I chose a fun dangly 14k gold piece for my piercing as I know from a previous cartilage piercing that I need a more hypoallergenic metal. And while my ear anatomy doesn't quite make the piercing fully hidden, I'm happy with it. I'm glad to have had the consultation with Megan prior so I knew what I was getting myself into. Do yourself a favor and get pierced by Megan (walk-ins are allowed for piercings). I absolutely love Megan! We used to live right around the corner and decided to drive from Queen Creek. I've had my nose pierced since I was 16--over 23 years now--but recently had sinus reconstruction and deviated septum surgery. I just got the green light from my doctor yesterday to put my jewelry back in, but after spending hours trying, I just couldn't do it! I downsized to a smaller gauge with a custom tail years ago to fit my very small nose, so I've run into challenges getting it back in after things like imaging. But this time, after having it out for over two weeks, I just couldn't get it myself--I needed a professional! Megan was amazing. She was so sweet, got the needle right in with zero issues, and seamlessly transitioned my custom piece back in. I was done in less than five minutes! I've been thinking about switching from my current 14k white gold diamond to yellow gold to match the rest of my jewelry but haven't decided on the perfect piece yet. my nostril was pierced incorrectly and it has closed on two seperate occasions despite me having the piercing for close to a year. months later it is still painful and near impossible to put in or take out jewlery. also, i went to change my snake bite jewelery and they charged a $60 "installation fee" on top of the price of jewelry + asked for a tip. read more

I got a naval piercing at the shop with a Friend, February 2025, I took the piercing out because it wasn't healing right January 2026. I went in two days ago and Joey was going to redo the piercing. This man was by far the most straight face and ugliest attitude I ever got , seriously maybe he was having a rough day ..didn't want to work ? I asked him if the pain is the same when re-piercing, and he said " it's a piercing " like duh but don't you know it all piercer ? I did stare blankly because he made me feel like I asked a dumb question then he said "im confused did you want a piercing" so I said it's fine. Got my things and left. I went in for a couple piercings after reading some reviews on Yelp and I have no regrets! The shop was easy to find, lots of available parking, and the setup was clean. When I walked in there was a little bit of a wait but the employees were friendly and professional. I had Joey for my helix and nose piercing and he made it so quick and easy. I've been back to Salt and Light for many more piercings! Megan is always so helpful, friendly, and makes every time here so pleasant (well as pleasant as getting a needle in you can be haha). I got a big bump on my nose after getting my nose pierced at HTC tempe 3 years ago. It got taken out after a long and discouraging journey, ended up at a dermatologist for steroid injections. This time I tried again but at salt and light, and i am SOO pleased with my experience with Megan. My piercing initially developed a bump. I thought it was a keloid, but after lots of troubleshooting with Megan, we found out it was just a moisture bump. I was sending her pictures and messaging back and forth every week. She gave me deep cleans, changed my stud to a smooth one, and gave me a longer piercing... she just went above and beyond my expectations!! After 3 months, my piercing is fully healed and bump is gone. Can't recommend megan enough!! (And staying away from online advice, shortcuts, and amazon products haha) read more

This shop is so nice and clean. We called ahead for pricing and to see how long the wait was to get piercings since it's walk in only. The person on the phone was very nice. Once we arrived we were greeted and told of the estimated wait. We went in a group of 3 for our nieces 18th bday. In total we got 8 piercings. For one person if you get multiple piercings at the same time your 2nd and after piercing is $10 off. So first piercing was $50 every piercing after was $40 based on what we got. Jewelry is included but upgrades start at $10 and go up. We got some really pretty titanium for $15. I had some piercings that were about 2 mths old. They saw it was swollen and needed a longer back so I was able to upgrade and they cleaned it and put the new jewelry in. Sheena helped us and was so great. So ears are sisters but not identical and she noticed one ear is different which I have always hated, but she was excited and told me it's perfect to put a few piercing on it so now I'm going back.
