Delicious chicken salad--I just wish they gave me more ranch.
Haley N.

Definitely one of my favorite places in the valley. Hardly anyone knows about this delivery gem, but my goal is to become sponsored by them. Every time I come home and meet up with old high school buddies, I suggest lunch at Salt River. It's nestled right on Main Street, the perfect location for people who need a good burger whilst window shopping during the summer months. It's large and spacious with plenty of tables and booths. The employees are so kind and helpful, they are very efficient and know how to make a delightful lunch. Plus, every single time I set down my empty water cup, the waitress was right there filling it back up. The Philly cheesesteak is delightful. The bread is soft and easy to eat, the meat was cooked perfectly and well seasoned and it wasn't chewy or hard to bite. The peppers and onions add a nice color and flavor as well. Complete with a side of fries, it's one of the best lunch deals you could ask for. The Swiss Bacon Cheeseburger is another classic choice. Every condiment tastes fresh and has that yummy "crisp" crunch to it. I love that the meat is juicy and tender but never pink, definitely the way to do it. Again, coming with a heaping of fries, you just can't go wrong. The chicken salad is huge and yummy as well, especially if you're in the mood for a lighter lunch. It comes with a large side of dressing, which is awesome because you can dress it yourself. Tasty chicken and fresh avocado, it is large and in charge. TIPS & TRICKS: * Ask for your sandwich cut in half, it makes it a lot easier to share and eat. * Bring a jacket, because it's such a large restaurant and because it's Star Valley, WY, it's always chilly.

Great salads, burgers and fries. My daughter ordered a BBQ pulled pork sandwich and it was not good but we liked everything else.

A really cool and novel breakfast/lunch spot that creatively uses their space on an old school bus…read more Friendly owners, good food. I thought the breakfast burrito was great except it was a little heavy on the potatoes and could have been balanced better with more eggs and less potato. Also their red salsa that was supposed to be the hot one needs a lot more heat, it almost wasn't there at all, but perhaps it's just par for the area. But the real shining star dish from here is the quesabirrias with complimentary consomé, but I think they call it cheesy beef tacos or something like that. Breakfast is only served until 10am, but they do the breakfast burritos until closing at 2pm. Dont skip this great spot!

Such a fun little bus full of food! The owners are very kind and personable and awesome chefs too…read more The food here is tasty and reasonably priced too, which always makes my experience "that much better". I went with a group of family and friends and got to try a bite or two of various items on the menu. The biscuits and gravy had a nice flavor, it was hard to find the them underneath the heaping of gravy that covers the plate, but having too much food shouldn't be a bad thing. The pancakes were delightful and delicious and huge! I got to try the CrossFit Burrito and boy oh boy that was a winner. It was large and in charge, perfect to cut in half and share--and the homemade salsa topped it off perfectly. I also got a bite of Monte Cristo, not my favorite and it was the most expensive item, but it was alright to try. The bus has a fun atmosphere but it's a little squishy--they do have outdoor seating, but that's no fun when it's pouring rain. Overall, fun and fabulous! I recommend making a pit stop here when you can. TIPS & TRICKS: * Bring your appetite or just share! Again, plenty of food and you'll definitely have leftovers. * You can take your meal to go if you don't have time to have an easy, slow breakfast morning.
