My first tattoo here was my fleabag tattoo (pictured - my left inner forearm) and I worked with David. He was so nice and talented, he did amazing. I gave him a hodgepodge of ideas to work from and told him the things I *had* to have in the piece - he incorporated everything j wanted and fleshed out the design in such a way I never even imagined. I'm so in love with it to this day (I got it a few years ago). My next tattoo was also with David - I got my ghostie in a field (also pictured). This was a scar coverup. This one I kinda let David do whatever he came up with. He gave me some options on the vibe I wanted and once he had a general idea, he came up with something *amazing*. Seriously, I get so many compliments on this. After my ghostie, David left the shop (and moved very far from me lol) so I decided to work with a different artist - Jarom. This was a total like, kismet situation. I walked into the shop after knowing David left, and asked who would be best to do some lettering on my wrists (pictured) and Jarom was suggested. He was super super nice. Such a stellar vibe. He made sure the font was what I wanted (and double checked the spelling lol) and I got in with him THAT DAY. Like... Within 30 minutes of walking in, I was sat in his chair. That day, I put another deposit down with him for another piece coming up lol My most recent piece here was with Aarin. He did my heart and dagger (pictured). This was another kismet thing. I walked in to go over ideas with Jarom for my next piece and saw this design on the flash design wall. I immediately fell in love. So I asked if I could get that done and when. Aarin came out and we talked for a minute, and again within about 30 minutes I was getting this done. Aarin was a gem to work with. I seriously recommend coming here and getting work done. Each artist has an Instagram and if you find someone you dig, 9 times out of 10 they'll take time out of their day to meet with you.

I received a tattoo cover up here that required two sessions. My girlfriend came with me.We were quoted approximately $500 for the tattoo, and during the first appointment we tipped $100 because we were verbally told the second session would be free aside from potentially a small shop/service fee. During the second session, we were unexpectedly charged an additional $100. I chose not to argue because the tattoo initially looked good and we trusted the process. However, after healing, a significant amount of the opaque shading faded and the original tattoo became visible again. We reached out calmly and professionally simply to discuss the fading and the misunderstanding surrounding pricing for the second session. Instead of handling the situation professionally as the owner of a business should, Joey immediately became defensive, hostile, and disrespectful. Despite us clearly requesting written communication only, he repeatedly attempted to call us and became increasingly rude when we would not answer. During the conversation, Joey made comments including "You obviously don't speak English," used a homophobic slur ("fag"), mocked us, and repeatedly treated us with disrespect for simply attempting to discuss a customer service concern reasonably and professionally. At no point were we threatening, aggressive, or disrespectful toward him. We simply wanted to discuss the fading of the tattoo and the unexpected additional charge in a calm and respectful way. What disappointed us most was not even the tattoo outcome itself, because touch ups and fading can happen. It was the behavior and complete lack of professionalism shown by the owner when a customer tried to resolve an issue respectfully. If you choose to go here, I strongly recommend getting ALL pricing, touch up expectations, and guarantees in writing beforehand. We were lucky that they could squeeze us in last minute for the New Year. We arrived early and got situated with our consent forms and design ideas. They workshopped the designs and ideas, but I highly recommend sharing your ideas and inspo prior to the visit. And then came time for the tattoo - and it was not as painful as I thought! They let me know which area would hurt the most, and I avoided those. Pricing is based of complexity and size, so make sure you really speak to them prior on what you are wanting. I highly recommend Ants! The artist here really took pride in her work. I'll be back again. The scene is not intimidating at all, and it is such a cool space!

I have reported your conduct to the Arizona Attorney General and the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office. If you harass me in any form because of this review, authorities are already informed. If you believe anything in this review is inaccurate, you are welcome to file a defamation claim--I will fully cooperate and present my evidence in court. I do not recommend Antstattoo. I was belittled, disrespected, and publicly defamed by the artist, Jodi. After paying my deposit, she made no effort to design my tattoo until the one hour appointment at her studio--despite my repeated outreach and design suggestions, she refuses to communicate about my design after I paid the deposit. She even told me I would "die" for being picky and said she was "not a printer." This is not the behavior of a professional. Worse, she posted my tattoo online without my consent, misrepresented our communication, and spread false claims--accusing me of being difficult, manipulative, and late (I was not). She even posted studio footage and used hashtags to make her defamatory posts visible to people in my local community. Antstattoo's conduct is not just unprofessional--it is abusive, deceptive, and legally questionable. Proceed at your own risk. Attachments showing her online posts about me with my tattoo and my footage from her studio. Also including how she neglected my request to communicate the tattoo design after paid the deposit.
