I got my nose piercing here about 6 months ago. I told them I wanted to get a hoop eventually. Upon going to another piercing store to get a hoop, they asked me if Next Level used a piercing caliper, which my piercer at Next Level didn't. Now if I want to put a hoop in it will be a massive hoop. The piercing healed fine but they used a corkscrew piercing which is super outdated and the gem from my piercing fell out after 5 months. I would not get a nose piercing from here and I wish I would've gone somewhere else. read more

Manuel pierced my fourth lobe piercings on both sides and they turned out beautifully! He placed them to cover up misalignment from my other piercings (I did some of them at home when I was 15, I don't recommend) and he made them perfect. I came in in tears over a tattoo from another shop that was tattooed at the incorrect angle. Manuel immediately sat down with me and began to sketch out ways to fix the tattoo as well as cover up options. I ultimately decided on getting a cover up and put down a deposit and over the next week sent him different ideas for the cover up. He sent me ideas back and we discussed both the ideas and their wear over time multiple times on the phone. He was not pushy and looked at each of my several ideas providing his honest opinion. We decided on a monstera leaf for the cover up and he sent me the design idea the same day. When I went in for my appointment, he fielded additional questions from myself and my husband about the cover up and placement ideas on where to get the original tattoo elsewhere. Don't know how to put this any other way: Manuel's work is outstanding. I won't go into detail but, basically, my tattoo needed to capture subtle detail and emotion and he nailed it. One thing I learned about Manuel from the time I spent with him is, show him your art/concept, tell him your goal and then let him attack it. Side note: His attention to cleanliness and a sterile environment for the tattoo is the best I've ever encountered. He was condescending, said he wanted to teach us about how tattoos work, not what we needed we have many other tattoos, he gave so many excuses why the tattoo was gone in 5 hours. He is honest and throughly explains what will work and will not work on specific designs, so you know you will have a great piece. He makes sure you are comfortable throughout the tattooing process. I made the mistake of going to another tattoo artist and hated that tattoo. Two months ago, Manuel did a cover up and I absolutely love the tattoo. I got my Cartlidge re-pierced and he did a super fast and efficient job. The best part was that he put an earring that had a flat back! I have several piercings and I've never had that type of earring and it's honestly a game changer. The price was a little bit more expensive than I was expecting but I think it's on par. I went in with a big mind cluster of ideas for a tattoo and spoke to Manuel. I just had a very hard loss and wanted a tattoo in remembrance of my best friend who recently passed away, so he listened and explained to me very kindly how I may not want everything that was I saying and he had some ideas that he thought may work and I appreciated his honest input and education on the piece I wanted. Manuel said Mondo would be the best for what I was thinking. I told Mondo my idea and he drew it up in a couple days and I liked it a lot, but I decided the day before that I wanted to make a change and I text Mondo early the day of my appointment and asked him ifB we could make a change and that easy he said he could change it and we would get some ideas when I got there. He drew it while I waited after we spoke about the change and I loved it the drawing, but to say he killed it would be not justification for the beautiful work he completed. Mondo took his time and paid close attention to every detail, like he cared how special this tattoo was to me. I am over the top happy and impressed and can't say how grateful and thankful I am to Mondo for doing a beyond amazing job.
