I initially wasn't going to write a review, considering how combative the owner's replies were to negative feedback, but I feel it's necessary. I'll totally admit, I didn't do any in depth research into this place and just walked in. There were a lot of weird and creepy comments made throughout the whole process, but mainly the tattoo was just awful. He was extremely heavy handed and it hurt super bad. It was supposed to be an apple with shading and white stars, but it's literally just a blob with no shape and kind of looks like a bruise. The girl I went to fix my tattoo said she was actually fixing another tattoo from the same guy that did mine. Her tattoo was literally INFECTED. Don't think anyone will be butchered here anymore, as the business is closed now. read more

TAU!!!!!!! What a rad, helpful man. My friend was in town for one day and on a Sunday and would not let go of the idea of us getting tattoos. Tau made himself available within the hour of our call and texted with us until we were able to come in to get our stencils drawn up and sized. When we got there he had options ready to be printed and was so patient with placement and line work. His line work is solid and he has a really steady hand as my piece was a very specific font and small. He went over it again by my request with a super kind and sincere attitude. I had a terrible experience there, a guy said he'd give me 20 minutes to draw it down, i told him i lived about 5-10 minutes away, had to go get cash, and had a VERY disrespectful attitude and responses to my messages. At first I loved it but after I left I was pissed it looks 100% nothing like what I wanted! The guy who did it lowered the price which was nice but didnt give me anything I wanted. There was no detailing and I dont even know why he shaded it when there is no shading in the OG one. Not a single thing is right about it, no lines, shading, and the shape is off. Its half assed. And it only took him 15-20 minutes to do. It was my very first tattoo on my 18th birthday and I feel like I was just taken advantage of for the money. I would like to preface my review by reminding that my poor experience does not reflect on the other artists or the shop. Last year I went to the shop with one of my friends for their Friday the 13th flash art deal, we got there and waited for about 2-3 hours which was totally expected. We got tattooed at about 7:30pm, by an older gentleman. My friend and I both picked out two flash tattoos each. We both have numerous previous tattoos. She got tattooed by him first, then I went after. While getting our tattoos, he made a couple pretty concerning comments that he laughed off, saying how he had been there all day, that he was really tired, and that he shouldn't be doing fine line tattoos. With the needle against our arms. And he had made these "jokes" multiple times and kept laughing it off. I picked the pair of dice and a dagger, and both tattoos were bleeding pretty badly. None of my previous tattoos have ever bled before. I didn't mind this too much, but what really did bother me was when he was wiping away the blood/ink, and accidentally picked up the sanitized alcohol towel and wiped, which stung so badly. He apologized and grabbed the water towel instead. I know that these are flash tattoos, and I know they are cheap, and you pay for cheap tattoos. I wasn't expecting Picasso level quality, but I was very disappointed. The dagger was extremely blown out, almost fully, with ink surrounding the outside of it, looking like it was almost poorly shadow shaded outside of it on accident. The dice just have wonky lines which is whatever. I ended up getting the dagger covered by the lady I usually go to, but you can still see the blown out parts of the tattoo. The only reason I am writing this review a year later, is because I have been getting quotes for tattoo removal, which are SO expensive, and also there is another Friday the 13th coming up in September. Again, there are many talented artists at this shop who's work i've seen and can vouch for 100%, i'm sure this guys work is amazing too, but when an artist is tired or doesn't think they should be doing fine line after working all day, please go home. At some point quality is truly more important than quantity. I do not want to bash anyone but just want everyone to take care of themselves and hold their work accountable, even for some cheap tattooing. Thank you. read more

Loved this place! Staff were all super friendly! Caesar did my tattoo and I will definitely be coming in for future tattoos with him! They were all very informative and helpful since this was my first tattoo and it was a friendly atmosphere and clean! Caesar wiped down the whole work station after he finished mine before tattooing my husband! He also kept checking on me to make sure I wasn't in pain and if I needed a break since it was my first tattoo. Super impressed and love the way it came out! Went to there Friday the 13th event and really felt like a lie. Waited almost 10hrs for no tattoos. I get that these event always have a crazy turn out and the wait will be long. However, they kept changing how they were running it. It even said on their event post on both Facebook and Instagram that it would be a max of 3 flash tattoos for people. We ended up finding out around 9pm that the first people got anywhere from like 5 and up. When I told a staff member about this they told me it was up to each artist. So they ended up talking anywhere from and 1 1/2 to almost 2 1/2 hrs on each person. And one point we were also told everyone in the lobby that was physically there was gonna be the list they tried to get to and then they would start calling people. Only for that to change as well. And they also kept signing people up that showed up around 8 &9. Which meant as long as they were willing to went till the am they would get tattooed well the rest waited 10+ hrs already. Poor managing of event and honestly felt they were just hooking up all their regulars and people they were cool with. Wish they would have been honest and save me the time to go to another shop that was fair and honest. read more
