cake is what brought us in, but we were pleasantly surprised by the menu options and tasty food. Drip coffee is on the menu, no lattes or matcha, but the Amigo Coffee they're brewin' up is delish and will have you wanting to buy a bag of beans to take home. Inside dining available, as well as, some outdoor tables and chairs in front. Our server was attentive and quipy which made our dining experience enjoyable. Their Sunday morning playlist was right on the money for the vibe of the place and at a perfect volume. Metered street parking out front of the restaurant, if you can grab one.

TLDR: Breakfast is king here, everything else is not. Service was good, parking a hit or miss. Ordered: Salmon Avocado Toast: 3/5 - The salmon was incredible and I'm glad to say that the fish wasn't the problem here. The toast/bread is just the wrong kind for this. It was way too tough to cut through. If I bit it then it would've also been too hard for it was burnt and thick. Arnold Palmer: 4/5 - Good amount of tea without it being overly sweet. Service: 5/5 Maybe because there was a bit of a lull in the mid Saturday morning when we were there but the service was pretty good to me. We were checked in on a few times and she was accommodative Vibes: Its really cute. Great indoor/outdoor open space vibe with good music. That said, this place is all vibes over food which unfortunately I left in 2024. The menu is so minimal that it does in fact ruin "the vibe," hence why I placed it here. Notes: - I've been to Breakfast by Salt's Cure plenty of times in NYC and I'd recommend them all the way. Not to say that I couldn't have had breakfast food but I really wanted to try something else at their regular establishment. - Parking: I'd shoot for side streets but you could get lucky with metered parking right in front. I really have no reason to come back here unless I wanted to have breakfast and if that's the case then I'd go to their sister store. Glad I gave it a shot though!

    Does it get busy?

Saturday and Sunday brunch are the busiest times for this establishment. All other times are moderately to not very busy.

Is this location closed? I just drove by and it looks like it's all boarded up.

For a while they were only open during the day but as of recently they are open now until 9pm (except on Sunday they close at 3pm)

Looks like the restaurant has closed down?

It's not. I'm here ordering right now
