I got my first and so far only tattoo here. I decided on this place because I follow one of the artist on Instagram and this is the shop he works out of. If you don't want to read the whole thing, this is all you need to know: Alexander James did a phenomenal job. I initially reach out by email letting him know what I was interested in and later on I stopped by the shop to set a day/time and pay by deposit.During my visit to the shop we also discussed the design of the tattoo. All I knew is that I wanted two flowers (rose & dahlia) in gray wash, but I wasn't really sure how I wanted them to look like. Alexander asked me a few questions about size and placement, he also went through some books and showed me different leaves, which would stem from the flowers. When it came to the big day I was so nervous mostly because I was scared that he might have drawn up something that I wouldn't like, but when he showed it to me I absolutely loved it. I barely had a clue of how I wanted it to look so I'm sure I wasn't very helpful to him when he designed this, but he did an amazing job at putting it together. My expectations were exceeded. I thought I was going to cry from the pain, but it wasn't bad. I loved the design and the best part is that I get so many compliments and I've actually run into other people who have also gotten tattooed by Alexander James and we just talk and admire each others tattoos. read more

Got a tattoo from Scotty. He is amazing. I'm not the least bit creative so I went in and told him I wanted a 3/4 aquatic sleeve and the rest was largely up to him. He exceeded my expectations. Came in for a walk-in for a small tattoo (my first!). I was seen by Lolo who sketched up what I wanted and before I knew it I was getting tattooed! She was great throughout the whole process, answered all my questions and made sure to take breaks to make sure I was still doing ok. My tattoo came out exactly the way I wanted! She gave me a couple bandages, some instructions, an aftercare sheet, and some stickers and I was on my way in less than an hour! Everyone in the shop was super friendly.
