I paid a $60 booking fee a week in advance, and was told it covered the artist's drawing time and the appointment slot. Yet when I arrived early for my 3:00 PM appointment, nothing was prepared. After about 20 minutes, the artist showed me a design that wasn't even close to what I had provided, so he had to start over while I waited even longer. After an hour of waiting -- including watching the artist step outside for a smoke break -- I left without getting tattooed. I then learned the booking fee was nonrefundable, despite the fact that the delay and lack of preparation were entirely on their end. If the fee is supposed to cover the design work, the design should be ready before the client arrives -- not started after check-in. What should have been an exciting first tattoo experience was instead frustrating and disappointing. I reached out to the owner, hoping for understanding. Instead, I received no apology, no responsibility -- just the implication that I was being unreasonable for expecting my time to be respected. Extremely disappointed. I won't be returning, and I hope others know what they're signing up for before booking here.

My first tattoo here was my fleabag tattoo (pictured - my left inner forearm) and I worked with David. He was so nice and talented, he did amazing. I gave him a hodgepodge of ideas to work from and told him the things I *had* to have in the piece - he incorporated everything j wanted and fleshed out the design in such a way I never even imagined. I'm so in love with it to this day (I got it a few years ago). My next tattoo was also with David - I got my ghostie in a field (also pictured). This was a scar coverup. This one I kinda let David do whatever he came up with. He gave me some options on the vibe I wanted and once he had a general idea, he came up with something *amazing*. Seriously, I get so many compliments on this. After my ghostie, David left the shop (and moved very far from me lol) so I decided to work with a different artist - Jarom. This was a total like, kismet situation. I walked into the shop after knowing David left, and asked who would be best to do some lettering on my wrists (pictured) and Jarom was suggested. He was super super nice. Such a stellar vibe. He made sure the font was what I wanted (and double checked the spelling lol) and I got in with him THAT DAY. Like... Within 30 minutes of walking in, I was sat in his chair. That day, I put another deposit down with him for another piece coming up lol My most recent piece here was with Aarin. He did my heart and dagger (pictured). This was another kismet thing. I walked in to go over ideas with Jarom for my next piece and saw this design on the flash design wall. I immediately fell in love. So I asked if I could get that done and when. Aarin came out and we talked for a minute, and again within about 30 minutes I was getting this done. Aarin was a gem to work with. I seriously recommend coming here and getting work done. Each artist has an Instagram and if you find someone you dig, 9 times out of 10 they'll take time out of their day to meet with you.

I sent some ideas of what I was trying to get to cover it but I was open to letting him design it. I stopped into the shop one day so he could see it in person and he said he could cover it and I booked my appointment (there's a $100 appt deposit, it's applied to the price of the tattoo). He did a phenomenal job, explained the process and got to work, he gave me a couple of breaks and he knocked it out in 2-1/2hours. It turned out soo good! It's beautiful! I love it!! We not only spend our money on tattoos here, but piercings and jewelry! I would also like to think I'm a good tipper cause I like to take care of people that take care of me. My daughter got her helix pierced here and the piercing was great. The piercer was great, but we invested an expensive piece of jewelry and the stone fell out. This was a minor frustration as stuff like this can happen, but unfortunately it was not communicated to us that they would have the jewelry for months. It was communicated to us that it would be weeks. They changed out my daughter's earring putting a non-gold earring in her ear, causing her ear to keloid. Upon calling the shop, they let me know that they didn't have any records of us, dropping off the jewelry. Again, a minor annoyance. But where the frustration begin is whoever the young lady was that took the call. I believe she said she was the shop manager. Argued with me up and down about the keloid accusing my daughter is not taking care of her piercing. I assured her that my daughter was taken care of for her piercing, that she did not have a keloid before changing the earring as well as keloiding is a common issue within minorities anybody with melanin that would come from changing the earring before the healing process. She insisted on arguing with me up and down and letting me know that this had nothing to do with the shop that their jewelry is body safe it was all about how we were taking care of the piercing and she went on and on. I let her know that I was the consumer and unfortunately, although she might be highly educated in some of these subjects, she does not know everything and if she doesn't have any melanin in her body, how could she possibly understand keloids and perhaps she should educate herself a little further on them. I told her I didn't wish to debacle with her anymore and if the shop director could just call me, I would appreciate it and I hung up. A few days later, the Director called me in which she was very nice very understanding and validated all my concerns. she told me that they were having an earring shipped to the shop to replace my daughter's. This was now at least 2-3 weeks ago, have not heard anything from the shop. I'm not getting return calls and still have no answers on where my daughter's expensive earring has gone or a replacement. It's super unfortunate because I really enjoy all the people at club tattoo. The piercers are amazing. The artists are amazing and quite honestly I've never had a bad interaction there up until this one. It's always very clean Smells great and is normally a 10 out of 10 experience unfortunately due to how unprofessional this experience has been I honestly am not sure if I will continue to use club tattoo.
