My clue was the past couple mornings (July 2019) we'd passed by there was a line coming out the front door and/or people hanging out at the front to make their way in. I gathered up my courage and stood in line. People were friendly, checking out the scenery -- it's beautiful nature in this valley. Went in asked for coffee, and they put something together from my choppy suggestions. I mean, i pour coffee in a mug, i add a dash of milk and throw in a bit of splenda. I could tell they would serve me a treat. I ordered some fresh doughnuts for the kids, and a beignet type bready doughnut for me. Paid, reasonable charge. Made my way to the vehicle to take my booty (the doughnuts .... people) but wished I could'a sat there in the parking lot and sipped the coffee and nibbled on the beignet while staring over at the mountaintops.
