The overall vibe and experience (in the salon) was very good and my stylist was very friendly and nice. When I left I was satisfied with the appearance of my hair. Now, I know tape-ins can be a bit uncomfortable (which they were painful when I left) but I just continued on with my day. As days went on the pain became more and more painful, so painful that where the tape-ins were installed was throbbing. I reached out to the hairstylist but didnt get a response so I contacted several other hairstylists to look at my head and get advice via photos. They all recommend to remove immediately as they were not installed properly, they were to close to the scalp with to much tension. My friend who is also a licensed hairstylist said the same thing and helped me remove them that night (which was 6 days of me having them in). I finally got a hold of the stylist who did my hair and let her know of the situation. She told me I had a sensitive scalp and it could have been caused by some underlining health issues. (That is not the case) as I told her that I've bleach my hair and had things done to my hair for years and NEVER had any scalp issues like this. I did ask for a partial refund and not a full refund. I asked for a partial refund because of the physical bodily harm that was caused to me due to the improper installation. I was told no; that once my head heals she'll just install them again just further away from the root and I will not be receiving a refund. Not only did I not have the hair in for that long (6 days) but if I didnt remove them it could have caused even further permanent damage to my scalp. I spent $450 not including the tip of $40 that I gave the stylist.

I made an appt for three of my children and one of the stylist called us before someone else and I totally understand, it was a mistake. A little before that a woman came in with a man, seemed like the owners or at least the managers. She then called my son's name and I said right here, she called someone else that literally has just arrived. I told her sorry I think you didn't hear me but were here. She apologized and proceeded to tell me she already called another child. I said I know but im here and have been here before them. I also made an appt before. She said well I already called him with an unprofessional actitud, proceeded to let her know I know but were here and she simply said you can wait they will call you right now. I myself am a small business latina owner and always support others but she simply didnt care if I did business with her. I deal with customers on a daily and we live and thrive of our customers. To be treated with such unprofessionlism was awful because that's what keep ones business going. If she treated me like this and it's a kid hair place I could only imagine how she treats her staff. Very unfortunate they lost 4 local customers, do not recommend this place. There are so many others like the one we went to after were did a great job, kind, professional, cheaper and less than half the wait.

Since I wanted to play up my natural texture, she added a bunch of fun layers without sacrificing too much length.
