First tattoo I got was from Rogelio Ortiz an awesome samurai piece that I wanted from the works of Utigowa Kuniyoshi he did an amazing job. I've now had another 3 tattoos done by Joe Clayton (Garner) who has become an artist that will likely do all my future pieces he's also done several tattoos for my wife. This shop I highly recommend the artists are all very skilled but more importantly they are approachable unlike other shops I have been to in the past. Joe is the best artist I have had the pleasure of working with. I highly recommend him he is just an overall great guy who does amazing work I cannot begin to tell you how many people drop by just to talk to him because he is an amazing human being let alone the best tattoo artist I have ever had. If you're looking for a super chill place with reasonable prices and friendly staff, then I really suggest going to Next Wave Tattoos! After calling like a bunch of different piercing parlors around town, I was starting to think I couldn't find a place that accommodated my budget. I called HTC studios near Mill and they told me their prices ranged around 140 something (including the jewelry). They were also rude as hell on the phone. I felt kind of hopeless until I found Next Wave. I got my helix and my lobe piercing done for under 50 dollars (including the jewelry). I don't know why these guys don't have more attention, honestly! Their customer service person seemed really polite and personable, the service at the shop was just the same, and nobody was acting like I was wasting their time. Sorry, I just have a huge grudge against HTC! Anyways, give these guys some love and if you can make the drive over, I suggest you choose them over all the other piercer places. read more

I had a piercing done somewhere else about 5mths ago that was really uneven... Jacob said to take it out since it had only been a week and wait 4-6wks to heal. After 6wks i went back to Jacob for a double nose piercing. He did inform me of possible excessive bleeding, swelling and pain. First one was just fine and over 3mths now hasn't caused any issues. Second one bleed a lot at first, swelling for 2mths, and some minor pain. Now everything looks good with no major issues. The team was busy when we arrived, but it didn't stop them from taking the time to stop what they were doing to acknowledge our presence, greet everyone, helt their fellow teammates out with getting us set up, update us on the wait time, and even take a second to say, "Happy Birthday!" Not sure if Jose still works here or not, but screw him. I got half a sleeve from him and the entire tattoo is blown out to where I hate it so much and removing it is going to be a bitch. Not only is it blown out, but it's scared and raised in some areas. Every now and then some parts itch really bad and you can feel the skin literally raised. I wish I could give him zero stars. I can't even believe he's able to work there. I should have known when l called asking if anybody was available the same day. He also told me that another tattoo I had should be touched up and I trusted him by letting him do it and he completely ruined the entire tattoo which is also now blown out. I came in to get information on a daith piercing. I suffer from migraines and have had some relief with acupuncture, and I have heard of the daith piercing also providing similar relief. I was welcomed by Jacob, who turned out to be a body piercer. He is very knowledgeable, and I felt comfortable after our consultation to go forward with getting my daith pierced. Ahhhhhh Shiiiiit. My man, Jose!!!! I really love Next Wave. The people and atmosphere are so wonderful. Next Wave is different from other shops in so many ways, but the most obvious way is how people are treated and how you feel in the shop. Everyone is so nice and it's nice to feel appreciated and wanted. With almost a full sleeve an entire tatted rib cage, I've been to many shops and artist and this is literally the only company where I didn't feel like an inconvenience or like everyone was so hard.
