When you come in you fill out this little card with exactly what you want, which I thought was a cute way to streamline things, but that was really the only highlight. The whole salon feels like a massive machine (rows and rows of nail tables and pedicure chairs) and it doesn't matter if you book 2 manicures with a friend at the same time- you won't get to sit together (and we ended up SO far apart!) because every nail tech has their own table in a sea of tables. The woman doing my nails was sweet but very unprofessional- she was on her phone texting every time my nails were in the cure chamber (sometimes leaving me to wait after I was done) and took a phone call during the manicure too. I could forgive the above if it was an excellent manicure, but one of my nails was filed pretty badly crooked and the gel polish chipped quickly. I'd personally find another spot in Eugene.

(She uses the same technician for years and has followed him from another salon). But as I don't live in Eugene, I got a different nail tech. I believe he may have been new, so why I am being gentle with my review. The pedicure and massage was okay although had to ask another tech to fix the French tip on one of my big toes, also the shoes they give you to walk to where you go to the manicure station was 2 left feet (haha). And they hurry you to the manicure station, thought I was going to trip!! When we sat down for the manicure, I told my tech I wanted a regular french manicure (real nails). He used a drill to smooth down my nails as I have ridges and in doing so, nicked my skin on my ring finger and pinky finger which burned and left a mark on one finger. Then when cutting my nails, he nicked the skin on my other hand when cutting my nails with the big clippers. That hurt!! After this, another nail tech came over and she finished the job. (I did not ask, but they all heard my yelp) haha. He was a super nice guy, just new. Also, I felt rushed the entire time. Super different vibe than the salons in my state. The end result was 3 stars, but total experience 2 because of the pain. I will not be returning once moving which is a shame because it is a nice place.

She was very sweet and not like others I've been too. She did my nails in about 40 minutes. Michelle did a massage after that was really great- also way better then I have had at other places. She took great care of me and I'm so grateful for her. I really needed this treatment. Bathrooms very clean, the space was clean and very beautiful and comforting. The trickling water sounds and light, calm music was great, I loved this about Michelle's shop. It really helped me to relax and enjoy some much needed self care. I can't wait to got back and get a pedicure. I'll do an update on the gel manicure after a week or so to post another image to show quality.

She friendly and the cost was just as said on the sandwich board out front. It was Sunday and not many people were there. Lots of parking. 2) The workers are relatively nice, but the customer service could use some improvement. Their accents are REALLY thick, which makes communication difficult. Their conversations with customers are short and to the point. 3)The manicurists live up to the typical nail salon stereotype of conversing in their native language right in front of your face instead of talking to you. It can be a little annoying and awkward. 4) The wax room is messy and doesn't appear professional. (See pictures) 5) Eyebrow wax is okay. They don't pay too much attention to detail (minimal/no extra plucking to get the hard to wax hairs). I wouldn't trust them to do too much "shaping". But if all you want is a basic wax to get most of the excess hairs gone, it works. 6) Nail work is over-priced considering the lack of quality. I got a Shellac manicure, and it ended up looking nothing like the picture I brought in. My nails were cut too short, weren't rounded enough like I requested, and lacked any sort of French Tip design. Also, the Shellac was painted onto my fingers AND dirt was left under my nail. (See pictures) All in all- If you're in a pinch for a wax or manicure, this place will work- BUT set your standards very low. Expect a messy/low class environment, not-so-good customer service, bad quality work, and to be overcharged. *UPDATE: My gel manicure lasted only a week due to the sloppy job! It started peeling off quickly! (Shellac manicures usually last 3-4 weeks when done at other salons!) DON'T go here! What a rip off!

The service was $5 and perhaps she didn't feel like it was worth her time to do a soak off, which is unfortunate. I do my own pedicure but have a hard time getting the gel polish off, and I asked for a soak because over time the drill damages nails. The facility itself was clean. No one there was remarkably friendly. I might give them one more try. I've heard good things about Sig. I'll book with her next time and see how it goes.

Turns out they open till seven on Saturdays but call ahead just in case. I LOVE the later hours because who has time to get nails done during work hours? Cici came out and I was offered water and a very friendly conversation while my nails were trimmed and filed before being painted. I was actually so pleased with the natural shiny pink that was supposed to be the base for the French manicure that I actually decided just to go with two coats of the pink base, which they told me was called "marshmallow." They also showed me a couple of other styles of nail color that I test out in the future. I wasn't there very long; the skill level was very high. They have a nice bar area if you want to hang out with the girlfriends before it's your turn. I think Queenie was the name of the other staff person. The two of them were very hospitable and I look forward to returning in a couple of weeks. The manicure was just $35 with the shellac removal being an extra five dollars. If I've gone with my French manicure it would've been a total of $45. So prices were actually very reasonable. Skill level very high. Highly recommend!
