Really great fajitas! Went twice and enjoyed both the chicken and prawn fajitas. Service is not that great when it's just though so keep that in mind when planning dinner.

The best Mexican restaurant in town. As good as you can get in small town America These are the new prices

Great Mexican food, and by the look of it I wasn't the only one who thought so. The place was packed. Everyone was enjoying themselves. It was good to see the place bustling and people having fun, talking, laughing, and not a mask in sight. A common relief in the air. I ordered a good sized burrito. More than enough for me. That along with a Dos XX made for an excellent meal. Eat at Agave and experience what I did. Quick Tip: It's cold outside. What are you waiting for? Get inside. You don't have to travel 1650 miles south to get a taste of Mexico.

I was hesitant to try Mexican food in Wyoming (I'm a Texan!). But it was good. Salsa was a purée, had good flavor and a bit of a kick. I had the Enchilada Suizas, chicken was flavorful , sauce was ok, beans were yum. Husband had the steak fajitas and they were tasty, had a interesting sauce on them with carrots, idk. He enjoyed it. Margarita was a typical Jose Cuervo Gold with Mix. Solid Mexican food.

Decent for Mexican food in Wyoming. It wasn't bad but it definitely wasn't like, "Wow! This is the best." Being from SoCal, it's honestly hard to compare Mexican food in other places--nothing is ever as flavorful or as fresh. I got the combination platter with picadillo (shredded beef) enchilada, pork tamal, and chile relleno. It also came with rice and beans. Like I said, it was decent. My husband got the pork chile verde. Normally we're used to shredded pork in chile verde but this was more like a pork chop cut up into bite size chunks. He wasn't totally stoked on the sauce and felt it lacked flavor and needed a lot of salt. Service was also just average. The waitress wasn't really friendly but she wasn't NOT friendly either...she was kind of just going through the motions to push people in and out, and get through the day. I will say the prices were reasonable. We got two entrees and two beverages (non-alcoholic) for $50 and that was with tip.

A classic star valley staple you can always rely on to be delicious. This lighthearted, fun Mexican restaurant on Main Street in Afton is always bustling for a reason! Authentic food meets authentic ownership for a delightful dinner experience. I would classify the food here as your classic Tex mex with a few more American options for you less adventurous eaters. Last time we came we got the fajitas for two, and thought they were great! The steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. After dinner we got fried ice cream to go and savored every bite! You gotta save room for dessert here, and if you're a drinker of adult beverages, we saw some really fun margaritas on the table next to ours. Park on the street if you can, or be prepared to walk a few yards in some deep snow to get inside the restaurant. While it may not knock your socks off or give you a completely new flavor experience, this will always be one of the greater dining options in Afton that everyone will enjoy.

For when it comes to Mexican food, it is not that great. But in reference to small town in Wyoming it's the best you can get. The chips and salsa were really good, the sauce on my burrito didn't seem too great. It just didn't have a whole lot of flavor to it. The fajita my wife got was absolutely delicious. If you are in the area craving Mexican food, I definitely recommend agave.

    So good!

A group of 6 friends stopped in for a quick lunch. The service was excellent!! The food was delicious and the margaritas were the best!

Enchilada & Tamale in a red chile sauce

This place surprisingly satisfied my Northern Mexican cuisine desires! Oh it was perfect! The salsa was at the right spice level and the chips were fresh. I ordered one enchilada and one tamale smothered over in a red chile sauce that reminded me of meals when I was growing up. The beans and rice were everything I had wished for too! I didnt expect this place to be this good in Wyoming...but why not

The food is great, the drinks are huge and the employees are awesome. For small Star Valley area, this is our favorite place to eat.

I've never had dry farts that sounded so wet before…read more We stopped by on our way to Jackson since we needed something quick. We had taco time once 12 years ago and make fun of it every time we drive by one, but didn't really remember the food. When we pulled up to the drive thru window (which was a house window), I asked my wife if she had diapers for the kids. Then I semi jokingly asked if she had diapers for us. I figured - worst case - I'd have to pull over and have the squirts in the woods somewhere along the drive. The food took forever to "make". I told my wife they probably only have one microwave to cook it all in. I may have been right. Everything was room temp or below, except the kids chicken and potatoes, which they probably microwaved last. Anyway, my kids refused to eat the chicken. The potatoes were not bad. My wife had a few bites of her "taco" and threw it away. I paid for the food, so I ate most of my "taco" on principle. To my surprise, it didn't instantly give me the bubble guts. But then... the entire night, I kept farting myself awake with the loudest, wettest sounding (and feeling) farts I've ever had. I got up every time, thinking I had just soiled the bed. But I'd wipe and everything was perfectly dry and clean. I have no idea about the science behind such a phenomenon, but in my 41 years of life, this is a new one for me. Still giving it 3 stars though since it pretty much met expectations.

A really cool and novel breakfast/lunch spot that creatively uses their space on an old school bus…read more Friendly owners, good food. I thought the breakfast burrito was great except it was a little heavy on the potatoes and could have been balanced better with more eggs and less potato. Also their red salsa that was supposed to be the hot one needs a lot more heat, it almost wasn't there at all, but perhaps it's just par for the area. But the real shining star dish from here is the quesabirrias with complimentary consomé, but I think they call it cheesy beef tacos or something like that. Breakfast is only served until 10am, but they do the breakfast burritos until closing at 2pm. Dont skip this great spot!

Such a fun little bus full of food! The owners are very kind and personable and awesome chefs too…read more The food here is tasty and reasonably priced too, which always makes my experience "that much better". I went with a group of family and friends and got to try a bite or two of various items on the menu. The biscuits and gravy had a nice flavor, it was hard to find the them underneath the heaping of gravy that covers the plate, but having too much food shouldn't be a bad thing. The pancakes were delightful and delicious and huge! I got to try the CrossFit Burrito and boy oh boy that was a winner. It was large and in charge, perfect to cut in half and share--and the homemade salsa topped it off perfectly. I also got a bite of Monte Cristo, not my favorite and it was the most expensive item, but it was alright to try. The bus has a fun atmosphere but it's a little squishy--they do have outdoor seating, but that's no fun when it's pouring rain. Overall, fun and fabulous! I recommend making a pit stop here when you can. TIPS & TRICKS: * Bring your appetite or just share! Again, plenty of food and you'll definitely have leftovers. * You can take your meal to go if you don't have time to have an easy, slow breakfast morning.
