    Baklava

We had the chicken souvlaki plate with brown rice and a side of falafel. Served like an open-faced gyro, the chicken was charred nicely. The falafel was crispy (which I really liked.) The baklava we had for dessert was surprisingly pre-packaged and consequently not as crispy as I'd hoped. All in all, not a bad place for a quick dinner.

The Dubai chocolate froyo is easily a 5 star menu item!! Definitely try that if you're craving a dessert. The restaurant is relatively spacious and you can either order from self-ordee machines or go up to the front. Lots of pita and plate options. If you're a student, you get free fries if you show your student id! Overall, a great experience and would definitely come back

Came specifically to try the three dubai chocolate items they just added to their menu: the cookie, greek froyo, and donuts. Everything was super good! Didn't expect the tart flavor of the froyo but it was super refreshing and I ended up really liking it. The donuts were fresh, but definitely very heavy after eating a couple. The food took a while but our server was very friendly. A very casual spot with plenty of seating and cute decor!

BRILLIANT!!! Concept, location, dishes. Love the food, i wish i had one of these around me. Can eat this everyday. Look at the dishes, opens your appetite immediately. First you eat with your eyes, then mouth. Grilled halloumi always my favorite. Chicken souvlaki superb. Deserts yumm!!! Wish had some tarama salata. Will definitely be back again!! PS. Location downtown close to State house, needs a touch immediately !!! Staff is extremely RUDE!! Like Spanish music, should not play all the time!! Need some bouzouki!! Action needed please!!

I'm most often in the Fenway location, but the Harvard location was around for date night with my girlfriend, so we stopped for a dinner together. We go to Saloniki often, and I have to say I prefer the Fenway location overall. Our food took longer than expected, and it wasn't super crowded. It seemed to be a bit of a hassle for us to take advantage of the free fries for students (with proof of ID), but it got figured out. Once our food arrived, everything was delicious! Saloniki never fails food-wise and it hits the spot every time. Different from the Fenway location, they put crumbled feta on the fries instead of shaved, which I appreciated. I however believe that the service at Fenway is faster and the employees are more sociable and personable to their customers, which can make the experience all the better. Saloniki, you never fail!

    Greek Feast

The feast! Food came out fast and the portion size was huge. I missed it in the menu details but the feast came with a side Greek salad. The salad was very refreshing! The grilled chicken skewer was gigantic lol, well seasoned, a little bit dry, but everything comes together with the tzatziki sauce. The grilled halloumi was delicious but a bit too salty. The indoor was spacious and clean.

First time here and I was not disappointed. Service was fine as it's more food court style type of setup. They have water and cups here and well to self serve. And it's connected to the Harvard building on the inside so if u have a water bottle u can fill it up there as well. We got eh family feast and filled up our family of 4 with a little leftover. Wife was happy with lamb meatballs but wished they were hotter. Everything was delicious. The inside was comfortable, clean and there is patio seating as well. The receipt will have the code for the washroom as well.

Friday was busy! Few seats. I ordered zucchini fritters! Yum. Water Decanter in case you need lots of water. Ffries and soups look good too. (; Denise Patnod Cambridge.

Delicious!! Affordable! Some of the best taziki dip out there!

The place is casual nice. You order up at the counter and they bring you your items. There was a little snafu with 2 out of our 4 orders and we had to wait a while before we got our correct order, but we all agreed that the food was delicious and worth the wait! My chicken dish was super flavorful, moist. Didn't even need a garlic sauce because it had so much flavor already. Salad had a great dressing and the whole meal felt light and healthy. Their greek ice tea tasted super fresh with mint flavor. Would highly recommend eating here for a casual and delicious meal!

    Spicy Greek meatball plate

The spicy Greek meatball plate was decent but I would probably order something different next time. The pita that came with the plate was excellent. The meal was delivered so it's not the restaurant's fault that the fries were cold. The Dubai chocolate cookie was so-so.

The Saloniki at Harvard Square has a very nice atmosphere, it is very open, airy and relaxing. Our order of two chicken plates took around 25 minutes to be prepared which was longer then expected as it did not appear to be that busy. The food was average, not much flavor and room temp. The sauces were good but the chicken was in the drier side and not juicy, same with the rice. The lemonades were very sour, even for lemonade, which I enjoyed but they were a bit much for my friend.

