I also really love the final product and expertise that my technician put into my nails, I was really pleased. I am not about the difference between the "spa pedicure" and the "deluxe pedicure". I paid $10 more for the Deluxe and I thought I would have gotten a little more foot massage and calf massage, but that did not seem to be the case. Even though it was a busy Sunday, the young man at the front was incredibly kind and accommodating and was able to get me in last minute. From the moment I walked in, everyone was welcoming and professional. Bee did an amazing job! She had great attention to detail, took her time, and never made me feel rushed despite how busy the salon was. The conversation was wonderful, and the entire experience was relaxing and enjoyable. Sometimes they massage me sometimes they don't. Sometimes they put lotion on sometimes they don't. What i really want to share is the bad experience I've had with my manicure. It's the worst. I have been cut and my cuticles are destroyed. See pictures. I am in so much pain. I'm pretty laid-back and not super picky, but this was horrible. I wanted short nails with a simple white French tip. I also texted her about a follow up appointment that I wanted to book for a few weeks after and I received no response. Day of my nail appointment, she texts me back saying she is going to be 10 mins late. I arrived at 11:35, same time as scheduled and waited in my car an extra 10 mins before heading in and waiting another 25-30 mins. After I sat in her chair she told me that short French tip nails would be $75 because it is considered "extreme art". I would understand this if it was acrylic cut out french tip, but not for regular hand painted. I told her this is not what her website says and that I was not comfortable paying for that especially after I was disregarded on Instagram and text and then she made me wait over half an hour for my appointment on top of that. I was really looking forward to getting my nails done by her as I thought her nail art and style is really cute. She blocked me on Instagram after I left the salon which I think was very immature. I know many nail techs that would've offered a discount for just the fact of being late alone. I was disappointed by the lack of communication and the fact that I waited over 30 minutes for a scheduled appointment. Hopefully she will do better in the future with her communication and time management.
