Wow just wow! Never had the ability to have Mexican for breakfast, but the two ladies were amazing! The bus is so darn cute, they have a moving going and bar seats to sit inside or they have outdoor seating which is where we waited!

So good. So so good. This place is so cute and fun! Our first night in town we just wanted a good and fast bite to eat and the taco bus delivered! What a fantastic plate of tacos -very fresh! There are a few scattered picnic tables outside and I suppose on a not busy rainy day you could polish them off inside the bus on the bench though it's a tight squeeze when the line is long. There's a menu both inside and outside. I wish I lived around here so I could make this a regular lunch spot.

Cute little Walk-In taco bus. Amazing tacos! SOSOOSOOSOSO GOOD! Got the Tuesday special: 3 *shredded beef* tacos (meat of your choice), rice & beans. Everything tasted so fresh and just absolutely delicious. On top of that Pedro and his brother are SO Nice! They try to remember everyone's names and that's another one of the reasons to keep coming in. If you're stopping in Alpine- 100%, 11/10 recommend them. I'm from Vegas and I've never had better tacos...

The best taco I have had in the U.S. Tried the pollo and al pastor tacos and the meat was perfect in both, soft and well seasoned. Not to mention the scenic environment where you can eat them.

The best Mexican in town. Great place for lunch. I always call ahead because they aren't open all the time, but that's not a big deal. Good prices, great food. Awesome people. What more can you ask for?

Ate here tonight. Very cool. Food was tasty and sitting in the bus to eat was kinda fun. I had the 3 enchiladas. Definitely will be back.

Unfortunately, the experience ended before we even had a chance to order. The host, a man who appeared to be in his 30s, greeted us without any welcome or friendliness. He simply pointed us to the two tables near the entrance and told us the restroom was upstairs. Since the restaurant was completely empty, with no customers and very few cars in the parking lot, I politely asked if we could choose a different table. His response was that we could not because he decided where customers sat. The way this was communicated felt dismissive and unwelcoming. As a fellow Mexican, I was especially disappointed by the interaction. I had come hoping to enjoy authentic Mexican hospitality, but instead I left feeling unwelcome. My son even asked me why the gentleman had behaved that way, and I felt it was better for us to leave than begin our meal with that experience. Restaurants in a tourist destination have an opportunity to make visitors feel welcome and appreciated. Good food is important, but genuine hospitality is what people remember. I sincerely hope management takes customer service seriously, because a warm greeting and respectful treatment can make all the difference. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we chose to dine elsewhere.

I've eaten a lot of Mexican food and this tasted like it was made with care and fresh ingredients. Our party of four included a 5 year old; the server was patient and he checked on us a number of times. I don't always have time to write reviews while on vacation, but when I noticed the low-star reviews it made me want to express the great experience and food I had. It must be so hard to own a restaurant in the day of social media where people mostly write when they're grumpy. I hope more people will share their positive experiences here too.

The Tex-Mex Cookbook. Two things I found interesting were that instead of the standard red and green salsa served this restaurant serve serves a kind of spicy coleslaw along with the red salsa. Additionally, I learned that what we think of as Piccadilly, ground beef with nuts, raisins, peppers; here, it is just shredded beef what I know of as carne deshebrada. But because of my love of the cuisine of Mexico, I always like to check out how it varies in the states of Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, and now Wyoming. And then something interesting happened. Our waitress told us she was fine Honduras and I had the aha moment. Repoyo!!! Like one has with pupusas! Service. Ambiance.

I stood in the entryway waiting to be acknowledged and eventually had to look around the corner to find someone. The hostess finally noticed me, but she appeared more interested in her phone than assisting customers. Meanwhile, an employee making tortillas clearly saw me waiting but never alerted anyone or offered assistance. I eventually found a menu to place a takeout order, but the hostess disappeared again, leaving me waiting at the front for another 10 minutes. During that time, I repeatedly made eye contact with staff, yet no one offered help or even acknowledged that I was waiting. After looking around the corner a second time, I found the hostess once again focused on her phone. To make matters worse, the restaurant phone appeared to be off the hook, making it impossible for customers to call. After waiting far longer than I should have without any assistance, I finally left. Based on this experience, it certainly felt like they had no interest in serving customers.