A decent Greek spot next to Harvard. Stopped by for lunch after visiting some museums. A solid Greek spot with a nice ambiance. Service was fast and the order kiosks made it easy to peruse the menu. I ordered the Greek lamb and grain bowl ($14.99). The lamb meatballs were very good and I loved the large Greek beans. The tomato broth did make it more watery than what appeared on the menu. My girlfriend got the braised pork pita with a side of tzatziki. The better dish in my opinion. Fresh veggies and slaw paired with the pork shoulder. Overall a decent lunch spot if you want something quick 3.6 / 5

Food- I got one of the chicken meal dishes. Im not sure if it was an off day but I didn't enjoy the dish Service- everyone was friendly but it took well over 30 minutes for my order to be fulfilled despite coming 20 minutes before the lunch rush hour Ambiance - lovely decor comfortable plenty of seating and they even have a bar which when I went didn't look to be open since it was lunch time. But maybe something to check out one evening

The Reuben was perfectly grilled and rich in flavor and the fries were lightly crispy and well seasoned. The cocktails were fantastic with a good array of flavor profiles. Service was great, as well, and we were well attended to throughout. While it's not necessarily fine dining, I would definitely recommend as an excellent option for drinks or a casual meal with family or friends!

The interior is spacious and the service was great. I fell in love with the chopped not-liver ($13), which is a delicious eggplant spread that doesn't taste like eggplant but has a great savory flavor with a slight wine aroma. The pita bread that came with it was so warm, pillowy, and chewy. This dish was just perfection. There's an eggplant dip (Oren's eggplant) in the Bay that I have been craving, and now I have something in Cambridge that is just as good if not better. The haus smoked whitefish ($12) was also quite good. It had a lot of fish but wasn't too fishy, had good flavor and came with crunchy crackers. The fish and chips ($24) was tasty as well -- the chips are really crunchy and the fish was flaky and crunchy, and the sauce was interesting and spicy. Lastly, we got the halva ice cream sundae ($12), which was pretty decent with a lot of crunchy bits. I'm not a big fan of nutty flavors or milky ice cream, so I'm not sure if I'd get it again. There is a 20% gratuity automatically applied (we had 2 people, so I don't think it's due to party size). Service was great -- people kept checking on us and refilling our water. In conclusion, the eggplant chopped not-liver was amazing and it's everything I've been looking for. I'm excited to try more of their offerings.

For food, we ordered a bunch of plates to eat family-style. Our server had recommended the Pickled Mushrooms, which I thought were just alright. My favorite item was the Burrata with gooseberries, and the Caramelized Onion Dip was pretty good, as well. I was really unimpressed with the Fried Polenta, which had the skimpiest topping of braised short ribs. As an extra touch, Chef Steve came out to our table to chat and describe a few of the dishes, which made the experience feel personal. Food highlights: * Firecracker tofu - perfectly fried cubes tossed in a hot-sweet Korean-style sauce; addictive. * Grilled broccoli - smoky, well-seasoned * Butternut squash soup - smooth and flavorful, elevated by roasted, ground squash seeds and a subtle curry note. * Polenta with short ribs - rich and balanced. * Smoked bluefish pâté - excellent texture though a little salty for my taste. Drinks: * Also Fancy - bright and fruity, but not overly sweet. * St. Peter's Bay - think mezcal meets Old Fashioned. * Bonus points: I asked for a custom gin gimlet, and the bartender delivered a fresh, mint-forward version that was amazing. Tall Order is a great neighborhood spot that's doing everything right. We'll absolutely be back.

One thing I thought was really nice is that they allow you to grab food from the surrounding restaurants and bring it in to eat there. We didn't end up doing that, but we did get the charcuterie board they had. It came with cheeses, crackers, and some fruit, and you can add meats for $10, which we opted out for. I will say I was a little disappointed by the fruit portion. The menu mentioned fresh fruit, so I expected more than three thin orange slices and one sliced strawberry. HOWEVER, when I asked for more strawberries, our waiter kindly brought out a whole bowl for me, which I really appreciated. We stayed for about two hours, and as the night went on the place definitely got more crowded, so we headed out. Overall, this is such a cute and cozy cocktail bar. I'm eager to try some of their other drinks, since the cocktails were definitely the highlight of the experience for me. The dim sum portions were larger than I expected, which meant we ordered way too much food. We had the fried chicken, the cucumber salad, the shrimp, the pork wontons, the soy sauce noodles, the daikon/enoki dish (I forget the name) and the charred broccoli. There wasn't anything I didn't like, but I did find that the flavor profile seemed very similar for many of the items--it seemed like most things were topped with a generous portion of chili oil, scallions, and sesame seeds. I found that this contributed to a fairly uniform flavor experience and was getting a little weary of chili oil after several dishes. The food was also spicier than I anticipated (though to be fair, I have a low spice tolerance, so others might disagree.) I would have enjoyed some less spicy options to balance out our meal. Overall, all the food was good, though, but I think if I come back I'd get fewer items (3-4 would have been plenty for 2 people) and that might also help with everything blurring together. The service was great and our waitstaff was helpful and attentive.
