New Girl On Point! Came in for Wash, Cut and Style: Desperately need a cut and blow out for my holiday party this weekend so I saw JENNIFER. Great personality, very courteous and was good to ask what cut I wanted and made her recommendations as well. I love that she didn't go ham with the scissors and cut just the right amount of hair for me, also my hair is extremely curly and not many got the forearm for blowing it out like I like it, but this girl knew exactly what to do. Got her perfect little cocktail of product and her blow dryer and DID WORK!Other times I could feel all the product built up in my hair from too much product. Another terrific cut from Elida! I hadn't been to Elida in at least 7 months because I'd been unexpectedly out of the country, I foolishly trimmed my stick-straight hair myself a few months ago, and, well, it was getting ratty.   I didn't know how I wanted to update it when I went in today, but Elida pulled up a few terrific reference pictures on her phone and we found one that suited my face shape. Now I feel like Brigitte Bardot! and can't recommend Elida enough.  I'm sure she's great with curly or men's hair, too, but she's amazing with long super straight medium thickness hair, which has always revealed every snip from every cut every other hairdresser has ever given me at every other shop -- that is, until Elida.   Before I started going to Elida, I was never comfortable just letting my hair down.  I'm quite happy I won a gift certificate that brought me to her a few years ago.   Elida never pressures me into any color, cut or style.  She takes her time understanding what I'd like and always asks me to check the progress along the way.   She understands, since I don't own a blow-dryer, flat iron, or hair spray for that matter, that the cut must look clean and polished, as is.   Elida is happy to incorporate styles from photos I've brought, and is so great at giving a softer cut.  She even lets me squeeze in an appointment between clients who are getting perms or colorings.  Plus she's friendly and has a nice laugh! read more
