He worked his magic with such a beautiful color! I visit him every 5 weeks for my touch ups. He does my trims every visit and let me just add that it has helped my hair growth tremendously! I made a next day appointment for Friday and Jennier was able to see me. Prior to booking an appointment, I sent a photo of my hair and the style i want. Jennifer quoted me the price so that there is no surprise charges on the day! Her quote is reasonable and includes balayage for my hair, treatment, and hair cut. She even curled it at the end. As for my hair, it has some damages from bleaching (which is inevitable) but it definitely is soft from the marvelous treatment. Jennifer was very professional, she worked on my mid-back length and thick hair quickly. She is also friendly and such a great person to talk you! I am definitely going back to her! read more

Absolutely incredible work! First time here and will not be the last. I managed to meet one of the most professional, intuitive stylists at this salon. She was very sweet, asked specific questions to gauge how I like to wear my hair, studied my reference pictures, respected the natural part in my hair, and seamlessly adapted to different ideas/ concerns I had along the way. I've had very bad luck in the past with hair stylists who like to bully/ steamroll me into something I didn't sign up for, so this was such a welcoming experience to say the least. Can I just say, this salon is a hidden gem. I was pleasantly surprised by Vanessa's promptness in responding to my messages and Jennifer's amazing talent! I recently moved to the area and I suddenly got the urge to chop off all my hair and donate it to Wigs 4 Kids. I messaged multiple salons around the area but Vanessa was the first to message me back unlike other salons who wouldn't message me until the next day. Things like that really stand out to me because it really shows they care. It's been over three years since I've cut my hair so I was super nervous, not to mention, I have trouble trusting anyone with my hair. But Jennifer made me feel so welcomed and comfortable, I immediately trusted her to do her magic. I called So-Me Salon in the evening asking for a same day appointment for a haircut (I know, I'm one of those) because I was having one of those "I need a haircut and I really want it today" moments. I knew I had to cut my hair that same day or else the courage to cut my hair at all would be gone the next day. So-Me accommodated me by allowing me to come in that same night despite my short notice. I appreciated this gesture very much especially because upon arriving I was greeted warmly and respectfully. Eric was my hair stylist. Right off the bat, Eric was friendly and very easy to talk to. This is a huge deal for me because I loathe awkwardness. I always find it wonderful when a hair stylist is personable, it really makes for easier communication. Eric was very great at listening to my concerns regarding wanting to keep as much length as possible. He was sure to ask how I styled my hair and was quick and respectful in recommending what he felt would best suit me while keeping the style (picture) that I had shown him in mind. His suggestions turned out to be great! I very much appreciated his ability to produce a haircut that looked like what I requested. Often times I find that stylists tend to do whatever they want and not take much into consideration regarding what you ask for, this was not the case at So-Me. I am very satisfied with my haircut especially because Eric was able to keep length on my hair. I walked out of that salon with happy, bouncy and wonderfully smelling hair. This isn't a super fancy salon but what matters is that I, as a client, left happy. I would certainly reccomend Eric on the basis that he really listens to you and is very amiable. read more

Absolutely horrible. Door was locked at 12pm with no sign so I didn't know if they were closed. Lady opens the door rude as can be when we asked about hair cuts- said 75. 75 over and over again. I was so excited to get a consultation and try something different. Left a bad taste in my mouth. So disappointing would post 0 stars. Found a salon not that far from here that took us in so welcoming so it's ok. Was just so excited to try this place. Update: I absolutely have no problem with a locked door! Understand safety first(especially at this location). Price was also not an issue for us. I simply tired to open the door. There was absolutely no conversation (there wasn't enough time) which should not have been the case. We should have been welcomed as potential new clients. If there was no time for a consultation we would have gladly come back! First impressions say a lot. read more
