My dad passed away at the end of May. As you can imagine, this tattoo is so very important and needs to represent and honor him and his legacy. Here are the pieces I'm looking for. 1. I have his last wave form from the EKG while in the hospital 2. I want two compasses. One compass will have the coordinates of where he was born; the other of where he passed along with the respective DOB/DOD 3. Connecting those components while incorporating the name "dad". Mark not only did amazing at putting this piece together, he showed care and compassion for my loss. Not sure how anyone could give this shop less than 5 stars - this tattoo shop was the most professional and customer-oriented tattoo shop I have ever had the pleasure of coming into. The owner, Tom, is awesome and he sincerely only hires great artists that have a friendly, positive attitude. I was in town to visit family and we all had the idea of going to get tattoos and we were so lucky we found this shop - all of the artists work together to make sure your tattoo is done by the best person for the job and you never get any of the "I'm better than you" attitude from anyone in the shop. They had all 4 of us in a chair within 2 hours even though we were walk ins. Plus, they don't mind letting you hang out if you enjoy watching some of the artists work. My mother came into town to get some artwork done unfortunately my old artist(of 3 years) did a no show on her appointment. We were truly lucky to get into this tattoo shop! CJ was a beast on my Mom's arm! You walk into the shop and it's instantly like you belong there! Great conversations and they made my mom feel very comfortable on her first big tattoo!! I now have found a new artist with Mark Luther and my mom will only drive 3 hours for CJ Harper from now on! This shop is AMAZING!!! After driving 3 hours to see Christian at CU Looking Ink, who NO SHOWED, you could say I was very disappointed. My daughter reached out to friends and they recommended this shop. Not only did they communicate well, but they got me in the next day..they really went above and beyond. Everyone in the shop was friendly and we felt right at home. I came in with one idea and CJ Harper turned it into a work of art! Im calling next week to have him do another large tattoo. I had an awesome experience here from the communication of scheduling the tattoo to the actual session. Thomas was great at communicating and working within my budget to get the beautiful piece I wanted and now have. Mark was patient with making some adjustments to the drawing and then spending five and half hours in the chair. He paid great attention to detail and making sure I was happy with the result of my tattoo, which I very much was. Amazing service from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, and even after! The owner is quick, responsive, and genuinely enjoys meeting people. Jerry did my tattoo and his recommended technique to make my tattoo appear "soft and feminine" is not something I thought to do- he truly is the expert and it turned out better than I could have expected. This shop is absolutely spotless and filled with talented/patient artists. The owner was very welcoming when coming into the shop, asking who we are here to see. I found Chayla (@chayla.inks) on instagram and loved her work. She made sure I was absolutely 100% happy with the stencil, size, and placement of the tattoo. I got a tattoo here in October and had an excellent experience! The atmosphere is perfect for a tattoo shop it is very welcoming. I have recommended a few people since my last visit. My tattoo was done by Josh and I appreciated how he was always checking in on me to make sure I was comfortable. The prices were very reasonable and I absolutely love my tattoo! Found this page on Instagram. They have such a vast array of artists with their own skill! My artist was Hailey, who was incredibly gentle and professional. She made sure I was comfortable and I walked away with art that I absolutely love ! Thanks Hailey! I will be back at this location and highly recommend against other local shops! Absolutely recommended. My bestfriend and I decided last minute to get a friday the 13th flash deal tattoo. The receptionist was really chill and immediately put me on the waiting list.
