I also love this shop because they were doing a special event to raise money for a Pitbull Rescue in Arizona and it's one of my absolute favorite rescues so of course we were going to go! So far so good with this tattoo shop. Their pricing is a tad higher than some but the quality of work is excellent. Great vibe! They are down to earth artists using quality equipment and have been established for 16 years. My wife and I are both happy with our tattoos. My mom had drawn a picture for me and I wanted it tattooed on my back, so I did some research and found this place, the designs were so similar to what I wanted . She told me she would have to redraw it to make it more professional. 2 Days after I got a text with the redraw, it was pretty but wasn't my fav, so she redrew the whole thing, and i LOVED the second image so much. When she was tattooing me I was very comfortable, no awkwardness, and she was very understanding that this was my first tattoo and walked me through the process. I've been into Disciple's shop twice so far and have a tattoo planned for the 22nd of December (EXCITED!) I origianlly had a tattoo planned for the 7th of December but my artist, Carlos, was ill on the day of. This gives me a fairly good chance to review Disciple's professionalism because anyone can hustle people in and out of their parlor but when things go wrong you really get to see a place of businesses true colors. With that said, the gal at the front-desk, Deanna, called me early morning to let me know that Carlos was sick and that we'd have to reschedule. I wasn't able to answer, so she left a message with the next availible opening and penciled me in. This didn't work for me, so I called back in and left a message afterhours. We played phone tag for a few more days but finally rescheduled. I give the shop, and specifically Deanna, props for their perseverance in rescheduling. I know that other artists/shops just balk and you get silence - this happened to my brother. So it was a welcome change to have them really make multiple attempts at contacting me (FYI: I work night shift so not only is contacting me difficult, but so is scheduling me). I am in high hopes that Carlos will do a fine job and that I will be able to make him my artist for any future ink I want (and I have a list). Went to Disciple yesterday.. Finally after a 2 month waiting period to see Carlos. After putting the stencil on my arm he decided he could do better. Started another stencil with even more detail than the first. He was able to give me exactly what I wanted and then some. Nice to find a good artist who takes pride in their work. My wife has an appointment with him in couple weeks and I can't wait to see the finished product. I do plan on getting all my tats from Carlos going forward. read more

My first tattoo. Maybe a mid-life crisis.. either way it was an awesome experience. I went for a consult only Wed evening. They had a cancelation so accommodate me right then. So why not? Dane was my tattoo artist; he's amazing!! Fun guy, great attitude, and no pressure. He gave me the price, the time it would it take and even said "the feeling may suck towards the end". I was ready for that then so it wasn't so bad. He loved the design and said it was "An Awesome challenge" . I showed him a picture of what I wanted prior and his design was better then the picture I gave him. He's a guy who loves his work and cranked his playlist his fiancé created while he worked. I cannot give a review worthy of the quality of work, the friendliness of the atmosphere and the obvious enjoyment the team gets in what they do. Dane's talent and obvious care for what he does is more than what you would expect. This was my first tattoo experience and it was a memorial for my wife of 32 years who passed away unexpectedly this past March. Dane knew both situations and truly went out of his way to make sure the experience was a remarkable one. I've gotten at least 48 hours in the chair so I know a thing or two about tattoo pricing. I took my two sisters to get a small matching tattoo 1inx3in's on their ribs. We were there for over 3 hours and didn't need to even create a custome job. One of their artists was sitting around for the entirety of our stay and could have easily helped us out. They charged me 300$ for a tattoo that took maybe a total of 20 minutes apiece. Do your research and find out the minimum rate(even for the littlest of ink). Will never recommend this place to anyone. read more

As a tattoo virgin I'm proud to say I am so happy I picked this place. I wanted 2 Black and Grey Roses on my left shoulder specifically one underneath my collarbone and the other on the corner of my left shoulder and the gorgeous lady, Dyonna, listened well to what I had envisioned and even helped search roses similar to what I had in mind and at that time I had to think even more carefully before setting up an appointment due to the fact that my work schedule was a little strange.. I came in a couple weeks later and she still remembered me and had Carlos talk to me because I requested him after seeing his amazing artwork on the website and even seeing his portfolio in person. He came out and talked to me and was really cool about what I wanted in terms of a rose tattoo. So, they set me up with an appointment and my appt. was on 07/29/14 and I have to say they even stayed afterwards to finish the tattoo even though the shop was already closed. The outcome was better than I thought. He's very thoroughly detailed about his artwork and I'm pretty sure thats also what makes him such an amazing artist. I'd definitely come back here for another tattoo. Words I'd describe this establishment: PROFESSIONAL, COMFORTABLE, DOWN TO EARTH, FUN, and FRIENDLY. The people are really cool and they don't judge so anyone who's looking for great people, fun atmosphere, and professionalism.. THIS PLACE IS THE PLACE TO BE.
